Gah, I just remembered that I have two things held over and another item submitted (before I stumbled across this thread). Do you think that'll interfere with my comic getting accepted? Should I request that it get priority over the other things? *frets* Because with something this specific, it won't work as well if it's not in the same issue as all of you guys. But, I'm in the process of coloring it right now. ^^ I'm quite pleased that I actually came up with a semi-decent comic idea all on my own.

Special issue submissions usually take priority over everything else, especially in the case of something like this, where you don't really get a chance to aim at another issue, so as long as you send it in early enough, Droplet will probably take it into consideration.

Whew, thanks Hunty. ^^ I was really worried that it wouldn't get in because of that, and it's basically unusable otherwise. But, I've got all the panels done and colored, now I just have to put them together and think of a name for the comic.

Please post a brief topic to go with your name. Be sure to submit early!I'm doing a comic on the Yurble Janitor with various jobs at the school, including janitor, lunchlady, counselor, and team mascot. --- LOL. Komori, it's been Neoschool for a few months now. ^_^ I hope you can get something submitted! You know the Neopian public rushes to read your comics first and foremost. Hehehe. ^^" I so wouldn't be one of those people... --- Do regular Neopians really know what the NTWF is? I know I didn't, before I was invited. I wasn't here last year for Faerie Wars, though. Did people learn that it was the NTWF, or did they just hear that it was Neopian Times writers? I don't think that a lot of people would be spying on us to see if we're planning a prank, but since I don't really know how high the NTWF-awareness is, it might be wiser to disguise the topic.
But then, NTWF-ers who haven't heard about the prank yet won't notice the board and therefore won't write/draw pieces of the issue. xDNo, last year during Faerie Wars, they only knew the prankers as "a group of NT writers." That's all I knew about it before Patjade invited me to NTWF the same issue (I'd gotten a comic in that issue). --- Or, just put this in some obscure location... If this thread is in the "recipies" section of off-topic, and the title is changed to something like "The fool-proof clam chowder" then I doubt any non-NTWFers will find this That's true. Although it'd be pretty funny if a non-NTWFer wandered into that sub-board and saw a 60 page thread about clam chowder. XD
"The NTWF: home of extreme clam chowder enthusiasts."You know what? We should post the word "neoschool" in every post we make in every thread across the whole forum, just to give Google more pages to pull up. XDDDDLOL!! xDDD --- So what if someone finds it? First off, I don't see why your average Joe Neopian would suddenly want to google in order to find whether or not there's a prank coming. And even if someone does, Neopets is humongous. Even if someone went all 'the British are coming' on the Neoboards, how many people would it reach? There'd still be plenty who fall for it when the time is right - and remember, they're not allowed to post offsite links anyway, so they don't have much proof >> The worst-case scenario would be someone putting together a Spoil Ze Prank team and start a huge campaign on the boards, but unless it reaches GUP measures, which would be odd as heck, there'd still be plenty of people who don't check the boards often but read the NT often. Not to mention, how's the NTWF getting extra attention a bad thing? We got some twenty new members over the last prank.
I agree. I was one of the people who joined during the Faerie Wars time from a coincidence. Yes, most people are still naive to warnings on the boards, just like how people are told not to post chain messages.

I'm almost done with the comic! After I scan the last panel, all that is needed is to level it, color it in, and add speech bubbles. Speaking of which, does anyone know of good speech bubble tutorials that can be done in Photoshop 4.0?

And. It. Is. DONE. ...well, the coloring is. :3 ...well, except for the background of the last panel. What would you suggest? ...and it still needs to be smushed together. x)

I like the coloring :3 Nice, clean colors. You might want to distinguish the panels more clearly, though, the transition from the wheel to the Snowager seems too sudden, what with the wheel's sections and the Snowager's stripes right next to each other.
The background of the last panel depends on the setting, I guess. If there's no specific setting, then go for some light color.

And I got the colors with the lovely eyedropper tool. I didn't come up with any of them; I figured the original colors would look better, and it would be easier than searching for colors to come up with.

Nat - I think you need a thicker line in between each panel, because it's kind of hard to tell them apart. It looks really good though, and I love the colors! ^_^ Oh, and you might want to put your comic in spoiler tags if you post it again.

OH SHOOT. XD Sorry, Craig. Time to take out the ol' tablet and pen. =D *stares at cobwebs* ...o.o So, here the pictures are. I put the two parts together, I made it a JPG, I made it the required width (470 pixels), and I went over the borders. All I need to make is the speech bubbles.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone ^_^ That's what I'll do for my comic, then. You can put me down as 'drawing' for the list status thing, then. I really do want to get more active around here again. It's such a fun place. I hope getting in on this'll help. ^^

It's cute Nat, but I don't get what it has to do with the Neoschools, unless you're doing a joke that's not associated with what the rest of us are doing. And my comic is now submitted.
