My advice to guys: if a girl you like says call her, CALL HER! Being shy isn't a good reason for ignoring someone. And guys need to be understanding. One time I broke into tears over something and a guy I like just freaked and deserted me. I don't talk to him any more.

Woah, I just read through this whole thread . . . sounds like y'all have been having an interesting conversation! Okies, here's my two cents . . . but first, Advice to all girls: I know this may make some people unhappy, but this is the first thing that came to mind and it always seems to get under my skin! NO MAKEUP! Really! I'm serious! I can't possibly tell you how much of a turn-off this is! I mean, really! This stuff does not make you look better! Really, it dosen't! Trust me, if you're good looking already, you don't need make-up. If you're ugly already, make-up will do you no good. Just don't use it! Buddy, I couldn't agree more! My mom has been trying to get be to wear make-up for a LONG time, but the most progress she's been able to make is me wearing it for performances with a lot of lighting. That's it. Okies, for tha girls: MODESTY is a good thing! I can't stand seeing girls going around wearing teeny tiny spegetti shirts with their bellies displayed for all to see. And then there's these hip huggers . . . I mean, do you all LIKE having your underwear show every time you sit down? I don't know how many female cracks I've seen 'cause of those stupid pants. It's not cool. Don't go by the saying, 'If you've got it, flaunt it'. Most girls I see are trying to flaunt something they don't have anyway. Cover 'em up, ladies! For tha guys: Tell us what you think. Seriously. Guys are wired differently from females, so we don't always see how a piece of clothing could be immodest. If I were wearing something that was immodest in any way, I would want someone to tell me. Don't go after the girls who dress like trash. Befriend them, yes, but don't boyfriend them. If you're looking for a virtuous gal who will be faithful, you won't find one there. --------------------- Anywho, that's my wee bit. I'm not allowed to have a boyfriend anyhow, so I may not be much use on this subject. My family believes in courting. And yes, if a boy kissed me, I'd punch his lights out. My first kiss to a guy other than my father or brothers belongs to my husband on our wedding day. If you kiss me, you just kissed another man's wife!! Oh - my idea of the perfect 'date'? BRING ON THE PAINTBALL, BABY!!! Then, we can go hog down some wopping huge burgers and greasy fries (with TONS of ketchup, of course) and yak about books, movies, and everything inbetween.

Some of the nicest girls I know dress like sluts. One of the few girls who didn't try to grab the butts of the rap group that came to school the other day wears the most revealing clothes she can slip through school policy. The class president dresses like that too. They're wonderful people in just about every way - they just have a low resistance to peer pressure. Advice for guys: Don't ever, EVER call your girlfriend "dude." Trust me. you DON'T want to go there.

I've never worn makeup in my life, other than one halloween and for school plays, and the most revealing things I've ever worn is a t-shirt and shorts ^_^ And that was at P.E. I wouldn't mind if my boyfriends (If I had one, that is) called me dude

To the guys : Girls generally don't like boys who are prettier than them. Hot, yes. Pretty, no. Holding doors actually helps, believe it or not. Girls sometimes chose the nicer boy over the hotter one... generally speaking, of course.

Average looking is fine with me.

Advice to girls: When you're at a dance, don't ask us to dance with you unless you like us. I have been asked several times to dances by girls who have implied many times that they not only don't like me, but dispise me.
