That title works. And really, the project is kind of a rip off of something that other places do anyway. But as far as I know, it hasn't been attempted on the NTWF.
The summary: write a compliment/positive thing about other forum members. You'll receive a list of the things said about you (names removed). It's really rather simple.
The details: From now until July 1 (not a strict deadline), you can sign up for this project. After July 1, a list of names of participants will be posted. Everyone participating should go through that list and write something positive and complimentary about everyone else on that list. Do your best to come up with something positive to say, and say it. You'll then PM those to me, and I'll have other documents ready to go. After a deadline (I'll figure that out later... ), I'll send those out to the people who signed up (no usernames attached to the comments). Any compliments regarding me should be PM'd to a helper (to be determined) so that I also won't see what's been said/who's said it.
A few stipulations:
1) These HAVE to be positive. Not negative. Not confessions of hatred, etc. These are things you like about the person. And if you really can't think of anything good to say at all (surely you can find at least one thing), then skip the person.
2) Treat this seriously and respond seriously. Just don't say something like "I LOVE YOU AND WANT TO HAVE YOUR BABIES!" Put some thought into it and say something meaningful about the person.
3) Newer people, it may be more difficult to say things about you if we don't know you as well. So if you want to really have a good outcome from this, please be sure to get involved in the forum and the community.
4) If you don't know someone well enough to say something, try looking up their recent posts... or even contact them through an IM program to get to know them. Just put a little bit of research into it and you should be fine.
5) The deadlines are just to try to make it easy for coordinating, getting final lists out, etc. If it's reasonable, people can be added to the list late... just realize that not everyone may realize that people have been added, etc.
I think that pretty much covers it. So, let's start with the sign-ups.
