Estrya: {So... you really don't know anything about us. We could go after him, but I don't think our presence would do any good. Regardless of whether Noah is with us or against us, Helvetica and Taisean wouldn't let any harm come to him. He helped create them. ... Since you don't know anything about Rinamians, you wouldn't know what the title "Progenitor" means to us. It's very important. There were six Progenitors, originally, but only four are still alive. In a world that has been at war for two thousand years, that's actually pretty good statistics. The Progenitors founded Rinam and developed the system from which we were all birthed. The Progenitors are the creators of the Rinamian nation and race. Swash is a Progenitor.}
((The whole male thing was meant to be a dundundun thing, but as I think I've mentioned somewhere, I hadn't expected for this group to get Taco-face-time for awhile longer. I know I've said that for every 'rule' people ask me to give for the Rinamians, there are one or more who break it. That Noah has nothing to do with this Noah.))
---
Taisean: *in response to Lumine, looking sorrowful* Mother...
Helvetica: *to Gate* Hmph. The same was said about power corruption.
*sort of at the same time, replying to Pallette* Omen: {Course not} Ginga: {I had thought so...}
*most of the other Rinamians in the room are looking kind of bewildered at the appearance of Noah*
Neretta: {Noah comes from another planet. His original body had deteriorated, so Swash built him a new one.}
*Taisean and Omen begin lowering as Lumine, Gate, and Vile do*
Noah: *to Layer* Most certainly. Your designs and minds intrigue me. Your past, your personality, your knowledge, each of you is a treasure chest waiting to be unlocked. *to Lumine* Very well.
Omen: *to Lumine* Can the elves tell you what exactly Swash is up to?
Noah: *smirks* Helvetica and Taisean can. They've been out putting it into motion. Neretta can tell you about it too.
Neretta: ... I can?
Noah: It's your plan. Sort of.
---
*as the light fades Phantom finds himself in a room nearly covered in monitors*
Synchro: *talking to another Digital, who turns to leave rather abruptly upon sighting Phantom*
--- *after a few moments of confusion, the App Alia is talking to begins walking in zig-zags*
{Never heard it called that before}
*on Grind's screen there are several screens, many of them survailence videos, the one of them showing only static is the one with volume on*
{Walk in zig-zags?}
---
Glyph: .oO(I rather feel like I've been chewed up and spit out by a Darusfin. Which is an improvement on how I normally feel.) *and it suddenly sinks in* Y-y-y-you-you did it? You actually did it? *ends up staring at Light in amazement* I, uh. Wow. Thanks! *runs her fingers through her hair* I'm not sure how I can ever repay you. *grins and stands up, wobbling over to Light to give him a hug* Thank you.
---
Swash: *gazes at Ullet for a few moments before leaning down and hugging her*
Kabel: ... Swash, may I ask what that was all about?
Swash: Hopper wants to get his nose in someone else's business. I've thrown him a bone. While he chases his tail we can proceed.
Ullet: So.. you're not taking over Rinam and then the world?
Swash: I will be gathering my council soon to discuss the next move. .oO(Sarrel, did Noah ever arrive to assist your friends? I can't remember if I told you I sent him. In case you haven't noticed, no one else can hear you, so they all tend to talk over you. It's difficult to listen to multiple conversations at the same time, so sometimes I don't register you. Like a thought pushed to the back of the mind. You said something about the soul-merge. I am well aware of what your intent with me was. Regardless of how you meant it, my systems read it as something else. A forced soul-merge. Which will not work. You're quite lucky we didn't soul-merge. You would have been crushed. I have to hold back, even now.)
Kabel: Swash?
Swash: .oO(... Another bad thing about you being where no one can see you are the awkward silences where everyone looks at me funny because I'm frowning and staring at nothing in particular.) I'm just relaying some messages. *heads over to Terra and wraps her arms around him, nuzzling his cheek softly* Let's get you fixed up, shall we? *starts to glow softly* .oO(So much anger.. rage... let's see if we can channel that energy) *hugs Terra a little tighter and kisses him*
Kabel: General? What about the Hunter and the other guy?
Swash: {Let them go. Clarendon will serve her purpose.}
---
Vice: You'd be attacked because there are a group of reploids tearing through the base. They killed a portal sentry to get in. Last I heard they were heading for the giant lasers. Most of the officers, fighters, and junior officers are off on missions, so it's the older kids protecting the younger. If you get too close to where they're hiding then they'll attack.
---
Clarendon: Well, like I said, it's up to you. Come on, let's get out of here before they come after us. *dives for the hole*
---
Chancery: ... I don't know. It sounds like it will be interesting, at least.

{In that case, We should save rushing in for if they really need a distraction.} *listens to the Progenitor part* {That... would explain a few things.} ... {This isn't going to be easy...} ((Ah. Don't think I've heard you say that before, though I guess I'll have to keep it in mind. I'm aware. It just confused me for a minute, with the name being the same and all. Also trying to bring up funny irony of a sort.)) ----- W-huh? I'm not sure if it corrupts power systems, though it doesn't need to. You can't treat it the same way. {So he's an immigrant...} ... *tenses slightly* Sir, if you were trying to sound flattering, I'm afraid it didn't quite work. *glad to touch the ground and let go of Gate* Potentially, though I couldn't see what she sees exactly, and keeping a constant stream could be distract- Oh! You mean in that sense. Still, potentially; yes. Might be faster to stick with... you guys, though. Care to explain, Neretta? *subconsciously shifts back slightly* And Noah? ----- *walks up to Synchro* May I ask what that was about? ----- .oO (I can ask about the name later.) {Yeah, I wanted to test out orders with something that wasn't likely to conflict with a higher order. Hmm... Let's see if I can get it to tell me what those higher orders are.} *enters 'resume walking strait,' then 'list current orders.'* ----- *feels like he's 'catching' Glyph* Oof! ... *gently hugs back* Well, I think our first order of business will be letting you recover, at least until you're no longer wobbly. After that... you should help your world. ----- Sarrel: Oh. So you're tricking the green guy, Harpuia. .oO (Funny how well she can remember my name, but not his.) Your systems are likely reading it as an attempted merge because they're not sure how else to read it. A false positive, you might say. But last I checked, we Dark Elves using our ability and merging by accident just doesn't happen.
Anyway, no, I don't think you mentioned a Noah. I'll have to check. *pause* *ping!*----- *almost seems to jump at the 'other Reploids' comment* ... If they want me to stay away, then- ... To where the children are hiding? Well I didn't come to disturb a bunch of children. Take me to the giant lasers, then, unless you hear of the Reploids changing course.

*winces at the hug and struggles slightly, though not very strongly given his current state* A-ahhh- be careful, you- *flinches and brings his hands up to push her away as a knee-jerk reaction at the kiss, but quickly lowers them again and seems to relax a little* ...Why do you keep doing that..? --- *dives down after her* ...Alright, I'll go with you. Whatever it takes to get my boss back to a moody grouch instead of a psychopathic moody grouch. --- Yeah... hope it's nothin' too serious...

Estrya: {I...} *rubs her arm a little and takes a worried glance into the hall* {I know.} ((I'm afraid the irony is lost on me as well as everyone else who doesn't read the comic xp )) --- Helvetica: *sighs* Power corruption doesn't refer to a corruption of the power systems, it refers to corruption by the power systems. Just never mind, this conversation can wait. Neretta: {Yes, an immigrant; in a Rinamian body.} Ginga: *grins a little* {You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.}Omen: {...What?} Ginga: {It's a joke.} Omen: {Not a very good one.} Noah: *to Layer* You must forgive me, this is not my native language. I meant no insult with my words. Omen: *to Lumine* Awesome. Neretta: The plan was - Noah: Actually, I have a few questions for you, regarding the Maverick Virus. We may speak while we walk, for there are things to do. *notices the laser control panel and walks over to it* *glances around the rest of the room* ... Speaking of things to do, this will never do. *places his hands on the panel, which ripples slightly at his touch* --- Synchro: That would be the scum of the worlds, a politician who's position depends solely on what's most popular at the time. But she gave me some important information. Swash is in her third form. If something drives her to the fourth she's going to start absorbing. --- {Oh, okay.}*App returns to walking normally while a list of commands appear in front of Alia* "Protect the System Protect and obey the Masters Guard the prisoners, keep them imprisoned until instructed by a Master to do otherwise Protect all Digitals from harm Protect the Angel Accept High Orders only from Masters and High Officials" --- Glyph: *looks over at Megaman and nods, slowly* I will do all I can. I... I have hope, now. .oO(Wait, did he say he fixed my glitch? Did he fix just that, or... hngggg. I'll have to take a look at it later, no point in freaking out right now. After all, I am alive. The anti-virus sounds useful. I wonder how it stand up against the Evil Energy, Dark Cyber Elves, and other things.) Until then, what can I do around here? I'd like to try and repay you. .oO(No worries about the reprogramming thing. If we well, we besides the Betas were reprogrammable or controllable the war would have been lost long ago. I do worry a little about the updates. But there's no point in mentioning it now.) --- Swash: .oO(That was more for Clarendon then for him, but he was amusing all the same-! HE'S Harpuia? Arg.) *whispers softly to Terra* It helps, trust me. *looks at Ullet* Follow Hopper and the girl, make sure they don't get into too much trouble. Someone will assist you shortly. .oO(You sticking around wasn't supposed to happen either. You should have been rejected. When a forced soul merge is sensed, that is what is supposed to happen. *pauses* I wonder... Calli has an ability like yours... but it only works on...)--- Vice: *nods* I was told Swash was coming to deal with the problem, but that something delayed her. *places a hand against the wall, pulling up a map of the base* Looks like to get to the laser room we.... have to go back the way we came, and down. *zooms in and begins tracing a finger along passageways* If we take these we'll bypass the main elevator and avoid Swash if she's still there. But... since she was coming to deal with the Reploids, that room is probably where she's headed. She's going to beat us there unless we can get there in less time then it takes her to heal up those guys. --- Clarendon: *nods and continues diving, zooming past the confused workers* And get Swash back to her old unpredictable, odd-sense of humor self.--- (( Chancery and Flash can be moved to over here.))

*sighs and rubs his face as he's healed, soon opening the eye that was damaged* I cannot believe this... twice I've been badly damaged while being unable to even see my attacker. I am a Stardroid. This should not be happening. *continues to hover in place, still looking a little confused* ... *folds his arms and waits for his next order* --- Right. So where we heading?

.oO (Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that to her...) {We need to tell someone. ...} *to the girls in the laser room* {I understand someone entered your room. What's going on? Estrya and I are still waiting in the elevator shaft. Advise.} ((I wasn't trying to point out anything related to the comic, other that I'd recently learned about another character with the same name, and so it was throwing me off, which I found funny. If that's not enough for you, I guess you could consider the fact that EGS!Noah has an androgynous appearance and behavior while Robot!Noah is a male in a world of females. There's also what Elizabeth said about same-names in the interview.)) ----- ... Thank you, sir. {Noah? He walked in to try to help the Mavericks. Before that, Lumine said that apparently Swash has betrayed all sides and suggested we team up.} *beat* {What!?} {He seems sincere. Noah said he was here to 'take care of' us, and Lumine said it wasn't necessary, basically protecting us.} {...} ... {Even without taking that into account, I don't trust this Noah.} Walk where? ... We can discuss the virus later. There are more pressing issues. What is this 'plan' you were talking about? *to Neretta* {If he doesn't tell us, will you?} ----- .oO (I have an idea, but...) What does this 'absorption' entail, exactly? I do understand that she's corrupted and likely behaving violently... A higher form suggests more power... Whatever happens, there will be a difficult fight ahead. I think we should enable the prisoners so that they can fight. ----- *enters 'list commands by order if importance, highest-priority first'* .oO (Maybe I can make a situation where two commands conflict...) {'Protect the system' sounds pretty broad. What does it normally mean?} *as soon as a response is given by the App, enters 'define "harm" and "high order" '* {These commands sound fairly loose, but I may need to find a way to work around them... Anyway, do you think we could use them to gather information? Where would you start?} ----- Remember to act on that hope. Remember to share it with others. Be strong for them... You could help out around the house! *chuckles* I'm sure we can find plenty of ways for you to help us, but for now what's important is that you rest. I can get a recovery bed ready. It'll take just a few minutes. *runs off* ((Watch out, Glyph. Roll's going to have you taking out the trash and cleaning out the bathtub. This part sounds like it's wrapping up. Want to take a break from this one, or what?)) ----- Sarrel: We can use 'dead' bodies, too, but it's hard to find one that isn't badly damaged and weak. Even with as much power as we have, we can only do so much. *pause* Oh, and the situation with the visitors is under control.----- *winces at the shouting* ... In that case, we had better leave as soon as possible, and maybe he'll distract her enough to slow her down. Come on, bring that map. *grabs her hand again and starts flying the both of them back* ((On another note, take a look at what I found. ))

Estrya: *nods a little* {I can't think of anything else that's important for you to know right now.} --- ((Ah, I see. The latter half is amusing, actually.)) Noah: You are welcome. Taisean: {Father wouldn't have hurt you. Possibly Kakie-tied you and thrown you out on your tushes, but not hurt.} Neretta: ... *very softly, in response to Pallette* {You should go home.}Noah: There is a meeting soon, Neretta. You are invited. *frowns a little and lifts his hands from the panel* The information on the Maverick Virus is quite pressing. Hypothetically, what would happen if there were a great many very tiny machines in charge of maintaining a much larger one, and they had the virus? Classic: You mean, like, the nanomachine repairbots? Noah: Yes. --- Synchro: *frowns a little* ... What happens when a Reploid takes on a bigger form? How do they do it? Are the extra materials stored inside of them? --- {I think if there's a conflict of commands the decision on what course of action to take is inquired of Scaoine. That's the name of the base's central intelligence. All Apps are small parts of it. It has a mind of its own that allows it to run all functions even if a Master is absent. The nanos that keep the base clean and repair stuff are also part of Scaoine. If Scaoine can't decide a course of action then the problem is sent to a Master.}*the commands are listed in the same order, with notes on variables that would change the order* {I would start... working backwards. Since each App is part of the base, they all have access to some basic intel. After that we could try to break them off from the system and code a disguise that makes the system believe they are a Digital.}--- Glyph: *nods to Dr. Light, smiles and watches Roll run off* .oO(Wait, what am I thinking? Right now is the time to bring up any potential problems! I doubt Dr. Light is going to think me any less grateful. I hope not.) Um, Dr. Light? There is one thing I'd like to talk to you about. *glances at Mega* It's rather personal, so I'd like to speak to Dr. Light alone about it, if you don't mind, MegaMan. ((That in itself will be amusing.)) --- Swash: .oO(That's good. Should turn off the alarms...) *sigh softly* Perhaps you need an upgrade, love. .oO(Against the technology of the Rinamians, a two thousand years old commonwealth born from the even older Scrac nations, it's no surprise Terra is having some troubles. I'll fix that.) I'll take you and Jupiter to the labs and have them see what they can do. Kabel- *glances at the Patroler, who like Jupiter is waiting at attention* The others will be arriving soon. Please take care of them until the meeting. Kabel: *salutes and flies off* (( Heh)) --- Vice: Ug- Hang on a sec, would ya? The map is in the wall, I need a little time to transfer it to my own screen. And you don't have to hold my hand, I'm a big girl. Plus you feel funny, and it's kind of weirding me out. ((Cute)) --- Clarendon: Report to Progenitor Calligraph, of course. *glances back up at the base* Take my hand, I'll teleport us.

{Maybe... But I feel like I don't have enough information.} {*somewhat stressed* What's going on in this base?} ----- {We're not leaving you to do this alone! When things are this bad, you need all the help you can get!} *looking irritated* Nothing. Automated machines, machines designed to do one task, and one task only, and machines that rely on receiving commands from an external source are too simple to be affected by the energy. Not in any significant way, at least. They might be a little more resilient, maybe not have as many energy problems, but nothing really notable. *still irritated, but bear with me sprite-wise* Even if they had enough of a mind to be affected, I highly doubt they'd suddenly start reshaping things without some form of purpose. {We're wasting time here.} *simultaneous* {We're not getting anywhere.} {X, we might need to have you come in and be the secret weapon.} {But what-} {It'll come naturally to you.} {... ?} We can handle that issue on the ground if we need to. But right now, there are bigger things to be concerned about. *starts walking toward the exit* If you won't help us, then step aside. ----- ... Oh. I... don't know how we do it. I don't believe that the materials are stored inside our bodies, but they don't seem to be absorbed from the environment, either... I think I remember hearing something about materialization technology, possibly related to transporters. Perhaps that's it? I take from context that your people has to take material from around them, though. Is there a way to interrupt the process? ((In case you're wondering, I figure they have transporters that take things apart, transfer the information, and put them back together again. I think that's generally how transporters are considered to work, and Star Trek is to blame/credit for that. Well, who's to say that all three steps need to be done at one time every time? The information could be stored and used later. Or better yet, if someone's really good with the data, they could just program/copy the info in and make stuff without disassembling it in the first place. I think this is how replicators [often used in food or medicine] are considered to work in Star Trek, as well.)) ----- {Joined minds... I assume I can't ask one to get information from Scaoine?} *enters 'list information learned in the past 48 hours about the following individuals: Swash, Sigma, Lumine, Vile, Gate'* {I may need help connecting with other apps all at once. Why would they need to register as Digitals?} ----- ... I... guess that would be okay... *glances at the clock, which shows the (getting) late time* ... Well, I suppose we can discuss things for awhile. Just remember that we'll all need rest, soon. MegaMan, could you let Roll know if she comes back before we're finished? ... *nods* Mm. Thank you. *starts turning toward the basement area, gesturing for Glyph to follow* *as they walk down to the basement, some of their steps are accompanied by the stairs squeaking* *no, they didn't suddenly start squeaking, but it wasn't mentioned before either* *stops near the desk* Now then, what did you want to talk to me about? ----- 'Others,' huh?----- *still holding on* Unless you can fly by controlling the wind and moving with it, I doubt you can keep up. We need to get there as soon as possible. ((I'm... not sure how that applies, but okay.))

An upgrade...? That shouldn't even be necessary! We are Stardroids! I think she heard you the first time... *turns to glare at him* Do you have something to say, Jupiter? *squawks* No, sir. Watch your tongue, boy, lest I should blast it out of your face. The last thing I need is a second Mercury making snide comments when he thinks I'm not paying attention. Do not forget your place. Yes, sir. Sorry, sir. ...Hm. *turns back to Swash* The upgrades will not be necessary. Next time, we will not fail. I will make sure of it. --- Uh, right. *takes her hand*

Estrya: {What's going on? ... I'm not sure.} *shifts a little, looking nervous* {We were awakened at night and told we had to evacuate. We were taken somewhere I had never been before, a massive area underground. The gravity there was weak. We began to assemble this base, we were told it would be our new Home. People from other Homes arrived and we all worked together on assembling the pieces. There was a rumor that one of the Homes was missing, but I didn't know anyone from that Home, so I can't tell you whether or not that is true.}
---
Neretta: {Part of my plan involves keeping the casualties down and keeping children out of the conflict that is to take place! How old are you, Ms. Pallette? Anything under 30 is a child to us, and I will not lead children into war!}
Ginga: {Secret weapon?}
Omen: {This sounds entertaining.}
Noah: *smiles* Now that that has been answered, we can- Where exactly are you planning on going, Lumine? I did not say I would not help you. I simply needed to know something. Knowledge is power after all, especially here.
---
Synchro: *nods* But here there are places that block transformations which occur like that. *summons a screen and glances over it before continuing on* Not that it isn't still used, it's just, well, why convert matter into energy and then back into matter when you can just send energy and convert it into the desired object? However, for higher transformations that can require a lot of energy, and Rinamians are all connected to a main power-source that supplies us wirelessly. A higher transformation might put too much strain on the system. Besides, if you can convert your enemy into your upgrade, why not? I know not of a way to interrupt the process, though through use of antimatter and antiparticles one might be able to?
((You didn't have to explain that. In fact I had hoped you wouldn't so Synchro wouldn't sound so redundant. But I am pleased that we drew the same conclusions.))
---
{Not joined minds. Pieces of one. They are all part of Scaoine. To get them to do anything they shouldn't do we have to break them away. To keep Scaoine from seeing them as a problem that needs removed they would have to be considered a Digital.}
*data files appear on Lumine, Gate, Sigma, and Vile, but the only information available on Swash reads "Current Location"*
---
Glyph: *nabs her coat and hat before following Dr. Light down the stair* *S.R.S.F.F.R.s come along behind her* *pauses for a moment before going a little red* Well, it was about the glitch- *glances down as one of the largest of the pudgy black S.R.S.F.F.R.s starts to whine* Are you serious? You're going to give birth now?
---
Swash: .oO(Yes. Others. Loyal friends.) Terra. Love. Have you not noticed how similar the Reploids are to the Stardroids? Even in name. You are the older type, correct? What if the Reploids were built from stolen Stardroid technology? They would have taken your designed and advanced them by now. If you allowed us to study you we could use the data against the Reploids. And why would ever turn down a chance at more power? That which stops growing and evolving withers away and dies.
((To avoid confusion could you put Sarrel's stuff in brackets like these "[ ]"? Or something to mark that only Swash can hear her. -Maybe these would work-))
---
Vice: *eyes lower to the floor* *gives her hand a few weak tugs* Do ya think you pull that trick on a wind board? I could summon one big enough for two. It's not just that you feel weird. I ain't built to be yanked and jerked around. *rubs the shoulder of the arm Harpuia has* It hurts. And why are you in such a hurry to get to the attackers? I'd rather not meet them, myself.

Clarendon: *teleports* *area around them is completely dark, and very cold* This is where Progenitor Calligraph's office is. She's been the head of Rinam since Swash took down Serif.

Depending on the culture, Humans could be considered adults at a young age, and animals mature much faster.} {What Layer said. We can handle it. We've fought in war before!} Knowledge might be power, but time is of the essence, and we don't have enough of it to stand around discussing things when disaster is looming. *pause* *gestures to the miscellaneous Rinamians* You wouldn't want these girls to be hurt, would you? Now excuse me. *tries walking around Noah and through the door, gesturing for the other Mavericks to follow* *the door opens* *both jump as they cross each-other's paths* *a little wary of Lumine* *gives X a look, sort of annoyed, condescending, and on the verge of dismissive, but says nothing* ... *to the Rinamians* Um... Or at the very least inconvenience her and slow her down? ----- .oO (I guess they're more like remotes than individual entities…) {I think we should figure out what we want to do, and then disconnect them if we need to. Or at all? But one thing for sure is that she's not going to use thought balloons when trying to talk to Swash. )) Sarrel: .oO (*almost bored tone* Mmm-hm…)----- *still holding on* ... I suppose it would be better than dragging, but at least run until it's ready. But this world and more may be in danger. Estyra: {Yes. But doing what?} *follows X* --- Neretta: {Alright. But I am not comfortable with risking your lives for our cause.} Noah: ... *allows Lumine to pass* robot 1: Did he just threaten us?robot 2: I'm not sure.Estrya: *follows X in, giving Lumine a cautious look as she passes him* Helvetica: ... *follows Lumine* Taisean: *sigh* *follows Helvetica* Omen: ... *follows Taisean* *some of the girls in the crowd give little waves as X greets them* Noah: *raises an eyebrow at X* And you are? --- Synchro: Cuffs and the paralyzing nets should work for a bit on her. *slight smile as she gently raises her hand to stroke the side of Phantom's face* I might be persuaded to inconvenience her... by a kiss. A powerful kiss. A kiss with soul. Can you give me that, Angel? --- {Yes, they can be. Very little information is available anywhere on the Progenitors. I'm surprised her location is even listed.}*more banging can be heard coming from the crystal walls Alia put up* --- Glyph: *rushes over to help carry the bowl, and helps helps adjust it when it's set down* Thank you, doctor. *sets the SRSFRF down in the water* SRSFRF: *settles into the water happily, singing off a few notes* Glyph: *grins* She thanks you too... Doctor, robots that can reproduce... is a rather controversial subject. Many humans are opposed to the idea, and many robots too. These robots here *gestures around at the SRSFRFs* Are asexual. Most of them only create little identical copies of themselves, but the black ones are adapters, the mothers producing children that can solve a problem they themselves can not. They each are wonderful little helpers, specializing in a certain area of work. They help me. They are living tools, but they are also my friends. It's harmless enough, applying reproduction to small helper robots, but what would you think of it applied to a larger robots? A intelligent one, like myself? Not asexual, of course. I think one of the beauties of reproduction is it reinforces that need, that desire... for company. Companionship. People needing people. Love. Love is so beautiful, Dr. Light... Dr. Light, what is your opinion on robot reproduction? --- Vice: ... Alright. *looks back at the screen, entering a few commands* I'll have the map copied in a moment. But I want to know something. If they're allies, why'd they kill Mr. Sigma? -wilderness- Min: Alright. Wait here, I'll be back in a moment. *follows the tracks, vanishing for awhile before returning with a slight smile* Harpuia may not be dead. The Rinamians that were here were all Navahians. Rescuers, hospital workers and the like. Harpuia was taken to the emergency section of the Navahian hospital. If he's alive, he's in critical condition. *holds out her hand* Let's go pay the hospital a visit. -Wilderness- ... *flames lower, though there's still the occasional little tongue* .oO (They still hurt him...) ... ... *looking away, still takes her hand* Min: *teleports them* *the temp of the area around them increases greatly* Min: *gestures around at the city full of black buildings, laughing a little* I think they have to go with black because the soot will eventually blacken everything anyway. I assure you the citizens of Navah are much more colorful. *still holding his hand, heads toward a very large building where failing attempts at cheeriness have been made on the exterior* *one of Min's wings is bent and her helmet is badly cracked near the back, on the same side as the bent wing* This is the hospital. We'll have to go through some security since that terrorist bombing has everyone on edge. Bad enough they did it in the first place *hurries up the black steps* but why'd they pick the building that they picked? If they had wanted to kill a lot of Navahian Hunters they should have targeted the main building. Guess a side edifice was easier to get into. As it was an alarming percentage of the casualties were innocent people in the street. *hurries through a door that slides open for them, making a b-line for the front desk* --- Swash: *sigh* *takes Terra and Jupiter's hands and teleports them* robot sitting in chair: *concentrating on something on her desk* Swash: Hello. robot: *jumps and turns around in her chair to face them* Swash: I want you to create some upgrades for my friends here. Immediately. robot: Yes mam! --- Clarendon: Teleport rooms are never cheery. They should let us out in a moment or two... *doors hidden away in the wall open, two robots coming into the room* Robot: Identification, please. Clarendon: Clarendon, Hunter of the Rawlinson Pack. robot: Human Hunter Pack. Clarendon: Er- Yes. Robot: *gestures at Mercury* And who is that? Clarendon: Mercury, member of the Stardroids. robot: Has he been granted citizenship? Clarendon: As far as I'm aware, he hasn't applied. He's helping me with something. We need to talk to Progenitor Calligraph right now. Robot: One moment. *nods at the other robot with her* other robot: *quickly scans Clarendon and Mercury before nodding* Robot: You may have a seat in the waiting room. Do you need an escort, or do you know your way there? Clarendon: An escort would be great.

Come on Gate, Vile. *moves around X and out the door* ... Yessir. *walks quickly to catch up* *considers staying behind, but then figures it'll get him away from the Hunters for awhile and follows* {... Since when were we fighting for your cause?} {*mostly to the Rinamians* Just listen to X.} *moves back somewhat as the Mavericks pass* ... ... *to both Noah and the girls* I'm X. I'm a Maverick Hunter. I... There are Robots in my world called Mavericks. I've seen the things they do. They don't seem to want anything but destroy everything, and maybe take what survives for themselves. I've seen them destroy cities, organizations... Even our planet fell to the Mavericks, and that still wasn't enough for them. They start when they get a virus that... changes them. Some of my best friends have fallen, changed because of the Maverick Virus. I had to destroy them myself... And now it looks like your leader has it, too. *looking at the girls* I don't like to fight... but they just keep bringing war... And now... *strains to say this loud enough for the others to hear* Who knows what she'll do...? *pleading* Please... Please help... ----- ** *tenses, backing up slightly* I... don't think I could. My mind is focussed on those that might be hurt... And even with what feelings there might be, we hardly know each-other... And it often seemed like a Human thing to me... *still tense* Not to mention your... condition... *slight twitch* concerns me... ** ((Never thought I'd make that smiley. )) ----- {That's strange... It's kind of worrying, actually. A progenitor is a leader, isn't she? It almost like she's hiding something from her people... And watching them...} *looks over at the walls, ready to put up another if needed* ... {Pallette, I have Swash's location.} {Good! Send it! Please!}----- ... Now that is something I haven't been asked before. *strokes beard muttering aloud to himself, his head turning away from Glyph slightly as he thinks* Starting at a much younger age may make it easier for them to adjust to the world... I am worried that it will give them more reason to cling more to their own people, rather than live together with humans, but maybe having such a thing in common would also help bridge gaps... .oO (And I suppose mixed couple could always adopt or build a child, though that could be done even without such a feature...) I also worry about social implications between robots, or even with human children, though that's hardly new in the world. If they happen to be popular among friends, it might encourage there to be more of them, though I'm not sure how likely that would be... Depending on how it's handled, it could make replacement parts harder to make or get, and possibly make it harder to enter certain workforces, though a counter for that might be selective breeding... Still, that's their choice... ... Their choice... *stops fingering his beard, letting his hands down slightly, now speaking at a conversational volume* As it currently is, it's almost as if they've been robbed of something great… *turns back toward Glyph, though turns his gaze to the side momentarily* Of course, the technical implications mean that this likely won't be possible for a long time. And, with the current state of things, I don't think either humans or robots are ready to accept something like this. Some of the more stubborn people refuse to see robots as anything more than fancy machines, and even this wouldn't help change their minds. If anything, they'd see it as a ridiculous extra feature. Maybe if a time came for it to be implemented it would be best if introduced gradually... *looking Glyph in the eye now* It's certainly a complicated matter. I may have to think about it further, though my initial opinion is... while it I'm afraid it will almost certainly be abused and lead to problems, it would allow them to have options that would let them have amazing experiences. ----- Sigma was here?!? *a cold draft is felt* He is no ally. It's because of him that my world was nearly reduced to a lifeless shell, and it's barely doing better than that even now. He is the cause of many wars and much devastation. He likely tried to manipulate your people... *pause* *slightly accusing tone* Unless, of course, they knew about this. ----- *notices the environment* .oO (This is prett-) *jerked forward* *tries to keep up while trying to pull his hand out* .oO (So why not let the soot do it's work?) You realize I have no idea what you're talking about? ----- Sarrel: ‹Say… What kind of upgrades is he going to get?›

And make it quick. We have more pressing matters to attend to. ... --- *just watches the other robots, narrowing his eyes slightly* ...
