Do you enjoy reading/writing in first, third, or even second person? Or one of the strange hybrids? Me personally I like to write in third person. First person is sorta awkward for me, because I have to pretend I'm that person, when I like writing about someone that I like. I like reading anything as long as it's done well. I remember reading a book that was sorta a hybrid between third and first person, it was a good read. There seems to be more stories written in third than first, though. Your opinion?

For writing, I usually write in the first person (there are some, but not many, that I have written in the third person). To me, I guess it's easier to write.
As for reading, I don't mind the third person or the first person

I usually write third-person, but I occasionally do a first-person story.

Most of the time, I write in third person because it's easier for me and I'm just so used to it... but I enjoy reading both first and third person. I don't remember reading anything in second person, but I bet I'd find that interesting too.

I prefer third person omniscient. Sometimes I switch to first person for a while though, to get even more inside the character's heads. :3

For me it depends on the story. If I can use first, I use first. If I need third, I use third. Of course there are always exceptions to the rules.

I normally write in third-person, but writing in first person is quite enjoyable as well. Normally when I write in third person it's still centred on one character (not sure of the exact term ^_^ ; when it's focusing on more than one character it tends to jump back and forth all over the place. Reading, I'm not too picky. I read more third person pieces, but that's because there's more out there. Haven't read much second person. I like first person, unless it's a diary. Don't really like those. And yeah. >.>;

I enjoy writing in both first and third person view, but I choose what fits best for a story. For example, if I am writing my own backstory, I'd choose the first-person view to amplify my persona's emotions. If I'm writing a story that consists of NTWFers, I'd choose the third-person view. It depends on the parts I want to amplify in my story.

Hmmm...
3rd person that sometimes sounds like 1st person. xD

I like writing in third person, but from the view of one person (same as Rikku, and, like Rikku, I'm unsure of the term for that). Anything I write in first person tends to go horribly wrong, and if I start shifting too much between viewpoints, particularly in shorter stories, I get confused when I read through it again - although I've seen stories when it's been done excellently.
Readingwise, I'm not too fussed about how the story is presented. First, third, second - as long as it's written well, I don't have a preference.

I read a book in second person once. Found it very, very strange and am sorry to say I gave up on it pretty quick.
I like reading either third or first, especially first person for books that are peoply (er, about what someone goes through in life. Jodi Picoult-ish). Recently I keep coming across books that switch between the two. I nearly always write in third.

I like writing in third person, but from the view of one person (same as Rikku, and, like Rikku, I'm unsure of the term for that). According to the not-always-trustworthy Wikipedia, it's called third person limited. I think I use what is says about a narrower perspective. (Excuse my posting again)

I actually found it quite refreshing.

Third, usually... unless I'm actually doing something from my perspective, of course. ...second? o.O

I almost always write in third person. The two exceptions were "A Letter From Zoing the Mutant Yooyu" and "The Golden Globes of Light".
