I heard about that to. It will be a total of 56 episodes or something, with two seasons total. Which is really like the original, 4 seasons/books. They're just trying to make it a bit more complicated XD

Yup. Basically, the network considers a "season" to be 26 episodes, so that's why Books 1 and 2 are Season 1 and Books 3 and 4 are going to be Season 2. Bryan said something on his Tumblr to the effect of that being why he prefers people refer to each part of the series as a "Book" rather than a "Season". Also, lots of new info was revealed about Book 2 at Comic Con. From what I remember reading about off the top of my head: - Book 2 will be called Spirits. I think everyone saw that coming. - It'll start in the South Pole six months after the Book 1 finale with some kind of festival. The Southern Water Tribe has apparently grown a lot since A:tLA. - Korra's uncle and twin cousins will be introduced. Her uncle is Tonraq's (Korra's father) brother. He's also the chief of the Northern Water Tribe. - Kya and Bumi will have roles. Kya's been described as a hippie and her favorite song is "Secret Tunnel". XD She also has a good relationship with Jinora. - Mako is a cop now. - Pro-bending will return. Bolin is the new captain of the Fire Ferrets and presumably has two new team members. - Asami is the new CEO of Future Industries. Apparently she's going through a rough time with it, considering that it's public knowledge over what kind of a person her father was now. She also gets to pilot a plane. - Bolin has a new friend whose name I forget. I've seen pictures of him and he is FABULOUS. One of his outfits has a bright purple cape. - Korra is letting her new-found ability to go into the Avatar State go to her head. She apparently uses it to win in a air scooter race, which doesn't make Tenzin happy to see her use it for frivolous things like that. - Last but not least, there are these freaky spirit things with glowing patterns for faces. I guess one of them ends up chasing Korra and pinning her down at one point.

! It will be fun to learn more about the Spirit World in the -bending 'verse. Very intriguing so far. Yay! Return of the librarian! And Avatar stuff. We only got glimpses, really, but still. I think I like the bug-bunny things.

Ooh, cool trailer. =D The visuals are lovely. (Some spoilers that aren't directly from the trailer) I'm really curious about the episodes about the first Avatar. I hope those are done well. And I've wanted to see how Korra handles the Spirit World for a while; hopefully it'll be interesting!

I managed to get my uncle into The Legend of Korra. He's convinced that Tarrlok is Amon. Next episode to watch is Episode Nine, and I can't wait to see his reaction to it. XD

So, who else is excited for the book 2 of The Legend of Korra? =D A couple days ago, I saw Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzo post on tumblr that it premieres on Friday, September 13th, so less than a month now!

Reviving this thread with thread bending The finale for Legend of Korra season 2 was amazing I felt sad seeing all the past lives of the Avatar disappearing D': I hope Korra is able to reconnect with them somehow. I also hope this isn't the end of the Avatar universe, I really loved being able to see it again :'D

And yeah, they're supposed to get 2 more seasons.
