Longtime Neopian, newbie writer says hello

Hello all.

I've been playing Neopets off and on for a couple years. I'm hardly an expert but I do enjoy retreating to the Neopia universe.

I'd love to try my hand at writing for the Times but I've yet to submit anything. I'm working on something and hope that my visits here will help me develop creative writing skills.

Random fact: Of all the plots, I love 'The Hannah and the Ice Caves' one best. Anyone remember those days?

I was going to try and submit a story featuring Kanrik, Hannah and Armin but I'm not sure a lot of new players would be familiar with the characters. It may reduce my chances of being accepted but I think I'll try anyway. Once it's done, that is.

HatIC was indeed a great plot. *nods* And I don't think writing about it would hurt your chances any. If you were concerned about new players not understanding it, you could just try to avoid assuming people know all the plot points. You know, explain out everything that needs explaining, and it should be fine. Hannah is quite the cool chara, after all. :3
