OK, Mark my words--TRENYCE, CLAY, JULIA, OR JOSHUA WILL TAKE IT ALL! MY BETS FOR WHO WILL ACTUALLY WIN?
1. Trenyce 2. Joshua 3. Clay 4. Julia
(Soooooooooooo, if Trenyce loses, Joshua will win.....)

Who cares, I'm content as long as Simon is there. ^_^
Anyways, I do hope Clay or that other girl (the one who sang "somewhere over the rainbow") will win. They don't have the perfect image, but that's why I like them so much...
The skinny rapper and the hairdresser are just godawful. I hope they get booted off first. e_e;
Also, does anyoen else get this weird Micheal Jackson vibe from that scary kid with the weird hair (I think his name is Corey, dunno..). I hate him, he's such a suck up. >P Ugh, he forgot his words and then he tries to cover it all over... Jerk...

Blech, Trenyce? Well, to each his own, I guess. No offense, I'm just not very fond of her, although I know from the last AI that my opinion could change once I see more of her. As for me, my top five picks right now would be:
Clay Ruben Joshua Kimberly That girl with the pink hair-- forgot her name.
Those aren't really in any particular order... although I would be really pleased if Clay won. But I'd be happy if any of them won because they all have amazing voices, and I like the fact that (with the possible exception of Joshua) none of them necessarily fits into the "image" of a pop star-- they're refreshingly unique, and I'd love to see someone judged on the basis of their talent more than their "look," which does seem to be happening more this time around, thankfully.

I don't watch it; I hate reality type shows like that. I hear enough of it when Entertainment Tonight is on and everyone in the house is too lazy to turn off the TV, so we all overhear it against our wills.

I'm sorry but reality shows are pretty sick. It's so pointless, because you KNOW things aren't real. It's very degrading acting.

People vote, and you really can't tweak that voting...e_e Sure, you coul argue that the show changes who wins and is booted off. However, the winner recives a recording contract. I doubt very much that Simon would let the show tamper with the results, therefore giving him someone that no one would listen to (and a dent in his checkbook worth about $1,000,000)Back on topic now. ^_~ Kimberley is hopefuly the one who wins, or at least gets second place. I've always thought it was a tie between her, Clay and Ruben. They are just such wonderful singers, and the best thing about them is that they are not the sterotypical popstar.... Julia and Kimberly (I think that's her name, she got through on Randy's vote with teh wild card) aree both annoying. I hate them both. Julia can't sing and has this godawful catty aura, and so does Kimberly (but she at least can sing).

YOU DON'T LIKE TRENYCE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! She reminds me a lot of Tamyra, but of course, she has her own style too. I voted for her twice on her first go-round, even though it was the first I saw of her. I just loved her so much! Joshua is cool, and so is Ruben. I don't care for either Kimberly, except for the one that DIDN'T make it...ARGH! As my mom says: "Most of the kids this year just can't take criticism!" And I think it was reflected in Kimberley Locke (the one who sang "Over the Rainbow"). Simon's cool, back off He tells it like it is, and 99.9% of the time he is right! I like Julia, too...but I don't really care for Clay. It's not like I hate him, but there are people I would rather see come before him. Here is my list: 1. Trenyce 2. Joshua 3. Ruben 4. Vanessa (the one with the pink hair) 5. Julia I'm sure I left someone out...oh well I am an American Idol FREAK, just to let you know. Last year, I would actually run around the house screaming over it...one of those cases was when Tamyra went Bye-bye and therefore Nikki, who I despised very much, was in a higher place than her. I was SO happy when Kelly won, though...Justin gave me nightmares

Kimberly. That Somewhere Over the Rainbow girl...*shudders*...I HATE HER! And that pink haired girl just got through by mooning Simon. That Hercules dude is just WEIRD.

Carmen, in my mind, wasn't all that great, but since I wasn't really paying attention to the looks who knows. I hate the "Over the Rainbow" girl too...

But she did great in New York (first audition) apparently, so she can do it again! She's even better looking than Kelly Clarkson. I guess Vanessa is alright, but I doubt she wouldn't have gotten so many votes (first in her group!) if it wasn't for the whole butt thing. But yeah, that girl is annoying. She sang that song for all three auditions. I wonder if that's all she can sing!

It's kind of like how Jim Verrarros last year got by with just singing "When I Fall in Love" every time, and people finally got tired of it...

I think she was doing it more in a playful tone, she wasen't being serious. Simon knew it was a joke (I noticed that he was smiling and laughing, and she even gave him a high five). She wasen't ripping him to shreds, dun worry. ^_~ Now, this OTHER girl (iIbelive she was in round 4) just was god awful and all of the judges were explaning to her how she pretty much didn't really do all that well. She was all high and mighty on the premise of "Yeah, well you all better know MY NAME cause I'm gonna be famous!". If you can't take critisem, this isn't the bussiness for you. That girl really angered me... I can't remeber who she was, but all I know is that her catty appearance really annoyed the heck out of me...

There was like three of them! They really are just a bunch of little bithces, and the way people clap for them... *shudders* I guess Kimberly wasn't being that bad, but she didn't have to say that his personality was a zero. I'd say 4...but of course, that's just me.

I'm sorry but reality shows are pretty sick. It's so pointless, because you KNOW things aren't real. It's very degrading acting. I really wouldn't call American Idol a "reality show"-- not in the same vein as Big Brother, Survivor, Joe Millionaire, The Bachelor, or anything like that. It's a pretty genuine talent show-- you can't really be fake when you're singing (well, you can, since singing is an act, but I think you get what I mean). Yes, Simon probably exaggerates his "mean" personality for ratings-sake (although I think he really does feel that way most of the time, he's just very, very honest about it). Yes, sometimes they have cheesy little spots where the kids are sitting around a campfire singing or washing a car together, always with strategically-placed coca-cola bottles and Ford Focuses. But the main focus of the show is on people performing-- not people interacting or choosing mates or anything like that, although the cameras have followed them around town a bit. To quote Matt Roush: "It's cruel and voyeuristic. But unlike most of the flotsma of this season of reality overkill, Idol is great TV." I think the contestants this time around, since it's now a well-known show rather than something that hasn't ever happened before, certainly do have bigger heads about all of this. Last year they were all fairly humble, while these guys seem to have thought from the beginning that making it past even one round made them the greatest singers in the world. But, that's entertainment...
