I'm going to build myself a little Harry Potter shrine on my bed. It will include: all four books, my stick wand, my witches hat, my 'Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them', and both movies. I went to see The Chamber of Secrets with my friends on opening night, and we all dressed up (Kristen looked so much like Hermione that when the movie was over, I turned and thought it was actually Hermione sitting next to me) and got sticks and stuff to wave around. I was just basic witches costume from last Halloween, Jabberwocket was Voldemort (complete with long, flowing, black hooded cloak and slicked back hair), and I already told you about Kristen. In line, we played 'ZAP' with our sticks and everyone was staring at us 'cause we were the only ones who had dressed up. We got to sit in the front row, too! After the movie was over, we just sat in there and then stood up and had wizard duels with our sticks. A few people stayed in the theatre just to watch us. We were on the news as 'the crazy high school kids who dressed up to see Harry Potter'. It was great... Yai, and then on the other hand, there was a somewhat smaller group of three SciFi'ers who got stuck in traffic, got seats smashed right up against the screen and all the way across the room from you guys (and we were lucky to get those, too, considering how many people were in the theatre), and had to leave early. It won't happen again!

Yeah that is a bit much. $43 converts to $28 in US money according to my calculator(divide by 1.5 to get US) so I agree on that one. Well my mom's paying for it anyway, and It is supposed to by 900+ pages and it was just released.
My suggestion would be to just wait until the price drops. New items especily popular ones are a bit expansive then drop after a few weeks in most cases.

Here in the US it's ,ironicly, the other way around. If you buy the book at midnight tonight it's only $18 at the store I'm going to. On amazon it's around $19 I think, and if it dosen't arrive on time you get it free. But at some bookstores on monday it'll go to it's retail price of $29.99

I got the book with a 20% discount yesterday. I could've gotten a 40% one on Amazon, but, we were there, so what the heck, I got one.
It really is great so far! I'm really enjoying it, but I'm a slow reader, so I'm only at Chapter Two.

LOL, at midnight this morning, the employees at the bookstore were wearing painted red scars on their forehead like Harry Potter has. My dad, being the joker that he is, said, "You have something on your forehead..." to one of the guys.

It goes on at £17 but I bought it for £9...I'm not sure how much that is in $ I think the action is nicely spaced out and it's quite good. I feel sorry for those who are Harry Potter deprived
