Reading the NT that is. We all had to get hoked at some point...Which issue was the first you ever read? Anything about it make it memorable?
My first read was somewhere between 100-130 [specific eh?] Most of what I remember is that all I read was the comics and to this day i carry that tradition. Instantly Pooh was my favorite author along with Tomi. It took me awhile to catch up to a Stone fagirl since that issue included 'About Why I don't apear in this comic'...

I started reading the NT somewhere between Issue 70-90 The little 'Blumaroo sitting on the sofa and reading the NT' button was on the yellow siderbar, so I clicked on it. I went straight to the stories section, and just looked at the pictures ( ), I then clicked on a picture on the NT sidebar on the right, and it took me to the comic section. I have been hooked to the NT ever since. ^^

Well okay. I just recently got obsessed with the N.T (155) but I first read it Issue one. Not the auctual first issue, but if you go to the old neopian times, the first one on their archives. I only read the comics back then though. I think I auctually may have read before then, but I can't be sure. Not the old old, but the one with the artical about the fruit machein(sp?).

Late 50s, early 60s.
However, I've searched past issues to read things published before that. I've read quite a few of the Al the Chia stories, all the Moo Strip and Poor Dr_Death comics and most of "As Told by Child_Dragon".

The very first time I read the Neopian Times was issue 4. I kept reading because of a story.

When there was like... 3 comics (if any at all!)... And that was all I read as well, the comics were my favorite. Just like in the real newspaper.

Um...I think I started reading it at the end of June 2002 so probably about...actually, I don't know, since on the New Features, it didn't say what issue it was...

Week 27.
And sadly enough, few NTWFers can beat that as far as going back....
But almost all have more than my 9 trophies. XD
EDIT -- Oh read, not published.
Read-wise, probably week 20 of the "new NT"

Hmm... *thinks* Oh my. That must've been around issue 68, I think. I knew I read that guy's guide to making NP and Kat's crazy wishing stick article. And after that, I read Dear Roxy...
Yeah, I know. I got published way later... But only if the whole incident with the article never happened.. *sighs* Oh well.

First thing I ever read was one of Steff's articles (I think). She's been one of my favorite authors ever since. It had a Cybunny in the picture and if I remember correctly it was reading the Times. I also remember the first time I neomailed an author (Steff), but that's getting off topic.

Aww..thats nice of you to say that. *feels fuzzy* The first thing I read was one of Leb388's articles I think. Or it may of been informally one of my friend's Potebrigitte's submissions as she was my guild leader at the time.

I got hooked on the cheesy neos, dr_death and sheep of doom
so I guess that was around the 30s and 40s. I just used to read the comics and maybe one article a week.
The comics are still the first things I read. But now I also read articles and stories.
