Bridge City is cool. =D May I also suggest Tower City or Royal City?
EDIT: Concerning characters, I think I'll be a villainous mad political scientist/historian who is sick of the system and wishes to reform it through radical conquest. She will have the power of time travel and flight as well as an alter-ego named Diana Day. One of the main drawbacks of her powers is that it messes up her aging, giving her very distinctive white hair which she hides under a wig in her alter-ego as one of the may ways to hide her identity. Aside from the white hair, she does not look a day over 25. Of course, her powers have left her a little...unbalanced, shall we say? xD
EDIT 2: Supervillain name: Ancien. She mainly relies on her intelligence, flight and strength, preferring not to use her time-travelling powers unless she has to due to their side-effects. She has abused them a lot in the past, resulting in the aging crisis.

Ooh, everyone's characters are so amazing! A nice ghost guy with powers that he himself get disturbed at, a particle controller, a megalomaniac with time travelling powers...I'M SO EXCITED! I've been thinking for a while now, I've decided my character's power will be light "manipulation", something like being able to control energy taking it from sun light itself, but when she does, it turns red! That's why she is "La Fenice", goes for "the phoenix"!

Bridge City Bridge City I vote Bridge City (can it also have an unusually large population of bats) (... hey it's an alternate version, maybe bats are the new pigeons or somethin') Bridge City is cool. =D May I also suggest Tower City or Royal City? Also, it was the basic premise of The Incredibles. ;D I love that movie.

Character - I think I'm using Blue Jay/Dayna ("Dayna" will probably be changed since we already have a "Diana"). She's from the never-got-going superhero RP. Powers are blue energy bolts of various effects from her hands (along the lines of shocking and charring, usually), and limited teleportation. She'll have been a superhero for a few years if the plot allows; either way, she finds herself feeling more like "herself" in her superhero persona, probably leading to a lot of confusion about whether she should devote more time to super-heroing or living a normal life and all that good stuff (that hopefully will not become boring angst when I write it =D)
Plot/Setting - Bridge City sounds good to me; I like Royal City, too, though. (Inordinately large bat population sounds good to me! ;D) Also liking the direction this is going with the political issues. Sounds like it could make for a very deep, complex story!

Right now I'm thinking of a sort of anti-hero character who uses shadows to hide and travel through. And knives. Yep.

Bridge City sounds like a cool name. (Is it a reference to something? xD) And bats-like-pigeons-in-terms-of-population-and-prevalence is an awesome idea. =D
I think my businessman character will be named Patrick Renard. He uses his illusion powers to make himself appear more attractive, if that tells you anything about him. xD He can be very charming, but also very manipulative. He has a tendency to mess with people's minds. Maybe even his own...who knows?
EDIT: I forgot the entire reason I was making this post. >_> When do you all want to start? This weekend, maybe? Preferences?
