Last year I was the top student in English, Art and Drama (for my grade). This year I was on the principal's list and scored the highest mark in my math class (97%) while over half the class failed. For some reason math became really, really easy in grade nine and now I'm one of the top students in that, which is very funny because I was basically failing it in elementary school.

We just did a big schedule change for the next nine weeks. I'm in English 4 Honors. The first thing we did was write an essay in class so that Ms. Deal (the teacher) could "ascertain our writing level". She gave everyone 100 points, because it was just a diagnostic thing, but she also put a letter grade on it. Ms. Deal told us that she was a harsh taskmaster. She said every comma misuse, every second-person slip, ect. would cost us a letter grade. That is just in grammar, not even counting format, content and all that jazz. Well, we got our essays back. I was expecting a low grade, because I know I don't have the greatest grammar in the world. Especially when it comes to commas. I got an A. Every other person in the class got a C or below, and I got an A. Oh my. Her written comments talked about how it was an excellent paper that she enjoyed reading, and praising various parts of it. Her only complaint was one place where my stupid self started a sentance with an indefinite pronoun.

Hmm... *puts up note* Well, our class just got back the social studies test on Hinduism. There's this crazy guy who usually gets the best grades all the time and he wrote... uhm... 10 pages (!!) on this little test. Anyway, the social studies test are uber-hard compared to the ones I used to have before. Last time on the history test about the French Revolution, I only got 30/40 and only VG ;_; That being, I was utterly surprised when I got back my test and freaked out and almost fainted. I got a 36 out of possible 36. OMG! I'm so happy! Now I can actually get an MVG, which is 5 points more. And I just happen to hate social studies. *is on purple little clouds* I never aced a social studies test before... Because I totally suckers at those things... I still can't believe it. Perhaps it's becase I wrote 7 pages and was the second last one to leave. (The guy who wrote 10 pages got VG+ and he was the only left when I left the room.)

I was lingering in the classroom after social studies with Olivia when we were supposed to be going to seventh period, and she asked our teacher what her grade on her Egypt report was. Our teacher told her to dig through the pile of reports on the cabinet or chair or I forget to find hers, so she did. Feeling bored, I did too^^ AND I GOT A 97%^_____________________________________^ I am so happy that it's creepy. I was sure I got a B- or a C

After a C+ in Calc first semester, I got a 91 on my first test of this semester. I was so surprised when I got the test that I squeaked. Right in front of my class. That was spiffy. ^-^

Well, in my course I’m taking for landscaping we don’t really get ‘grades’ we get ‘merits’ or ‘completes. Completes just mean you bothered to do the assignment even if you did terrible on it. Merit means you got most if not all questions on a worksheet review correct. So far we’ve done turf, pests, herbaceous plants (perennials and annuals.) and woody plants. I know I got merits for all of them, which included a bit of tough math.
Soooo…if I had to put a grade to myself I’d say I’m averaging about 90% or something. Which is good for me, considering I was terrible in high school., probably because I hated it more then…*mind goes blank* uh…something I really, really hate…a lot.

I got an A! My science teacher has our grades posted online, and I just checked mine! I have an A!!!!!!!111oneone I thought I was going to get a B this quarter, but I have a border line A. It could go down since we have a test before the end of the quarter, but we also have our notebooks which I will probably do well on. So, despite the fact that I struggle in science, I will probably get an A. *spazzes*

Progress report came in the mail today...
Science - A+ (ha, all that extra credit CAN pull you out of a failing situation) Language Arts - B+ Social Studies - B+ Spanish - A Religion - B Algebra - C+ (not as bad as I feared)
Yeeeeah...Eri's Algebra needs some work. Must bring up grade before third quarter ends. @.@
