And now it's 2009 in another time zone.
EDIT: And on another note, I just remembered that Rescreatu goes down for awhile when their clock hits midnight.

Granted, I believe it was said that a new 'bloid should wait until there's a general consensus amongst people to make a new thread... not simply because it's a particular time at one particular spot or another.
On the other hand... what does it matter whether the new thread has been made or not?

Hm. *I* didn't overrate 2008 ._. I recognized it for the hideously crappy year it was (with the exception of Obamlet getting elected, that was pretty alright :3) and couldn't wait to be rid of it.
And now... it's 2009.
And...my nose hurts.
I hope we begin to make progress soon. *sits down and waits for the new year to begin*

What he said. Also, I was bored. The first one was kind of directed at the thread creator. ..So long as they're not rioting or anything, I don't see that it's really that big a deal. D: ..If they are rioting, I'm rather alarmed at how stealthy our riots have become.

D: ..If they are rioting, I'm rather alarmed at how stealthy our riots have become. It was a two point post. 1) New tabloid threads should be made when there's some consensus among people to create a new thread--not just because someone decides to make one (this was discussed when we got rid of the strict deadline) 2) If a new thread has been made, big deal. It doesn't matter in the end. But that doesn't mean point 1 should be ignored.
