Cool, Sirius! ^^ WRITEMOREWRITEMORE - *THWACK'D* Why do I have the feeling I'm responsible for this? Not the morbidity part (is that a real word?) but the NTWF part.

To quote Crystal (I think it was Crystal): Kiddo always gets it. Anyway, these are really amusing while at the same time very very morbid.

[glow=red,2,300]Not a bad story, despite the fact that I make an idiot of myself 5 seconds into it. I wonder if anyone in these murder mysteries ever heard of a lovely invention called Phoenix Down. [/glow]

Kinda short chapter...
Four Narrowing Down the Suspects
Over the next few days, the administrators interrogated and dismissed most of the forumers. But, soon, they were down to a large group that they were sure the killer was in. Patjade gathered up the group in the Times Lobby, which was nearly deserted with all the people sent home, and started to read of the names of the ones who were there. “Sirius, Eri, Christinetran, Carrie, Hu, Blubbeh, Stalos, Nick, Playmobil, Guy, Tdyans, Ginger, Patrick, Will, Kat, Rider, Apollo, Snarkie, Fj0rd, Sims, Ery, Wolf, and Nina. Sorry if you didn’t do it but you will be kept under tight surveillance. Every one of you has something about you that we deemed as a motivator or opportunity. We will dismiss you as we see needed.”
As everyone left the room, nervous glances were exchanged. Thoughts raced through peoples heads – what if someone you knew was the killer? Would you be the next victim? Most everybody retired to their rooms with friends, while a select few stayed out in the hallway, leaning against the darkly painted walls. Tdyans came around continiously, checking on everyone. If anyone looked even the least bit shifty or suspicous, they’d be taken aside and questioned. The forum was in total silence.
The next day, the killer struck yet again. This time, the news came over the loudspeaker, with Tdyans’ voice on the other end. “More of our own have been murdered. This time the killer has taken multiple victims lives, endangering us even more than before. The ways that these two people were murdered were...interesting, to say the least. It shows that the killer is getting craftier and may start mass murdering the forumers here. Please pay your respects to your fallen comrades...” She was silent for a moment. “...Snarkie and Ginger.”
Some of the rooms were filled with gasps and sobs while others were silent, not taking to the fact that two more people had been killed. Shocked, the whole hall stayed almost hushed, only broken by Tdyans continuing her speech. “Respects can be paid in the Times Lobby in approximately thirty five minutes. Please, try to be there.”
Thirty five minutes later, a crowd of people were awaiting the funeral outside closed wooden doors. A few seconds later, the doors slammed open, banging against the wall. Two coffins were laid at the far end of the room and a small stage was set up to observe the bodies better. The lot of people moved slowly foward in a line, heads bowed or looking ahead. As each of them passed, some cried, some nodded, and some simply passed on, not wanting to view their dead friends.
A few words were said by both Tdyans and Patjade and everyone was dismissed from the Lobby quietly. Shock filled some, while others were softly crying or loudly sobbing. But, in one persons mind, they were picking out their next victim...

(Warning: Some mild language and violence in this part. Nothing serious, though.)
Five Killer Strike
“Holy hell!” came a loud shout from down the hall. Members came rushing out of their rooms, stretching their necks to see what was happening. Tdyans pushed and rushed past the other members to the front of the crowd. Covered in blood was Ery and Stal, a pistol nearby. Everyone stared in shock, unable to utter a word.
Soon, when the shock had worn off, Tdyans stepped up to address them all. “Others have perished. Our friends. Our companions. And one of us is killing them. I have found no clues as of yet, but I must say this: we will be locking you in your rooms from now on, hoping to put an end to the horrible deaths here. Please, return to your rooms and we will bring food around, as well as padlock you in. Anyone who is not in their rooms when we come around will be taken and locked up. Sirius, Blub, can you please take these bodies to an empty room?”
Two figures stepped up and heaved Ery’s body up, slowly walking down the hall. Everyone else returned to their rooms’, leaving the two alone as they went to pick up Stalos’ body. As they were bring it down the hall, Blubbeh dropped his feet, causing the body to crash to the floor.
“What was that?” he said, looking around nervously.
“What was what?” replied Sirius, starting to bend down to pick up the head again. “It’s probably nothing – just your nerves.”
Blubbeh smiled weakly. “Yeah...must be that,” he said and heaved up the legs, continuing down the hall.
After the two put the body in the room, Sirius closed the door behind him and started to walk back to his room when he stopped. There was an absence of a second pair of footsteps. He swung his head back and saw no one. Where had Blub gone? “Blub?” Sirius called out, walking back to where he had been before? “Where are you?” He started to walk farther down the hall when he heard a soft pattering. He stopped and looked around, then continued to move foward.
Pattering. There it was again. Footsteps...
“Blub?” Sirius yelled again, frantically. “Where the heck did you go? Blub?!?”
No one answered...
“Blub?”
Silence.
“Blub?”
“Shut up.”
Sirius quickly whirled around and gasped. A man with a cape on and a mask covering his face held a knife up to Blub’s throat threateningly.
“You talk and I’ll slit him up.”
Sirius stayed silent and held his hand up cautiously. “C’mon, settle down now...just let him go. We can work this out. I’ll give you whatever you want...”
The knife dug deeper into the hostages’ throat. “I said shut up,” the killer said viciously. “Put your hand down and stand up straight. Watch your friend die...”
He followed order, standing up and putting his hand down. “Why are you doing this?” Sirius asked.
“Because I can.”
Sirius was silent for a moment. “Who are you?”
“Don’t ask stupid questions. You’ve wasted three seconds of my life. Now I’ll waste three seconds of yours,” the killer said sarcastically and then whispered something into Blubbeh’s ear. He quickly brought the knife down and onto Blubbeh’s hand, making a deep cut into one finger. But he didn’t stop there. He started to dig deeper, Blub holding his lip, which was now also starting to bleed. Then, the finger fell to the ground and Blub kneeled down in excruciating pain, yet still not making a noise. “What the hell did I say to you?” the killer yelled, directing it towards Blub. “I said don’t make any movement or sound. And what did you do?”
Blubbeh didn’t answer. He had his head against his knee, blood spurting onto the floor.
“AND WHAT DID YOU DO?” the killer shouted.
“I...” he said with extreme difficulty. “...I...I...I moved.”
“Yes, you did,” the killer said and suddenly jerked Blubbeh up, diving the knife deep into his stomach and twisting it around.
“NO!” Sirius screamed, diving down toward the knife.
The knife was pulled out of Blubbeh’s stomach by the killer and, as Blub dropped to the floor, the blood covered knife was pointed at Sirius. “You take one step closer or make one more noise, you’ll be next. And I won’t make it easy...”
