Gah. I forgot about this for a little while, but I'm still hoping to submit something. I have a rough sketch with my idea, but I want to get feedback on it first to make sure it's okay before I make the good copy. I wasn't sure whether to do it here or on the feedback board, since it's about the April Fool's prank, but here's my sketch: One of the main things I'm not sure about is the titles of the books she's reading aloud. Do you think there would be a problem with having it accepted if a real-world reference like Romeo and Juliet is in it? It's easily changeable, luckily, but I'd like your opinions on it anyways. So yeah, there's my idea. I should get working on it soon, I guess. I missed the last two special NT editions because of procrastination, so I really want to get this one in. D: XDD I love it, it's actually a good idea. >_> *glances at sister* xDD But yeah, Romeo and Juliet should probably go bye bye... it seems very risky for me. So yay for easily changeable! xD

Dootyduty : I like the 2nd idea better Star: LOL! Nice comic idea xD As for book references, try to use some common Neopian ones, that Neopians will understand...Like 'Purple Power' of 'Cartography for Beginner's Other books: Inside the Mind of a Lupe, Brightvale Maps, Lenny Crosswords, Slushie Slinging for Novices Ah, thank you ^_^ However, the idea is actually that the homework belongs to me, and therefore is easily recognisable as non-neo-related. But maybe that's not as clear as I thought. ^^; But thank-you for the book names anyways. I can use them when I'm drawing the stack of books in the good comic.

I'D prefer to use 2 Neopets instead of a Human ;p

Blimey, this thread is moving faster than the 'bloids o__o
Anyway, I don't see the problem with the red flag of the title. I noticed that some three, four new people were pulled into this ever since the title was changed, so it's completely warranted itself, if you ask me xD
So what if someone finds it? First off, I don't see why your average Joe Neopian would suddenly want to google in order to find whether or not there's a prank coming. And even if someone does, Neopets is humongous. Even if someone went all 'the British are coming' on the Neoboards, how many people would it reach? There'd still be plenty who fall for it when the time is right - and remember, they're not allowed to post offsite links anyway, so they don't have much proof >> The worst-case scenario would be someone putting together a Spoil Ze Prank team and start a huge campaign on the boards, but unless it reaches GUP measures, which would be odd as heck, there'd still be plenty of people who don't check the boards often but read the NT often. Not to mention, how's the NTWF getting extra attention a bad thing? We got some twenty new members over the last prank.
I say keep it public, people. Let's keep it big. This is one of the rare cases of an all-NTWF activity. I've been a member for two years, and I've always felt that I've missed the golden times of those huge activities with the White Weewoo and Chet Flash. Well, those two pranks, last year's and now this year's, are reaching equal measures. I don't want this to become a little around-the-corner plotting-sect.

I"d actually like to do an article, I think.
My current idea is "how to sneak your petpet into NeoSchool" or something like that-
Any thoughts? Am I too late?

Do you think if I posted in Staff Call, Droplet would let me slip a reference to the Neoschools into the part of my series that would be in the April Fool's edition? I don't have enough time to write a whole piece, but would like to be a part of this.

Brilliant. Hopefully Droplet will change it before the April Fool's Edition. You can add me to the list of conspirators as a vague reference if you like, Craig.

Mine's finished and submitted, ya'll.
"Getting Around the "No Petpets Allowed" Rule."
I even snuck in a Neopoly reference.

I mentioned this earlier, but my comic will likely be poking at the Yurble Janitor's uncanny ability to work his way into every plot. :3 As well, Google often links directly to specific threads on the NTWF, and we've mentioned "neoschools" a heck of a lot so far. You know what? We should post the word "neoschool" in every post we make in every thread across the whole forum, just to give Google more pages to pull up. XDDDD ...It's not a bad idea. xD Gah. I forgot about this for a little while, but I'm still hoping to submit something. I have a rough sketch with my idea, but I want to get feedback on it first to make sure it's okay before I make the good copy. D: Eek, it's Star! =D *glomphugs* The comic is brilliant, but yeah, that Romeo and Juliet reference might be a little too real-worldish. The other two titles were more general and probably fine, so maybe you could make the third something similar... "Latin Made Easy" or something. xD
