Remebering genders is very difficult in guilds, because you can't just glance at it. Then, people get really offended, and for good reasons! I hate it when people go "I don't know about Noremac-- I'll ask her." Of course, in the guild, tdyans is THE prime target for gender confusing. People ALWAYS assume she's a guy, and that her name is Tydans. =P

I don't really have much of a problem with remembering genders... the majority on neopets are girls, some are boys. As for the guild, I take a look at their lookup or guess by looking at their username. "pinkprettyfluffygirl" is probably NOT a boy. If it was a boy, I would be very scared and freaked out.

When I finished "Legends of the Seasons", I said "Tydans is one of the BEST Times authors. I'll go NeoMail them." but then, it wasn't her, so I went back and checked, and sure enough, it was tdyans, not Tydans. As for boy/girls, I can usually tell, either by their posts, or their name "IMGONNAKILLYOUWITHARAZORSHARPKNIFE" is not usually a girl, like you said. But occasionally, I get it wrong, mainly with new people. But if I don't know, I usually assume girl, since 75% or more of Neopets players are girls.

The exact same thing happened to me, except I didn't decide to neomail her. I read somewhere that 57% of the players are girls.

Medival motorcycles?! Oh jeebus crow I thought my brining guns into a medival role play with Melissa was weird.
I can only see that poor cycle being burned on a medival witch hunt.

Well, you can't ALWAYS trust the name...I mean, look at Cheshire! Everyone think he's a girl because he has cat and cheshire in his name. *looks and sees that you said "usually not"* Hehe... ;D But at first, I thought Tdyans was a boy too. And great minds think alike...I also thought it was "tydans". Took me a while to figure that one out And, of course, I know of one person who happened to think I was a boy. Rather frustrating...

Yeah. I also used to think Megz was a boy, when I first came here (and before I knew she was called Megz and not calvinseviltwin ). And I thought.... Erm...back to compliments, right?

I think she's trying to drive me absolutely, positively NUTS! She's been told about ten times, but then, in the same message that she said, "Okay, I get the whole gender thing now," she'll mention me as a she. Nothing against her, though. Everyone just takes it as a joke. She's a very creative and funny person.

. . . it sounded wrong . . . umm . . . *knocks gently on Megz's head* Get those disgusting thoughts out of there. Lol XD <-- I called you a guy once >.<
Yeah, I used to think Tdyans was a guy too ;_; Sorry, Tdyans!
And when I first read sol_luna_estrella's story, it said at the end it was based on her friend or something . . . the first owner, I thought that was . . . never mind.
And I also thought meowth4 was a guy for one time . . . *ahem* Shall I go on?

My gender is confused easily; people call me a "he" a lot online, probably because my name is unpronounceable. And it was calculated that 57% of Neopets users are female; however, that is obviously the tally of accounts and not the real number of human users (Which leads us to the question: do males or females create more accounts? Hmm.) Back to compliments. I'd like to thank: Jamez, for being so funny and helpful Megz, for being a great friend, not to mention co-writing a series with me (that was one crazy, memorable week), and being a fellow guitarist (wish me luck for my music competition this weekend!) Tracypaper, for being a cool new friend Rishiy, for believing in me after "that incident" and keeping in touch since Stoneman3x, for as I said not getting too mad when I wrongly ill-reviewed his article Meggiemufin, for being a great friend and listener Patjade, for leading us when we needed guidance and helping us through tough times Aerisa Darkyna--for being a great friend and penpal Tdyans, for being helpful, even though we aren't that close Al, for being a good friend Josh, Felicia, and Darrel, for working on the greatest newsletter ever If I forgot to mention you, feel free to send me a threatening letter to do so.
