(You might not want to read these unless you've read all of CT.
Action Girl- All female members of the NPC Army and every female who fought against it. Also, Tion

Affably Evil- Geier and Chalk until it's revealed neither of them are exactly evil
Ax Crazy- Tion, until the very end
Back From The Dead- Subverted, as no one actually dies however played straight with Piers . Also presumably averted with the NPC Army ((Fridge Horror))
Badbutt- ...Too many to list.
Batman Gambit- Both Chalk's and Tion's plans are this kind.
Berserk Button- What Tion's goal pressed in Starla, and presumably several others.
Beware The Nice Ones- Starla again. Also Piers.
Big Bad- Tion
Big Doggone Heroes- Subverted! Only included because said subversion made This Troper go
for five minutes straight
Bittersweet Ending- The heroes are unsuccessful, but everything's okay in the end. The heroes all live, but several Unwitting Pawns do not, and the ending is a bittersweet Tear Jerker.
Brainwashed And Crazy - What is eventually revealed to be why the NPC Army is doing what it is doing.
Call To Adventure- The Peaceful Day celebration.
Chekhov's Gun- The goggles, the explosion threat, and Writer Powers .
Continuity Nod- Loads of them, but one of the most notable is Geier's hometown being destroyed by events that took place in the Mirror Arc.
Crapsack World- the Bad Future.
Curb Stomp Battle- On the villainous side, the battle against Masked Dedede and Giga Bowser looks to be this, however it's eventually subverted.
Darker And Edgier- The entire story, when compared with the Icy Taco as a whole.
Deadpan Snarker- Several.
The Dragon- Sgt. Guy could technically qualify.
Earth Shattering Kaboom- Subverted.
Eldritch Abomination- One is under the control of the NPC Army.
The End of the World as We Know It- What Tion plans to create. She doesn't go through with it, however.
Epileptic Trees- As a web serial, there were several of these.
Fandom Nod- Several references to Running Gags from the rest of the storyverse, for example "Yer a character, Geier!"
Freudian Excuse- For Geier (his entire town was destroyed by battling villains) and Tion as well.
Genre Savvy- Typical of an Icy Taco story.
Heel Face Turn- Tion is the only one who counts, as nobody else who this applies to was a true Heel. Also possibly Sgt. Guy , though his alignment at the end is ambiguous.
Heroic BSOD- Various characters underwent quiet ones at various parts of the story.
Karma Houdini- Arguably the heroes, though somewhat mitigated by the fact that they had no choice.
Knight Templar- Tion , until the end. Also Geier, though he seems to get better by the end.
Lampshade Hanging- During the lighter moments.
Large Ham- Dedede and Bowser are both this.
Meaningful Name- Chalk 's name hints at his alignment.
-Punny Name- Narra and Tion
Mooks- There are several. Deconstructed as those Mooks are shown to have families and their own personalities and also are brainwashed by the goggles they wear .
Nice Hat- Discussed by Mary the Medic; after leaving the army, she still likes her hat.
Nice Job Breaking It Hero- Or at least speeding along the breakage.
Non-Indicative Name- Geier means vulture, but he isn't particularly a scavenger, nor vulture-like in really any way.
Oh Crap- For most, when the Doomed Dice appeared near the end.
One Winged Angel- Tion, when returned to her true form.
Redshirts- Again, the Mooks. Again, deconstructed.
Saving The World- What the heroes plan to do. Also what Chalk is trying to do.
Story Arc- Technically the second in its arc, but the first to heavily Foreshadow that more is coming.
