Happy anniversary, Mafia III!! I did forget, but I'm glad others didn't because of all the cool contributions and memories here! Lizica, I love how you portrayed snapshots of those memories of different parts of the cast. =D Piper putting photography to good use! Or more likely someone else because WEBSTEEEEERRR. (And oh gosh, Photobucket. Yet it almost fits so well. x'D ) And ah, PFA, Bardsley looking the kindly professor as always and just minding his own business reading~ <3 And he's doing paper art! I'm so glad he's doing so well for himself. Alas, I forgot, so I have nothing to offer. Besides perhaps some reminiscing. It's been 10 years for us, yet sometimes I wonder. What does the town look like 10 years later? (Mafia III spoilers) Is the town still run by the Mafia? Has Hermia ever managed to sabotage it from the inside? Was she ever caught? Has the townspeople ever gotten an upper hand, or at least their own community where they can be free of some scrutiny? How much has the town grown? The resistance? Or even the Mafia?
And what old horses are gone and new horses are present in Kylie's stable? The important question here! (I'll imagine Prue is still alive, not as old as Chamomile around game-time, but starting to get closer to an older age. Still young enough though!)

I kinda imagine that the mafia falls apart after not TOO too long. I mean, Hermia and Alma are both reluctant members, Piper's constantly trying to booby trap Bardsley, Travis is...Travis, so I dunno. XD The town is strong and resilient and now knows who the enemies are, and the mafia doesn't have a resurrection potion any more.
I DO, however, need the mafia downfall to be hilarious. xP (And obviously satisfying and cathartic to all the individual growth arcs and characters, obviously, yes, but also THE POTENTIAL HUMOR.)
.....How many Hunger Games films have been released since this game happened? And X'D mandatory Bardsley/Pallada wedding, oh no. Do they exchange really long, winding, academic-toned vows?

Ah, my apologies for posting over you, Lizica! I can see that scenario happening, yeah. Especially since, while Julie does seem to join the fray at the end... ....Well, without giving too much away of an after-plot in my head, let's just say that you're probably not going to see her around too often, so the townsfolk probably shouldn't worry about her.
Anyway, yeah, I can totally buy the Mafia falling, what with the cracks in the facade, and the strongest Mafia members being... uhh, preoccupied. xD It would be so cool if something significant happened at the maybe-wedding.
But individual Mafia downfalls would be so neat! And probably hard to pull off writing-wise, but still, that has strong potential for mental images. 8D
All but the first one, apparently. Noooo, of course not, they're not long, droning, and boring, they are LOVELY and I can't imagine a better set of wedding vows!!! Academic is perfect, and so are they. Absolutely. Yes. ='D

I was going to say that Pallada's vows would be longer-winded than Bardsley's, but I could see her rubbing off on him to the point that he starts getting long-winded, too. XD And then nobody can stand talking to either of themRe: spoiler stuff, I had some fairly specific plans with Bardsley and Cassidy that I hoped would happen in an eventual Mafia 4, but idk if that's ever happening at this rate XD But I do agree that the mafia would probably collapse on itself eventually, there's WAY too much infighting lol

Aww. xD Murdershipping can be kinda sweet--when it wants to be. x'D Oooh, you all are making me curious about what you had planned for Julie and Cassidy. =O For me, Piper's pseudo-redemption arc was kinda dependent on the winner of the game and its tone. If the story had gone in a more positively triumphant direction and town had won, I think I would have tried to write it so she started to come around a bit quicker about what all she did wrong. x'D So, mafia may've won, but I do still imagine that she gets there eventually. Just, may take a whiiiiile longer. (She did at least already have a traumatizing hell experience and then her best friend her nemesis showed her a chasm reminder/warning of what not to become. Also: New hobbies can be good for you! Like bothering the heck out of your murderer with sand! ) It would be so cool if something significant happened at the maybe-wedding. *reads this half an hour ago* *agrees* *returns later with late night snack* *reads it again* Brain: .... .... .... Bardsley and Pallada leave town to go on their honeymoon. Travis throws another house party. The newly wedded couple returns. This is the last straw for Bardsley holding together the mafia. Everybody get out of Juan's house NOW Me: ....XD Interesting thought, Brain~

Absolutely beautiful rendition of Rilen, Miko, and Barbra, Lizica . Would Pallada's and Bardsley's wedding be mafia only or open to mandatory for all the townsfolk? Being from the mainland, I doubt Rilen would attend anyway, but you never know. Hey-key want Mafia IV to start in the middle of the wedding and then someone gets LE MURDEREDI wanna say Rilen finished his Engineering degree but never did anything with it. Probably tried a music career and/or tried opening a sandboard shop rental store but is just a slave to the gig economy at this point. Also he probably dated and/or married some florist. Maybe. And Barbra is now a realz big plant that takes up the whole living room? Mostly Harmless (flufflepuff)

Bardsley would love it. I do wonder how a ghost would be able to manifest a wedding dress, but hey, details.

Everybody get out of Juan's house NOW Me: ....XD Interesting thought, Brain~ They can, it's uncanny. XD Well, I was planning on 1) having Cassidy be my PC in Mafia 4, 2) having Bardsley eventually track her down (continuing the Mafia tradition of having a major villain from the previous RP make an appearance), so a lot of the specifics would have depended on what happened in the RP. XD I wouldn't want to force a Mafia 4 just for my sake though, so maybe I'll just write it out at some point, lol. Maybe tracking down Cassidy would have been the honeymoon
And LOL Bardsley would absolutely lose it Would Pallada's and Bardsley's wedding be mafia only or open to mandatory for all the townsfolk? Being from the mainland, I doubt Rilen would attend anyway, but you never know. Hey-key want Mafia IV to start in the middle of the wedding and then someone gets LE MURDEREDIt would almost definitely be mandatory attendance for everyone XD I had some vague plans for post-game storylines, can't comment on whether any of them ever happened, but I like to think Bardsley and Pallada got married at some point, those lovebirds XD I also headcanon that. xD Diana would give a huge speech about the history of marriage, and her vows would be long, convoluted, and murderous. I do wonder how a ghost would be able to manifest a wedding dress, but hey, details. Disclaimer: I know nothing of Mafia. But the combination of 'ghost', 'manifest', and 'wedding dress' couldn't help but remind me of Heaven Official's Blessing, a popular Chinese BL novel. In the novel, ghosts that have attained a sufficient level of power are able to manifest corporeal forms. The love interest is a Supreme-level ghost king, so not only is he powerful enough to have a physical body, he's also a habitual shapeshifter who can literally swap outfits at the snap of a finger. His first meeting with the protagonist was extremely wedding-coded: (The one with the black eye patch is the ghost in case you're wondering)
