Yes, as well as the chrysanthemum. Congrats on going. I was thinking of applying for an exchange program, but the only time I would be able to go is duing my seinor year (this year) and I really wouldn't want to spend my last year in Japan. Woul dhave gone in 11th grade, but I barley knew enough Japanese to get around, and it didn't seem all that good to gambole around in Japan with a level 1 knowledge. ; my knowledge isn't very good, but living with a family and doing duties like a normal family increases your knowledge of japanese.. i'm scared of returning without knowledge or knowing only the words i know already of japanese, but i know i will do my best and i will know a lot when i return. also i will know Kendo and caligraphy.. i'm going to take courses about that and some other stuff ^^

Well, I asked my dad wheather the national flower is Sakura or Cyrsentimum (sp?). My dad says Sakura, my mom says crysentimum (sp?) and they quarrelled over..
