Compliments to everyone in the mafia RP. I have become a complete mafia geek/fangirl/whatever you want to call it, and oftentimes reading all these posts is the highlight of my day. I'm in such awe at everyone's characters and their writing, and so incredibly impressed at how wide a range everyone can get - from funny to tragic and sweet to epic, it's all there and it's all phenomenally well-done. You guys are all incredible writers and roleplayers, and I'm so happy I've gotten to participate. ....sorry for murdering some of you ^^;
Bonus compliments to Carrie for running this whole shebang <3

Paging Oliver AKA doctortomoe, dr_tomoe!
I remember a little over one year ago: When I envied your skills in writing (still do, haha), and especially your participation in the poetry contest. It was the contest I dreamed of getting into, a contest I was terrified of trying for for fear of rejection.
But then you told me six words that led me to pursue it.
"You should try for Jubjub day."
I hadn't gotten in until that Ruki Day, but I was so happy when I did. And now shortly after Jubjub day, I can look back on that and smile.
Thank you, Oliver. Without you, I would probably still be too scared to try.
(I didn't want to take thread space, and a PM seemed like too little. A post in the compliments thread...<3 )

@natthewriter has an amazing planning style. Normally it takes me like two hours to come up with a story idea and she helped me come up with two in five minutes. Thanks Nat!

Mostly Harmless (flufflepuff) is awesome. She writes better than she thinks she does, she's given me so much confidence when it comes to trying my hand at poetry again after all these years, and she's just so supportive. She's a wonderful person, and I hope she knows it. Hehehe, somehow clicked on the wrong thread for this originally. XD;

Mostly Harmless (flufflepuff) is the sweetest, most encouraging person I know. I was so hesitant to get involved in other parts of this forum as well as other activities on neo, but she encouraged me and really helped me to gain confidence.

I really appreciate all that Komori contributes to this forum. She's very critical and intelligent and provides a lot of insight into areas that concern artistic talent, the mechanics and functions of the professional art world, and the reality of social injustices and societal power structures. I really appreciate seeing her bring these important issues to attention and I greatly admire her productivity and success as an artist. ^___^

Dju is a great friend and a terrific artist - she's improved a LOT from when she originally joined the NTWF, and there's nothing better than seeing someone grow as an artist

A huge thank you to Liou for being my biggest fan, the Neopian who honestly and truly was the driving force for me to finish writing a series I had nearly given up on (no kidding). You're a wonderful editor, a lovely person, and a great friend. Also, you're an awesome writer (and modest about that fact too). I love your creative spirit and aspire to be as good of a writer as you are one day. <3 Please continue to be your lovely self. A huge thanks to Geodude 🌻 for... well, I'm not sure if I ever told you this, but back in my sophomore year of college, a professor said I was "a bad writer." Even when I tried, she said, it was never good. It crushed me. For almost a year, I would literally burst into tears when forced to write something, and would openly tell friends that my work was garbage because, well, why would Dr. Pastorino lie? But you helped me to see that writing can be fun. That I should pick up my quill and try just one more time. ... I recall saying that I would never get NT Star, that hitting 10 submissions was just something I couldn't do, but you encouraged me to keep going. Thank you, Geo. For your humor, your friendship, your concern... all of it. You're a great guy and I hope that your current endeavors are enjoyable, and that you are truly happy. You deserve nothing less than the fulfillment of your dreams. I'm feeling mushy tonight, don't mind me. x)
