Heh okay, I draw with paint for all my pictures. Yet paint isn't very flattering when your trying to draw a nice picture..yet I've downloaded the free paint shop pro 7 on previous computers but never understood how to use it properly...so is there any other downloadable/testable program that is easy to use? Or maybe an easy tutorial to psp?

PSP7 is a very easy and great program to use...unfortunately, when it comes to tutorials on PSP7, there are very little to none.

OpenCanvas is quite good for coloring, it has layers! but the only thing to color with are watercolors and pencils... And thers a blur thing and a eraser. artofdreams.free.fr/tutorials/tips_oc1.htmthats the freeware version, you can read the stuff to know some more stuff about it ^_^

To be honest, why don't you try drawing by hand? The art programs will improve your art to some degree, but I've always found the best results in paper or tablet. Use the programs for colouring. If you can't afford anything else, I recommend GIMP... it's a simple program, not as good as Photoshop and PSP, perhaps, but it has layers, and is simple and quite easy to use. There should be a few tutorials around. Scanners are fairly cheap nowadays. I draw all my stuff by hand, all it costs is the scanner, pencil lead, rubber and paper, and you can draw anywhere.

Or maybe an easy tutorial to psp? I found a Paint Shop Pro 7 downloadable tutorial put out as trialware from the makers of PSP7-- JASC. Here it is: www.jasc.com/cdfiles.aspProduct Tour [30 MB] This tour covers the Paint Shop Pro basics. Download the tour for straightforward lessons on editing photos, painting, drawing, and creating Web graphics.

I used OpenCanvas before. Then the trial ran out. its freeware the freeware isnt on OpenCanvas website anymore. Drawing with the hand is actually alot better than the computer. you could take pictures of overflying birds, and use the picture as a reference picture. Draw how you want to draw.
