Didn't I once say I had returned from the depths of darkness to do battle with you? My reasons may have changed, but the desire to test you has not died. *Turns to watch the match* *Watches the fight* She seems to be almost entirely a creature of fire… ... ...yes, so it would seem. Like Nick! Maya... *Smirks at Phoenix* You've really got yourself into a snare NOW, haven't you, Mr. Attorney? *Watches the fight carefully* I've seen similar techniques used before by monsters in Weyard…

((Oh, really? ... ...Yeah I'm not very knowledgable about Pokemon. XD; ))
Starla: *Just narrows her eyes a tiny bit at the comment before quickly diving out of the way of the flamethrower, though not before getting a bit singed.*
Starla: *As she lands, reaches her sword and stabs at Joan from below. (But not towards the heart.)*

That does it! *uses FIRE FANG!* ((You may be wondering where this move came from, seeing as it's not one of the three fire moves she's used in the past. I guess she used a TM pretty recently.))

I think techniques like that are pretty universal. Or... multiversal? I'm not sure. Is that even a word?

Multiverse is a word, though one usually only used in science fiction circles. *Studies* …This is reminding me very much of our fights with Fire-using monsters in Weyard. …Except that ours involved striking with Psynergy. Well, yes, of course.

Flinches at the attack at the burn goes through her arm.* Starla: *Still holding her arm up during the bite.* ("No... No you don't!") *Grasps her sword in her other hand and furiously goes for another stab, managing to aim towards the stomach.*

Wow... A lot of ending injuries for both sides... ---
Starla: ... 0_0 *Takes her sword out, takes her arm out of the fang, and backs away. Also removes the light.* Urngh... *Falls to knees.*
*Medics rush out onto the field and immediately starts healing the both of them, mainly Joan. One of them uses a Revive on Joan.*

And maybe we can have a rematch someday. Medic: The both of you should get to the after-battle area and wash up. Then meet in the lobby. Starla: Alright... *Goes down there.* *Not long later, Starla appears in the lobby.* ((I need a better name than "after-battle" area.))

Well… That was… interesting. …So… should we go see her and go back to the suburb, or is there going to be another match? I'm not sure. …Well, I don't think there will be another one tonight, unless new contestants show up suddenly…
