"Once you're born inside the woods, you senses really come in use!" The wocky chanted, following inside the swamp with no problems. It seems that the wocky has been cursed with bad luck for so long she actually managed to deal with nicely, showing good coordination while dodging petpets trying to bite her feet and branches that could hit her. "And here we are! The Swamp Witch's cabin, looks like we're lucky!" She began knocking on the door happily.

Tannhauser knocked on the door of his client's house. "G'day suh," answered a stout Wocky at the door. "Are you the supernatural dete'tive?" "That I am," confirmed Tannhauser. "Where is this alleged apparition?" "I's upstairs suh, in the attic. I'll lead you there, suh." The attic was dark. and musky. And then, off in one corner, was a splotch of blackness. No. It was darker than blackness. It was pure darkness. "I' was moving a few hours ago," explained the Wocky. "I don't suppose you know anything 'bout it?" Tannhauser approached the blot with caution. He poked it with a stick. Nothing happened. He poured ghost indicator solution on it. Nothing happened. Then, Tannhauser looked out the window. He saw the swamp clearly, and could even see the Witch's hut. He couldn't make out any individual, but he was sure people were there. They'd arrived. "This apparition is but a side effect," said Tannhauser to his client. "It's nothing to worry about. Here, take this ghost repellent. It should get the stain out in a week or so... hopefully." He recalled that, although it didn't do much, the ghost repellent had previously aggravated the Shadow Usul. Perhaps it could get a stain out as well.
And now, he thought to preform my duty to society.

Repleka was the one lost by now. After flying in circles, she hadn't found any signs of a witch's house. With a sigh, she moved out of the swamp and landed.
It was just in front of a house. Not Sophie's, but still, it was a house. She thought she heard voices. With a peek in the window, she saw the same Scorchio they had been traveling with.
Outside the door she waited. When he left, maybe he could help her catch up.
Meanwhile, Saeryennan prepared to curtsy politely to Sophie. She'd heard about the unfortunate pets who had been turned into Mortogs or whatever, and she didn't need that. She needed to get Xandra back on her feet.

((I'd be willing to play her, but I currently have an ulterior motive for Charles Grayson, who I intend to introduce soon, so I'm not sure it's wise))

The brown Techo snuck up behind the group undetected. Ichabod Tannhauser accompanied him from a distance. He approached the gypsy with caution, and swiftly slipped a rope around her wrist. Doing so, he made his presence known.
"The name's Grayson. Charles Grayson," he introduced himself. "I've received a tip-off from this here Scorchio that you are responsible for the theft of a wheelbarrow. I have been instructed not to arrest you, but instead accompany you and arrest you upon your return from whatever it is you're doing. I have also sent a messenger to Altador, hoping that what you are attempting will become known, and will thenceforth be a matter held strictly by professionals. I also understand that I have no power to enforce this, but I have been told to advice the princess to return to Altador, 'as soon as the Xweetok is back in form,' as I quote. "
Tannhauser stepped forward meekly. "I understand that you all must thoroughly despise me now," he confessed. "But here me out. I would feel much better if I knew that the fate of whatever the shadow behemoth is attempting to destroy rested in the hands of people such as King Altador and Queen Fyora. I will not attempt to prevent you carrying on the quest, but I would not put the safety of Neopia in the hands of some trick-or-treaters. Even if they are of royalty."

"Arrested? Sheesh, it's just a wheelbarrow! We were going to return it, and yes Tannhauser, I do despise you now. Hunf, arrested!" The gypsy crossed her arms, she hated being under control of someone. "And just so you know, I am cursed with bad luck! I doubt you'd survive a day around me!" She warned the Techo, and right after so a passing by slorg attempted to bite her, but right when it got close she lifted her foot, making the slorg bite the techo instead. "See? Stand back for your own good!"

"Bitten? By a slorg? They don't even have teeth!" exclaimed Grayson. "I admit, it's a bit uncomfortable, but nothing more."
"I'd go so far to point out," said Tannhauser, "that your alleged curse of bad luck has not shaken you from this quest so far. Additionally, shouldn't being arrested count as bad luck by your own devices?"
"He makes a good point," corroborated Grayson. "Also, you should know that being arrested does not mean you'll be convicted. The most likely scenario is that you'll be made to pay what you cost the apple merchant in inconveniences."
"I do not mean anyone here any harm," confessed Tannhauser. "But an arrest was the only way to ensure some help, as the Neovian government would not do well to join any quest of questionable legitimacy in the area."

Saeryennan approached the Techo, marching her way to him until she was looking him in the eye as best she could.
"Pardon me," she said, "but WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!"
"Saery, shhh!" Xandra began. "I'm sure if - "
"You're not my father!" the princess continued. "You're not even in the Altadorian council system! You have no authority to tell me what to do! And for your information, we only took the thing to save her!" She pointed at Xandra.
From behind the Techo, Repleka floated a little bit off of the ground. This was getting so annoying.
Saeryennan than gestured to Miraja.
"Oh, and by the way, she is royalty as well! And you can bet we'll both tell our families about this!"

Grayson stayed level. "I'm sure you are rather upset by the events which have took place tonight. So I will excuse this unprecedented outburst. Firstly, any royal family holds no jurisdiction in Neovia. Also, I never ordered anyone on any count. I merely gave advice as dictated to me by Tannhauser. Furthermore, if I may quote myself, 'I also understand that I have no power to enforce this, but I have been told to advice the princess to return to Altador, "as soon as the Xweetok is back in form."'
He then turned to the gypsy again, holding out some papers and a pen. "Now if you'll just sign here confirming that I have alerted you that you are to be arrested upon your return to Neovia?"

"S-signing?" The gypsy asked, suddenly looking embarrassed. "No can do. Not signing anything, not interested, not coping. Not.being.arrested. I had pure intentions, and I am not signing anything. Now get me out of this rope before I get free myself!"

((I don't think this needs to be said, but I'll say it anyway in case someone hasn't noticed - you can count me out of this. I can't keep up with the rate of posting. I take far too long to perfect my RP posts and beyond that, I can't sit online all day. xD; Also, no one seemed to interact with Dag except Dju which kind of left me with nothing to do even if I did feel like continuing. ^^; Can I just remind you all that RPing is about creating a collaborative story, and the essence of that story is reaction. If no one reacts to something someone's done, or doesn't give the kind of reaction which will continue the story, you're kind of fencing that person into a dead end and either forcing them out of the RP, or forcing them to break character to do something drastic that will get noticed. Keep an eye out for that, 'cause that's what'll end your RP most often.
Have fun folks. ^^))
