So, this started out on the Taco, based on a number of things. Basically, you pick a character to ask a few questions on love and romance. You do not have to ask them all of these questions if you don't want to. Current questions (feel free to suggest more): -What would you look for in an ideal date? -Do you believe in true love? -Do you believe in love at first sight? -What do you think your love language is? Basically, different people 'speak' love in different ways, and will both show and respond to love in a particular way.
There are five love languages: Gifts, acts of service, quality time, touch, and words of affirmation.
Bear in mind that one's 'love language' is also their 'hate language,' meaning that if someone doesn't 'speak' to them in their language, they're going to be upset. For example, if a guy likes gifts, and a girl likes touch, they're going to have some communication problems unless they learn to speak each-other's language.
Also, liking to *cough* make out is not equivalent to having touch as a love language. Let's face it, people like that stuff. Also, feel free to suggest a better title.

You first! *Points at Aizen.* *laughs* Well, let's see... Students in SAIA aren't allowed to have kids or else they'd get expelled, and after SAIA, I'm heading out to become a warrior for hire, which means I can't really stay in one place. Not to say that things can't still happen. But anyway, first she'd have to pass my basic test, of course. After that, I want someone that I can have some fun with!] Ah, I see. *Nods.* Makes sense enough. But now I wonder what your basic test is. XD; Unfortunately, it's the type of test where I can't tell ya, or else it doesn't work. ...But I thought that only applied to the girl you'd be courting. Unless... o_0 They'd have to pass long before I'd consider dating, which of course, comes before courting. And I'm not sure what you're thinking about, but it's not dirty! I figured as much. Just a common term for it that I like to throw around. I wasn't thinking it was dirty. XD; ... Oh. In that case, no. It's a general test, not just for those I might want to date. Even if it wasn't, there's a good chance that the person I was testing would hear it through the grapevine with all these people here. Okay, Aizen, I'm asking the other questions. Do you believe in true love? Sure, but not in the way that most people think of it. Okay, do you believe in love at first sight? Nah. 'Limerence'? Yes. Love? No. Okay, what do you think your love language is? Hmm... Probably quality time. Why don't you tell us about your perfect date, Harpuia? 'Perfect date'? *sigh* Unfortunately, I am one of those people who are 'married to their work' for various reasons, as are many other combat Reploids. And even if I weren't, I'm afraid there would be complications. You've seen my figure, I've been mistaken for a female plenty of times. This means that the people who are likely to like me back... are also the kind of people that I would not like to be with. *Can't help but laugh at that.* Anyway, surely there's some people who haven't mistaken you for female... Right? Perhaps. But my appearance - and voice - are still likely to influence their opinion. I suppose. Though for real love, that won't really matter. But getting to real love in the first place...Well, we never said it was easy... Come on, Layer. Who would your perfect date be? W-well... He... He would have to be strong. And brave. Not afraid to stand up when needed... D'awww. :3 Say Layer, would this perfect date happen to have amazing hair. U-u-uhh... That must be a yeesss~

Soooo Silver, what is your idea of a perfect date? Oh! Umm.... Something that would involve lots of snuggle time and something fun for us to do together Scrac: Actually, by date, I meant type of person you'd like to go out on a date with. Why didn't you say "to date", then? Anyway, that's an easy question to answer. Max! Scrac: Okay. The next question is....Do you believe in true love? Absolutely. Scrac: Do you believe in love at first sight? Yes. Scrac: Lastly, what do you think you love language is? Touch. Serif: You want me to answer questions about what?
I want you to talk about what your ideal man is =p
Serif: One that won't betray or try to kill me. *teleports out*
=/
Luska, what characteristics would your ideal date have? Luska: Well, I actually don't care if he's handsome or strong, as long as he's smart and caring. He kind of has to like robots if the relationship is going to work out. He would preferably be able to build some of his own and be my partner in developing robot technology. I'd really like it if his life span was as long as mine Do you believe in true love? Luska: Yes. Do you believe in love at first sight? Luska: I believe it can happen, yes. But not for me, with the way I currently am. I doubt I'd want to be in a relationship with any guy who would want to be with what was, for all appearances, a twelve year old girl. Sounds more then reasonable. What do you think you love language is? Luska: My what? *shows her list* Luska: Oh....um. I'm not sure. Maybe words of affirmation? Garamoooooond! What characteristics would your ideal date have?
Garamond: Funny, caring, nice, and fun to be with. ^^
Do you believe in true love?
Garamond: I'm not sure what exactly "true love" is.
Um...I think the definition varies from person to person, but I see it as the belief that there is one person out there for everyone that is the perfect match for them, that any relationships they've had up to that point were just preparing them or leading them to their 'one true love'. The person they would die to protect and are miserable when they aren't together.
Garamond: Wow o.o
So, do you believe in true love?
Garamond:...I'm not sure...But I think so.
Okay. Do you believe in love at first sight?
Garamond: *giggles* No. I believe in attracted at first sight, but you have to get to know someone to fall in love with them.
What would you say is your language of love? *hands her the sheet*
Garamond:....Either touch, quality time, or words of affirmation. Probably affirmation.
Jace: You want me to answer questions about what? Here we go again ¬_¬ Jace: No, I'll answer your questions, on one condition. What? Jace: You have to answer them too >) No >_> And no one cares about my answers, anyway Jace: If no one cares then no one will read it. So what have you got to lose? You're an evil little demented creature, but fine. I'll answer the questions too. Jace: Alright. Shoot me a question. What do you look for in an ideal date? Jace: She's got to be hot. You're a shallow guy. Do you believe in true love? Jace: No. Do you believe in love at first sight? Jace: Nope. What's your love language? Jace: Let's set this straight. I don't believe in love. If I date a girl it's not because I give two cents about how she feels or what her favorite color is. It's for other reasons. Jace: that's not a very fair title to give to your own answers. Scrac: Meh. ¬_¬ Jace: What is your ideal date? Scrac: Someone I can cuddle with and talk to. Someone who won't turn out to be a total jerkwad. Jace: Do you believe in true love? Scrac: I'd like to say yes, but my answer is no. I used to believe in true love, but not anymore. Jace: Do you believe in love at first sight? Scrac: No. Jace: What do you think your love language is? Scrac: Um...Acts of service or words of affirmation. Jace: Not touch? Scrac: I like touch, but I also have a problem with it because I'm extremely ticklish. And I don't like being tickled. Jace: You're ticklish? >) Scrac: Don't even think about it >_> -edit- Oh hey look I took the quiz that scores your love languages. My results: Din: My ideal guy?.....Nice, sensitive, and good with kids =)
Do you believe in true love?
Din: I'm not sure. I'll have to think on it.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Din: I...don't know.
What do you think your love language is?
Din: I don't know. I'm sorry, I'm terrible at this. :c
Glyph: *maniacal laughter*
Caslon: Uh... nice chests and legs? As for personality... Well, someone brave, kind, and understanding?
Do you believe in true love?
Caslon:...No.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Caslon: I guess it can happen, but I doubt it works out very often.
What do you think your love language is?
Caslon: I don't know. Maybe "words of affirmation".
Avenir: My ideal partner... I guess I'm not picky. I really just need to be able to have fun with him. I'm not sure if I believe in true love or in love at first sight, and I don't know what my 'love language" is. Having a lover in general is a pretty new concept for me.
Aldine: I'm not interested in a relationship like that right now. But I am more then open for friendship.
Fell: *raises eyebrows* I'd like him to be a cutie-pie, for one, and have a decent personality. Yes, I believe in true love, yes, I believe in love at first sight, and my love language is.....Guess Kasi: My ideal man...isn't afraid of me. Yeah, I guess I believe in true love. Love at first sight? Sure, that too. And I think I'm a "words of affirmation" type girl.

Okay, guys. Thought I'd mention:
While it is possible for someone to 'speak' multiple love languages, I hear that you only have one 'native' language. You may like things from multiple languages, but it doesn't really count if you only react to one aspect of it, or if you only like it for certain reasons. So you may want to ask your characters how they would feel if their date/mate/whatever were completely holding back on one language (or even interacting with them negatively for that language) and then positively in another. This should help identify what their primary language is (though I know uncertain and/or vague answers are possible when they themselves aren't sure).
I do understand that we are asking what they think their love language is, but the question is for a single language, not for multiple ones. In case where they can't seem to pick a specific one, I believe an 'or' answer would be more accurate than an 'and' one.
I'm okay if they mention possible 'secondary' languages, though I ask that you make sure they clarify what they believe is secondary.

...I'm not interested in anything like that. I'm happier by myself. Umm... I guess my ideal date would be someone who can put up with my, uh, energy? I'd like them to be fun as well, and... to not yell at me when I'm running around. ._. I'm... not really sure what I think about the other questions though. ^^; Guess I'd like my guy to be fun-loving and not afraid to get into a little trouble now and then. He'd also have to not have a problem with my, uh... "hobby". As for the "true love" and "love at first sight" stuff... I'm not really into mushy stuff like that, but I guess if you hit it off with someone straight away, it's usually a good sign. Love language... would probably be touch. I, uh... strongly doubt there's much chance of me meeting someone who'd want to stick around me, let alone get that close, but... I guess I'd like someone who'd look past my imperfections and like me for... me? >_> Gah, that sounded so sappy. It'd be nice if they weren't too lively, as well. I have to put up with that enough as it is. The other questions... no clue. I figure it'll never happen, so why bother thinking about it? >_>; Heh. My ideal date would have to be exciting and strong spirited, and not afraid to get into danger. They'd, uh, also have to be careful and not mind the fact I have drills for hands. *grins sheepishly* "True love" and love at first sight? That... seems a bit idealised to me, to be honest. As for the language thing, guess I'd like quality time. ...Though this whole concept seems strange to me, I feel I would rather my "relationship" be more of a mutual respect than anything else. Ooh my! ^^ My ideal date would definitely be a kind, gentle lady. It would be nice if she was into flowers as well. *sighs happily* Of course I believe in true love. And my language is most certainly gifts. I would present my lady with wonderful perfumes and beautiful flowers and... *trails off* Hmm... my ideal date would be an intelligent, thoughtful woman. She would also need to have some kindness to her. ...Not to mention patience, which she'll need if she's going to be putting up with my little sister. "Love at first sight"... I believe is exaggurated a little. I find it somewhat hard to comprehend someone falling head over heels for someone they don't even know. "True love" on the other hand... if you like somebody so much that you feel the fact you met each other must be fate, then... that must be a nice feeling. As for my love language, that would be words of affirmation. Oh, my... ideal date? *goes a bit red* ...Umm, well, I'd like someone who's fun, and who I can get into trouble with. Maybe someone with a bit of mischeviousness to them. The "true love" stuff... I don't really know what I think about it, to be honest. It sounds a bit... mushy to me. As for my love language, that'd be quality time, probably.

Goin' through the whole list! Hoohah! ...Ideal date? ...Well, to be honest, I'm not really all that interested in that right now. Although... I think I'd like to meet a man who is strong and independent, who can do things on his own. A man who stays with me because he wants to, rather than because he feels he needs to, you know? And I guess that's really what true love is to me. On that note, well... it's impossible to form that sort of relationship on first sight. As for my love language... ...Words of affirmation are important to me. ((Quick note: although Peffa is technically an incarnation of me, her views vary slightly from my own. :U)) Not interested. ...can you at least answer the other questions No, no, and don't know. Acts of service, maybe. ...'k then But I thought you said I'm too young for that! yeah well can you answer the other questions Okay! Of course true love exists~ Probably not at first sight, though! And I like presents~! I-I... I... ... ...... ...Jernath? ...I'm not answering that. Leave me alone. Can't you at least— Leave me alone. *storms off* ... I-ideal date? Well, uh... you know... someone nice. Someone I can spend time with, you know? *ahem* True love... I'd say so, but it's something you have to work for. So definitely not the kind of thing you get at first sight. And I'd say acts of service mean the most to me. ... I have no plans to pursue any romantic interests at this time. I suppose if I were to look, it would have to be someone intelligent. ...As for your other questions, I don't believe there can ever be any "true" love, much less anything you can gain upon first meeting. ...And out of that list, I suppose I would say... words of affirmation. D-date? Pearly didn't put you up to this, did she? ... No? Well, okay. It would definitely have to be someone nice, with a good sense of humor. And sure, there can be true love! It's not all that easy to find, though. As for love at first sight, hm... sure, but not true love. And, um... Quality time, I guess! Though gifts are nice too~ An ideal date? Well, she'd be cute, for sure, but she'd also have to be nice and like me the way I am, see! Sure there's true love! It takes a while to build up to, though. You can fall in love with someone pretty fast, but it's definitely not true love at first. And probably gifts, pal! *gasp!* Oh n-no! I'm not old enough for that! But of course there's true love! I know that because Mystic Maya and Mystic Mia both have a ~special someone~ there for them! *tee-hee* And sure there's love at first sight, but real love is something with stronger bonds than that. And, um... *looks at the list of love languages* ... Um... ... :U *briefly explains what each of them are* Oh! Well, that last one is nice~ ...I have no desire to seek out any romantic interests at this point. ...can you answer the other questions, at least? Hm? ...Of course there's no such thing as true love or love at first sight. Such notions are ridiculous. *glances at the list of love languages* ... *thinks on this* ...... ...Words of affirmation, I suppose. *chuckles* Do you really need to ask? Well, alright. My ideal date is a man who stands strong, and can push through tribulation no matter how hard it may get. I'd like to think there's true love, yes. But it takes a lot longer than first sight for it to really grow. And I would have to say quality time, I think. ... I have no desire to speak on that at this time. ...'k then ...Ideal date? Oh, no, I'm already married. ...that's not exactly what the question w— As for the other questions... true love, not in the sense you likely mean. I don't think any two people are exactly made for each other. Though the bonds of love can become very strong if you let it. *adjusts glasses* No, I don't believe anyone can truly fall in love at first sight. As for my "love language"... hm. Acts of service, I think? Maybe quality time. ...My ideal date? Hm... Well, someone who's courteous and smart, I think! Mature, but with a good sense of humor. "True love" seems kind of iffy to me. I mean, you can really love someone, but... what exactly defines "true love"? Love at first sight is pretty silly, too. It takes time to build an actual relationship. And quality time, I think! Oh yeah, she'd totally have to be cute! A girl with a heart and a nice figure and I'm sold! Uh— And sure I believe in that! I'd do anything for my Janice~ And all of those are nice! ...can you pick just one Just one? Uhh... how about gifts? ...works for me Um... um... well, she has to be nice, I guess. Someone who cares about other people. And I don't know... true love and love at first sight sound kind of unlikely to me. I guess it's possible, though. And I'd have to say acts of service. I have no desire to pursue any romantic interests. ...can you at least— And of course I don't believe in such ridiculous concepts. ...how about love language *glances at the list* ... Acts of service, I suppose. *laughs* Ideal date? Well, a nice strong man, I suppose! Someone I could have a good conversation with. And yeah, there's true love, but it's something you have to work hard for and earn, not something you can get on first sight. And I think I'll say quality time! It's nice just sitting down and putting time aside for someone you care about. Crickets, what do you look for in an ideal date? Crickets: *chirp chirp!* ^_^ *chirp chirp chirp, chirp chirp chirp chirp* *chirp chirp, chirp chirp chirp!* *chirp chirp chirp...* ...
*purr* Me love you! Mwah! ...uh
i do not comprehend such human emotions. ...'k then

Whooo! I'll pick my two 'main' chareacters from my comics :3 They're animals, so don't mind their...'terms'.
Let's start with Maddy: -What would you look for in an ideal date? I never thought about this much, I believe I am idependant and can control my heart just fine, but in case I do fall in love I think it will be a funny, smart cheetah that can hunt well but enjoys some company while doing it...
-Do you believe in true love? Yep, that's something I'm sure of. -Do you believe in love at first sight? Ha, yeah. But I believe that happens thanks to the 'genes'. -What do you think your love language is? I'm still not sure what this is, but let's just say that touch kinda works for me...I like feeling safe. =3
Now it's Snowball's turn!
-What would you look for in an ideal date? Someone smart, calm, intresting...I must admit that mysterious females attract me. XD
-Do you believe in true love? Yeah, I've been through it! Love has no limits!
-Do you believe in love at first sight? *cough* Seen it. *cough*
-What do you think your love language is? ....Smell? I like perfume...
