{In the stands} *watches interestedly* I'm still not really sure why you dragged us out to this. Dude, your friends are fighting. Why wouldn't you want to watch this? *munches on popcorn* ...and you're here why? Come on, it's a spectator sport. Why not?

You know that's not funny, Master Godot. You asked for it, Agent. *Dark wings unfold* Don't underestimate me. *Severs dark ropes by forming claws of light on the end of his fingers and slashing at them* And same to you! *Casts the claws off* GAH! *Hit in the left arm* *Glares* Tch. *Casts dark fire with his left hand and takes to the air* *Dodges* Oh, come on… You should have expected this, Agent Lang.

How is it not interesting. It's a battle of dark versus light. It's always fun to watch. ^^ Especially with their abilities.
Starla: Wow... I wonder how much energy those attacks take?
Hmm... Good question.
Starla: *Watching the battle.* ! Wait. This isn't a duel to the...
Oh no, don't worry, Starla; they'll be healed after the battle.

Why not? *Watching the battle interestedly* *Looking around* This place has filled up suddenly and very quickly. I guess it is quite popular to watch. {IN THE ARENA} *Crosses his arms and looks up at Godot* And how do you expect me to fight you from down here? I can't fly, you know. *Preparing a sphere of dark fire* I'm sure you'll think of something. Like what, shooting you from the sky? *Fires a bolt* *Dodges* Quite possibly, yes. *Casts dark fire* *Pivots aside* Okay then, you stubborn coffee addict. *Places sword in the sand and starts gathering small spheres of light in both hands* You asked for it.

*Glares* Tch. *Casts dark fire with his left hand and takes to the air* *Dodges* Oh, come on… You should have expected this, Agent Lang. Hey, you should learn to do that, Nick! It'd give you a great advantage! ...uh. Taking my jacket off in the middle of a battle would be rather tedious. Well then, you'd just take if off before then, silly! ... ...That would only work if you'd planned for the battle ahead of time, like for an arena duel such as this. It would be quite difficult in any real situation. Not if he stops hiding his wings all the time! Maya...

After all, it's a friendly duel, not a serious battle. They wouldn't want to exhaust themselves and they wouldn't want to seriously injure one another by scoring a hit, either. When did you get here? I've been here, silly. Now be quiet and watch. :U {IN THE ARENA} *Starts firing off the small light spheres* *Dodges the best he can, but still takes several hits* (I need to practice dodging shots while flying…) *Casts dark fire at Lang* *Dodges, raising up a barrier against those he couldn't dodge* Too slow, Godot. Grr… *Starts glowing with a black aura* *Darkness starts gathering over the field* *In the sense that the shadows are increasing, not that aggressive darkness is gathering* (…This isn't a good sign.)

Though in a pinch, I don't think tossing away your jacket would be that hard. ...Wait, Nick's is buttoned up all the time. Nevermind, I suppose. .oO(Not everyone has a jacket they can take off as easily as Portsman, I suppose...) I imagine they're not using powerful attacks. After all, it's a friendly duel, not a serious battle. They wouldn't want to exhaust themselves and they wouldn't want to seriously injure one another by scoring a hit, either. When did you get here? I've been here, silly. Now be quiet and watch. :U I see... Point taken. Starla: Interesting how their magics take shape into weapons... Oh, c'mon Starla, you've seen similar things before. Shadow wings, shadow weapons... Starla: But summoning them with your own magic? I've never heard of doing that... Well, different universes, different powers, Starla. You still have your light to create and manipulate. And you have a sword already. Starla: Still... *Continues to watch.* ...It's getting darker... Oh my... I think the battle's about to get much more interesting.

How is that possible? It's part of what Godot can do. As for why… you'll see any second now. {IN THE ARENA} *Fades into the shadows, vanishing from sight in the air* Blast it! *Looks around, tense* *About a minute passes* … …? *Takes off sunglasses and looks around* …Where did he go? *Three red lines suddenly appear BURNING in the darkness behind Agent Lang*

you know what it is i need to do i need to learn how to be creative with my fight scenes that's why they always suck Well, I understand your general battle strategy is "beat their face," so I guess I can see why. *suddenly remembers how she was playing a rogue on WoW and was basically just using Sinister Strike over and over, at which point dad came over and lectured her on how to sneak up on people and use stunning attacks and basically kill them before they get a chance to even hurt you* ...there could be a relation, yes

La historia aparte, es una técnica útil. I'll keep that in mind. *Blasts light against the darkness* *The darkness over the field shatters and lifts*

Ah, cunning cunning Godot...
Starla: Good reaction timing by... uh, him... though. If he had gotten that hit in, that would've been an easy way to gain the upper hand.
They're Lang and Godot, Starla. Lang is the one using light, Godot is the one using darkness.
Starla: Ah, okay... ("They both look odd... But I won't say that out loud.")
--- I'm not that good at writing fight scenes either, really... Mine are always: Char 1: *Dialogue!* *Attack!* Char 2: *Block/hit! Reaction. Attack back. Or an occasional block/attack combo.*
...I'm trying to get better. Really.

So are you saying I'm creative? :3 why yes, i am, aren't i *still watching* *munches on popcorn* why thanks {IN THE ARENA} *The darkness lifts to show Godot's holding a dagger of darkness in his other hand, holding it right next to Lang* *Rests the tip of the dagger lightly against Lang's jacket* You lose. *Looks down at the dagger resting above his heart* …point taken. (If that was real, he would have won.){IN THE STANDS} Well that was interesting. Why didn't Agent Lang use those kind of techniques? He doesn't know how. He hasn't been training constantly (quite literally) for several months like Godot has.
