Currently my story, Shoes, has been held over for nearly a month now. ^^; Should I resubmit, or wait on it a little more and expect some sort of neomail within a couple of days? xP

*curious* Is it possible to get the held-over mail and still get into that week's edition?
My issue-400 comic got held over yesterday... wondering if that means it can still actually get into issue 400 or not lol

Sorry if it's been asked before, but if you're rejected after being held over, you'll still get a rejection letter, right? Mine's been held over (as of today), and I'm still nervous...

Same here. I have a heldover for more than a month for one comic and 3 weeks for another one. Should I resubmit them?

I'm going on four weeks now, but I'm not really worried. If it doesn't get in by the week of the chocolate ball, then I'll think of resubmitting.
EDIT: It's been six weeks now and my Chocolate Ball related series has been accepted for this week. Hooray! Droplet timed it perfectly.

They always wait about a month to publish mine, and I have 5 held over at the moment. Will they publish in a burst, or wil they try and space it out?

I think my comic is now held over for about 5 weeks... I wish they would give me at least a proper response.

My newest series finally got in after all those "too many good entries" rejections but has now been held over for two weeks, and I'm starting to wonder if the rejections are ruining my chances. I know I'm spoilt, but what do you expect from someone who's never been held over more than a week before the acceptance letter shows up? It doesn't help that there's some potentially controversial stuff in that story...

My comic has been held over for about 5 days now. Hearing that they can be held over for weeks doesn't make me too hopeful. :/ I hope I get a response sometime soon.

Well, as you may know, my held over series is in. So I'm pleased, and so should you be. Don't give up hope, they seldom lose them.

Thank you for submitting to the Neopian Times. Currently your submission (Pirate Letters) is being held over and may be considered for future publication in the Neopian Times. There is no need to submit your submission again, as it is saved by the editor.
I had to take out the wedding refrence, even though it appeared in Curse of Maraqua (I said that the bride and groom was Hannah and Karnik in the original). But I'm glad I got it in the NT.

I have a question - I submitted a comic and it was heldover for a few weeks and then I got a TMGE neomail. I've resubmitted the comic again (as it was) because I don't know how I could edit it any further - does my comic have a chance of getting in? Or is the fact that it was rejected after being heldover mean I have a lower chance of being heldover again? :/

Does TMGE translate to Too Many Grammatical Errors? Sorry, lol.
And it may have been heldover for further review but was ultimately decided not a good choice? I'm not exactly sure. You should neomail nt_editor and ask.
