I'm not going to put this in a banter board, because it's hardly worth bantering about... but I have to go to a parent-teacher meeting on Friday.
I'm not a horrible student, I'm going only because I was stupid enough to speak my mind in class. (I went on a German trip, German teacher basically a bad guide, and I wrote about it in an evaluation form, German teacher not happy)
I'm scared to death. I don't want to loose my head and just start yelling at her, but it's one of those situations where you just KNOW that you're right... maybe..
Anyways, any advice? Anything would be nice...

well, when it's your turn with your german teacher, distract your mind with anything, a song, a memory, anything that you know that will keep you away from him, and try to not to see him. just try to not to be so "far away" if your parents ask you something.
hope it helps ;D

Well don't yell, it will just make you seem...err...childish? Instead point out the illogic of her ways ((If it comes down to that)). Listen to her too and try not to argur to much! Also if you think you can't handle not saying/saying something then just stay quiet. ^_^ Or just don't go

Well getting told off for speaking your mind is silly in my opinion. If people didn't speak their minds then it would cause a whole lot more trouble believe me. Go to the parent-teacher meeting and just be calm. If you go angry then your teacher will see this and think badly of you. Listen to what she has to say first and then talk to her and tell her that you are sorry you hurt her feelings but in the end you were only speaking your mind, what you thought was the right thing to do. I hope this helps.

And if you start getting angry or nervous then just breath in and out slowly. It helps relax your stomache and your brain works better when focused on what you need to focus on rather than how nervous or upset you are. You may want to tell your parents ahead of time what you think isn't right about your teacher. I found that they have a better understanding this way.

Thanks! (takes a deep, calming breath) My mom seems to be on my side... so... yeah. Hopefully it will go okay.
