So a couple of character-related questions popped into my mind and wouldn't leave me alone until I asked: Celestial How does Genji cope with the lack of rice in medieval England? Thorn Do the fairies of Fairy Island have pointy ears? (Kay's mum and her fellow gwradegg annwn don't btw. Tagging Coaster for this one in case she decides to play the Lady of the Lake as an NPC.)

He misses it dearly. But he found a decent enough subtitute in barley, which was familiar to him but he did not eat as much, and now has that with each meal. Genji was forced to make his own chopsticks, however.

Celestial How does Genji cope with the lack of rice in medieval England? He misses it dearly. This reminds me of a manhua I once read where the Chinese MC was teleported into an Arthurian RPG video game. She too had to handmake chopsticks, which inspired Arthur to do the same. They ended up engaging in a battle of skill over who was the better chopstick user. The Chinese MC won, of course. Thorn Do the fairies of Fairy Island have pointy ears? (Kay's mum and her fellow gwradegg annwn don't btw. Tagging Coaster for this one in case she decides to play the Lady of the Lake as an NPC.) Imma go ahead and say they don't have pointy ears, especially since Kay's mum doesn't. EDIT: In case Kay's mum was a huge factor in your decision, I just wanted to assure you that it'd be fine even if you gave Cael's people pointy ears. My own decision was based on descriptions of gwradegg annwn as completely human in appearance, which I interpreted as "they have rounded ears". But I imagine there are many sub-races of the fae that are pointy-eared. Of course, if you genuinely like the idea of rounded ears for the Fairy Island fairies then it's canon 😃

Yeah, I want them to have rounded ears for sure. I had never considered pointy ears until you suggested it! The main 'weird' thing I have going for them is the shininess.

I wonder if Cael was ever harassed by certain species of birds because, you know, shiny ✨🐦
Or if cats ever saw the tiny lights trailing in his wake and attempted to pounce on them, the way they do with laser pointer lights.

Hey Liou! Just need your response for the round 1 ending now. Unless you'd rather give it a pass? I can start off the next round if so.

I'm assuming the party split-up goes on until it's resolved in-universe, yes?
I had been thinking I'd post a reply after all the players had gone, and then have my NPC go poof. Would that be okay? I don't want to leave anybody too in the lurch, though.
(Also, for the record, should my NPC tell the others that fairies are the cause of the sudden disappearance of their companions, so they have a little more info to go on, or would the groups prefer more mystery?)

This is all good Lizica! And yeah, we'll resolve it in-universe somehow.
Up to you whether your NPC tells them!

Can't wait to see how the Fairy Island group get themselves out of this predicament XD Lizica The scene of your NPC merrily poofing off after getting the knights riled up is one I've been looking forward to, tbh Regarding your last question, I'm more partial to your NPC telling the Normal World group it was the fairies whodunnit, for the following reasons: 1) It feels like a more fitting conclusion — and imparts a stronger sense of narrative purpose — to your NPC's initial appearance 2) It has better potential to further any desired drama/conflict even after your NPC poofs ("Do we believe its claim about fairies?" "It's the best lead we've got." "I believe in fairies!" "That's not the question being asked.") That's just my personal opinion though. The final decision rests with you.
