I can't remember the name of it, but it was about this little old lady who lived in this tiny little house with a ton of animals, like birds and cats and dogs and even a goat in the backyard. But thing is, she couldn't afford to feed them all.
And then one day a lion shows up on her doorstep and she can't just turn it away 'cause she always takes the animals in, so she starts taking care of it and whenever it gets uppity she scolds it, and she gives it a bath and puts a little bow in his mane.
And then at the end of the book the circus man comes looking for the lion and sees it all meek eating tuna out of this tiny little bowl beside a bunch of cats the size of his foot in this little old lady's house. So they hire her as the new lion trainer, and from then on she has enough money to feed all her animals and all the lions come over to her house every weekend to play.
I loved it a lot^^
There was also this one my uncle Steve gave me, How the Robin got its Red Breast, this old native American folk tale where it fans a dying fire to save the people in the cave. I started really liking those stories after that one. I think the funniest one has to be the dogs and the coyote XD

My first favorite book is one that a donkey enters a contest, and accidentally eats a woman's hat, but at the ends he wins, or something...Also, it had a game that you needed to 'Find the Ducks' I used to read that book over and over again xD I was 6 and rememebr reading tha I thought of posting here, because our teacher had on her coat 'I found a duck' sister(the one there is in the book xD) and she told us it was from her son's book; and flashback occurred!

I remember a book where there was always a duck hidden in each page.. it showed different scenes and words for everything, like colors, body parts, clothes, stuff in a house... I completely forgot about that book. I liked that one.
