I just noticed in this week's Neopian Times that someone has named antiaircraft_3 as a continuing series while someone called antiaircraft has a New Series. The names are different and some people do have similar names, but having two so similar in the same week of the Neopian Times is a little weird for me.
What do you guys think?

That's not all that's the same:
-Guild: both are in a guild by the name of Underwater Spirits -AC records: both joined AL for AC II, switched to MQ for the rest of the ACs -Both have their location set as Malaysia (though that isn't much of a point here)
I suppose this could be a coincidence (the odds are like, one in several billion) but I highly doubt it...

That is our member Midtime, as well as his brother. You can see them talking back and forth here in the comments as AA and AA3. I guess it's possible that he's one user with multiple personalities, but I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

*stumbles in* Oh cool, there's a thread about me! Yes indeed, antiaircraft and antiaircraft_3 are the two different writer sides to my personality (you can see the significant difference in their writing styles), so I have taken the liberty of allowing my second, fantasy-oriented personality its own accounts around the Internet. Rest assured, I'll make every effort to ensure that this does not detract from the quality of either writer.

Exactly what gives you the right to say that? We are in every way completely separate people. I can see you sitting beside me at your lap-top, laughing to yourself. We are not even the same age!
Besides, you will find I have been writing for the Neopian Times significantly longer than AA has, and further that I no longer use the similar name of antiaircraft_3, which I only took on for sheer lack of imagination in the first place.

Enough of your nonsense Midtime. Get back to the writing corner of my head. I've just finished working on one series, so now it's your turn to get one out. Of course you can see me sitting beside you on my laptop, laughing to myself. That is something known as a mirror. And aren't you aware that different personalities can emerge and fade at different times? Not to mention that they can evolve and develop different tastes for writing at different times. Besides, Mei here has very kindly undertaken the research to supply everyone with irrefutable evidence that we are the same person: That's not all that's the same: -Guild: both are in a guild by the name of Underwater Spirits -AC records: both joined AL for AC II, switched to MQ for the rest of the ACs -Both have their location set as Malaysia (though that isn't much of a point here) I suppose this could be a coincidence (the odds are like, one in several billion) but I highly doubt it...

How many mirrors have you seen that reflect you walking around while I'm sitting down? At right angles, too! - and further, I've hardly been active in the guild at all; my AC score has never bested yours once, and if memory serves I never joined AC III; and the very fact you have had to resort to another person's evidence to stay up your point adds to my argument.
It's no trouble, Mel - he's only having his fun. Don't listen to a word...

Apologies for the misspelling Mel - Midtime must have been distracting me to detract from my argument. Just ignore him, he likes pretending that he's his own independent person. He even wants a second computer so he can operate it by himself with one hand. Midtime, you do realise that you can angle mirrors right? They're a very common illusion tool (come to think of it, wasn't it you that put that mirror there in the first place?). And stop talking nonsense about your guild and AC activity. The guild is private, so you can't cite that as evidence, and besides, it's perfectly viable for separate personalities to have different levels of involvement in the same events. Citing external sources is a well-established scientific activity. You should know better than to criticise it. I cite, for reference, a review by Colin A. Ross on a critique of the general diagnosis of Disassociative Identity Disorder, DOI 10.1080/10538710902743982. Go educate yourself.

The mirror was purely hypothetical from the start; there isn't one.
Were we the same person I'd have no need to do so, for I'd have read all that you had. And I don't believe either of us are experiencing any of the other common symptoms of DID, let us say, depersonalisation, derealisation, loss or distortion of time, and amnesia. I should hardly be typing half as fast as I am if I was using one hand, and neither could you - besides, it's hardly common for more than one personality to be active at once. Only one is ever in control of the body - that is the main reason for the loss of time.

Find your citations for DID on the corresponding Wikipedia article - which you would have known I'd been looking at otherwise. I've read that multiple times before.
As for one-handed typing, how many bananas have you eaten while typing rôleplay posts?
