(Open to visitors on the 31st)  Happy Halloween, everyone! This year I've gone all-out and dressed up my entire house! Come on in and experience the most fun Haunted House you've ever walked through on Halloween night! Come see my army of Jack O' Lanterns in the Front GraveYard! We have cookies and fruit punch in the Witch's Kitchen, too! Some ghastly surprises are hidden all around in the basement and Coffin Room, and I invite you all to try our selection of games in the Unliving Room! Just one minor thing. There are no treats... again. I didn't forget them! They were just... stolen. You see, it seems my Haunted House was just a little more haunted than I expected. Some real, actual ghosts have moved in and decided that my new haunt is their house! They've stolen the treat stash, and are causing a bit of mischief. Maybe if I share the bits of evidence of ghost activity that I've been collecting, we can figure out the identity of these transparent troublemakers before the night is over! Minimal/ Optional roleplay
Optional puzzle
Post here while wearing a costume and receive a piece of ghost evidence and some information
that can be used to solve the logic puzzle.
The puzzle is completely optional!
Solve on your own for fun, no need to submit an answer. Answer will be posted when festivities end!
How to Solve:
Solve the puzzle by connecting the evidence!
Find out which areas of the house are haunted by which ghosts, and which pieces of evidence are
connected to each ghost. (Relevant areas of the house are listed below. Each ghost will only haunt one room!)
Finally, discover which treats each ghost has pilfered!
Ghost Type | Room | Evidence A | Evidence B | Stolen Treat A & B
Example:
Banshee | Bathroom | Ghastly Handprint | Levitating Objects | Popcorn & Licorice
Evidence will be handed out to visitors until all evidence is distributed. The supply is limited, alas, but if I'm all out of evidence, you're free to post in costume anyway and comment on the scenario! |

Information:
I've narrowed it down to three different ghosts! Now I just have to figure out who's who!
SPIRIT
Spirits leave the most unsubtle of paranormal traces.
POLTERGEIST
Poltergeists are very active ghosts. They like to touch and move objects.
PHANTOM
Phantoms are quite shy, only leaving traces of activity behind, but are rarely seen or heard.

Sour Candies
Observations:
- I had a great display in the Front Graveyard! A huge grave-crawling zombie holding a generous bowl full of individually-wrapped Sour Candies. They've vanished... Yep, both the zombie prop and the candies. I've looked everywhere! The Jack O' Lanterns look a little guilty, but I checked and found not a single wrapper anywhere.
- The Witch's Kitchen was to be snack central in my haunted house, but with almost all of my treats getting stolen, it's far less impressive... I'm not sure why a ghost would want Bubblegum, but some shifty specter made off with the entire bag!
- The Ghost who stole the Chocolates did not steal the Lollipops.
- The ghost who left Ectoplasm stole the Lollipops.
- Candycorn was scattered across the room when it was stolen, looked like a tornado hit it!

After taking a glass of punch from the Witch's kitchen, CleoSnawpra decides it would be worth it to check out these supposed hauntings. Decked out in a beautiful gold[linen gown, CleoSnawpra fears ghosts would steal their valuable gold jewelry. They say, "I do hope no ghosts will take any of my real gold jewelry! It's all ancient and extremely expensive."
Dressed up with a Pharaoh hat and beard, Charlie the llama swipes a pumpkin cookie.

"Oh, it's Ema, hi Ema!!" A sparkly split-down-the-middle half-nebula waved frantically for some time, until realizing it was just a costume. "Ah, well, you're really selling it anyway!"
"Haunted house, huh? Yeah, I get those a lot. Even inhabit one. Which makes sense; I am the spook. But I guess one of your spooks is causing trouble? Well, we can figure this out, scientifically! Though, the ghosts might really like it, too. I think they're in an extra steal-y mood this Halloween. Be sure to secure all personal belongings! My Haunted House is a safe, family-friendly experience, but I can't be held responsible for acts of ghoul on guest's treats and jewels! Oh! You're probably waiting for me to give you a treat... Uh, here! ( Killix opens a big briefcase labelled "Court Record", and retrieves a piece of evidence.)  I've noticed that one of the ghosts really likes to throw things. I do appreciate a bit of post-holiday packing help, but it's tearing down my Haunted House a little too early... I've had to clean up a lot of strewn decorations, and I'm pretty sure a couple of the games in the Unliving Room are now missing a few pieces... Anyway, the rowdy ghost knocked over my spirit-warding salt! Maybe I should get a refund on this stuff? I guess whatever knocked it over wasn't a Spirit, anyway. Interestingly, the backup pack of Bubblegum out there was left alone and un-gooed. I guess that's one thing this ghost won't touch. |

A ghostly apparition appeared next to a Jack O' Lantern and started floating around like a spooky dandelion puff! Seems like this ghost isn't very shy at all. A strong piece of evidence for sure! ... or maybe some extra spooky dust? Either way, give it a good look and let me know if you find anything! |

CleoSnawpra is puzzled by the spilled salt and the mysterious footprint. "Whoever spilled this salt must not have been wearing shoes! They better not step on my expensive linen dress!"
Charlie the Llama examines the bubblegum. Suddenly a lamp flies past his head! He ducks just in time, and cringes as the lamp shatters against the wall.
"A flying lamp!" shrieks CleoSnawpra. "Quick, we must dive before it throws something at me and ruins my wig!"

With her dour attitude, you believe it.
She has with her a basket with a guinea pig in it, who also seems rather sad about something.
They have no hats, though you're not sure why that's something you'd notice.

Oh I haunt everywhere I go. 8D But yeah, pretty much! Ghosts are all for playing tricks, but if they're getting to the point of tearing up Halloween decorations and stealing candy... Is it possible for a ghost to hate Halloween? Either way, rude of them.
Hmm, so you caught a ghost snooping around! I wonder how it relates... *Scribbles in my notes.* I think I'll take a good look for sure. I'll head there and let you know! Detective Gelquie* is on the case!!

"A Halloween crime?" she says from beneath her pile of clothes, aghast. "Yikes. How awful! Especially after dressing up the whole house? That's dedication. I hope we can figure this out. Hmm...maybe I could check out your Unliving Room? I do like games, and I do love that pun, too!"

Woah, a great depression?? You really seem to be getting into character, even your little friend looks a touch depressed... Well, maybe my haunted house can bring a little Halloween cheer to your night? I can't offer you any treats or new hats, but how about a mystery? I was preparing my fruit punch cauldron this morning, and when I went rummaging for my cherry blood orange punch recipe, I found this strange scribbly message written on my note paper... I'm not sure exactly what this message is for, but I know I didn't write it! I have more notepads around the house, but they don't seem to have been touched. Maybe the ghost was putting in a snack request? Please take it for further study! |

I can feel the unfolding story of indecision, slowing building to an exciting crescendo of defiance and then Halloween harmony! Yeah, a hundred bags of candy stolen! On Halloween!
It's a tragedy that I don't have any real candy to hand out for the... uh, how many times in a row has it been? I'm super glad that people still want to visit each year anyway!
Feel free to browse any part of the house that you find fun or suspicious! ... or both! Here's something that might help out our investigation! (Killix opens a big briefcase labelled "Court Record", and retrieves a piece of evidence.) I was carrying a new Jack O' Lantern out to the big display, when I suddenly slipped on some slimy stuff! There was a trail going all the way out the front door and far into the Front GraveYard. My Jack O' Lanterns were covered in it... It didn't clean up easily! Worst of all, I can't tell if the ghost liked my Jack O' Lanterns, or hated them enough to do sabotage! But this is some pretty significant evidence, so I made sure to save a bit. Maybe you can gleam some more information from this sample! |

When they come upon the basement door, they point to it and ask, "Anything fun down here?" Ohh, greetings my grisly new guest! What a fantastic Spirit of Winter you are! Appropriate for the incoming cold weather, too! I kinda wish I'd chosen such a warm costume... *Shiver* Oh, you slay me with flattery! Of course there's fun in the Basement! My house is packed with fun! I've turned it into a veritable fun house, but all spooky and Halloween themed, of course. Here, take this down there with you! I was cleaning up after that messy ghost, when I heard the strangest thing coming from somewhere inside the house. It was back for more destruction no doubt! I quickly grabbed my parabolic microphone from the Basement, but the voice stopped by the time I came back upstairs. So I set out some treats to try to lure it back! I made a big pile of chocolates, sour candies and bubblegum... and it worked! I heard that otherworldly voice again! ... but this time, the ghost was crying. Maybe it didn't like my treats? Maybe a closer listen to these recordings will help our investigation? |

On his way home from the theatre after a long night of ToT, CursedPirate!Riel hears a call for help off in the distant bloidverse and decides to search it out... stumbling right into an all-out haunted house!
"Wow!" he says as he briefly looks around. "Varry nice decoration." He then notices there is some kind of investigation going on, and a lab coated creature tells him what's happened. "Oooh... ghosts are an annoying bunch, that's fer sure. Always so whiny about not being 'mongst the living."
He pokes his head in the bathroom. "Anything out of the ordinary here? Other than the fact the toilet paper is being hung the wrong way."
