Okay, I keep having this box pop up while on Neopets, and I screen captured it. It seems to be coming from one of the ads, since it has doubleclick.net in the address bar. Is this some kind of pop-up from a bad ad that I should report or what? I have not clicked okay, or even clicked the X up in the corner, since I know some malware can continue to try to download itself regardless of what you click, and the only safe alternative is to kill the processes from the task manager.

I've never seen that before, but you're right: definitely don't click on it if you're not sure what it is. After all, programmers can put whatever they want as the default close operation. There are multiple ways to restrict ads from specific sites (built in to some browsers, although you can apparently do it online manually or use an ad-blocker), so try blocking doubleclick and see if you keep getting that error. If you do, it's probably malware. In any case, run a virus scan or two (and/or upgrade or switch your antivirus), and I'd suggest reporting it if ad-blocking doesn't solve the problem.
How long has this been popping up? Also, in your taskbar at the bottom of the screen, is the pop-up shown as a different application type from your browser, or the same type but a new window/tab, or just another part of the same tab?

I first saw it about an hour ago, I think. I've seen it about five or six times now, five of those in about three minutes of each other. It has stopped popping up again.

Apparently the file in question is something Flash uses via Javascript to render web pages, but if you're only receiving it from a certain ad, that's pretty unusual. You could also try re-installing your Flash player and seeing if that makes a difference.

Thanks, Coaster.
