I was just talking about my experiences in Japan with someone in another forum. They were asking me about the language barrier, and it just reminded me of something I thought some of you might get a kick out of. How NOT to write: www.engrish.comAnd yes, I've actually submitted to this site before.

Heh, I've seen that site before-- hours of fun. Now just wonder what all of those Chinese/Japanese symbols that they put on American clothing nowadays really say... EDIT: Funny that I had a grammatical error in my post about Engrish.com

lol, Actually, there was one guy walking around in L.A. with the Chinese symbol for 'Kitchen' tattooed on his arm...I'm assuming that wasn't deliberate, but you never know, he might have been a chef.

I've even seen bits of Engrish in my own neighborhood. In some photo-developing shop, they were selling bargain-priced yo-yos which said something like "Make much happy time" as their catch-phrase

Yeah, some kid in my school was walking around with a shirt that had the japanese symbol for 'fish' on it... Oddly enough the shirt was decorated with a bunch of samurai. ^__^;;
