I'll try out. If it's parody-ish, like The Tick, I think I'll be Hero Man. With the power to make delicious sandwiches. Otherwise, if it's serious, I think I'll be an evil minion. But I'm undecided on both counts.
Also, why are all the Marvel superheroes in New York? Spiderman, The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, and even The X-Men are just north of the city.

I think fictionalized London would be cool =D It'd definitely be nice to do something different than the normal New York stuff.

I'm so glad everyone likes fictionalised London. =D This should be tons of fun. And I'd say let's keep everything loose with tone and whether it is a parody or not. After all, if we do have a mixture of styles, there is no reason a parody superhero shouldn't take a level in awesome (take for example Deadpool: can't get any more parody yet still works well in the Marvel universe) or have a menacing villain with comedic undertones (which could even make them more scary). So why don't we all make up the characters we want and then throw them together and see what would happen.

Yes, that sounds good. ^^
...I still need to figure out what I'm doing. xD Whether I'll adapt a previously created character, create a character based on my forum persona, or create an entirely new character.

Wow yes parallel-universe London sounds awesome. =D
I think my hero is gonna be a ghost boy of some sort. Standard assortment of ghostly abilities, surprisingly cool head, quirky sense of humour, still really into comic books even though he has a bit of trouble turning the pages now that he's dead. He also happens to have the ability to bring anyone back to life, no exceptions — with the one catch being that whoever he revives must kill someone else before the end of their first day back among the living, or else they just drop right back into the grave. Poor kid's gonna be all twisted up inside about his abilities, aw. <3

London sounds good. I know nothing about London. I'll be Ashes. A superhero from an unfinished story of mine. He can control particles, such as those that make up dirt, sand, gravel, and yes, smoke and ash. If there aren't any of those around, he can break up rocks into smaller pieces. Unfortunately (and this would've come up in the original story), in a city, their aren't a whole lot of particles, resulting in a lot of collateral damage when he breaks up the pavement... or someone's house.

I'll talk about my sinister businessman with illusion powers later. I have to go to class soonish, so I don't have time at the moment.

Yeah, we should share our plans and prepare this until we're all ready to start! ^u^ So what's our London-like city is gonna be called? any suggestions? I've been really into italian stuff lately (yay, family tree!), so I'll probably go on with the cheesy girl with the venice mask. XD
