Well, I live where Eil' Gidian takes place. Not in the town, but in the state. Heh, if you're ever down by Danbury stop by New Fairfield... in a small dirt road off of Sawmill you'll find the pond, the river, everything... I'll go back someday myself. When I graduate I'll go back there.... away from Ohio, back to the trees and the forest and the deer.

Yeah, I didn't really mean it, I didn't think you'd be available, anyway. But someday! *grins* Definitely.

Yeah, I don't think I could ever move far away from my woods *would be hugging woods butcan't reach while typing* You live near the woods? Lucky. That's my dream. I once stayed two days in a Montana ranch house that belongs to some friends of my parents. They don't have back yards: they have ACREGE. After that my family went to Yellow Stone, which was right nearby, for three days. Those were the best five days of my life. All I wanted was to return to that ranch house and live there for the rest of my life, frollicking with their animals (they had four dogs, two cats, two horses, and a dozen chickens) and exploring the seemingly endless land around and cooking over an open fire at night and lighting sparklers and swinging on tree branches and rolling down grassy hills and tracking wild life and dipping in the stream and just living to the absolute fullest. I HATE this miserable city. I hate it with a passion. I hate the concrete sidewalks and asphalt roads that cover up and smother whatever would grow beneathe them. I hate looking out the window and seeing only cars and a few unnatural plants that humans decided should grow. I hate this world of mediated experiences, artificialities. Everything that surrounds me is 100% syntheticic. I hate it. Why ever did humans decide to do this to themselves? It's disgusting and wrong and just plain no fun. Such a cruelty fate has bestowed upon me, delivering a country girl to a city home. I've lived in this miserable house all my life. My only comfort is the tree in my back yard and the desert wilderness that I am occasionally allowed to escape to. *looks out the window to the mountains that loom in the near distance* Coyote Cliff, my own secret spot in the wilderness that I share only with my closest friend and another of hers, is constantly calling to me. I wish I could go to it more often, but there are just so many little conditions that have to be just right for me to be able to go, that I rarely ever get to. In a year I have been to it only twice. When did we decide to put ourselves in a prison of synthetics? And why do we insist on spreading that prison accross the face of the Earth?

What Ember just said is why I never want to live in a city. I could never live anywhere that wasn't surrounded on all sides by woods.

Living near a forest sounds so nice! I live near a park. It's pretty nice, because everything is all pretty in the spring. But on halloween, a bunch of stupid teenage boys were setting off fireworks in the park and everything smelled like smoke.

Heh...there's no chance I'll ever meet someone from online, at least not until I'm a legal adult.
I want to live a bit out from Fairbanks, AK, someday...I stayed just outside Fairbanks one summer with relatives, and it's the most beautiful place I've ever been....
*shrugs* Sorry. That was a little OT.
