I need one more visitor to my ToT house, if anyone here wants to pop in?
The ghosts might just get away with their candy-pilfering crime.

The candy shall be saved!! (Just trying to resolve a RL thing first, while sick, lol.)
I want to give a quick kudos to the internet for existing so I can still have a (relatively) safe social-life while utterly sick and contagious.

*sending healing viiiiibes!!* <3 On a ToT note, I'd like to think that ToT!Lizica will probably keep trying to gather up her hats in Sylvia's theatre for awhile, and then eventually, obliviously look up and be like, "...Where'd everybody go? .....Is the magic show over?" On an RL Halloween note, I wanted to note down two decorations I saw this season that I feel like deserved commemorating in a post. XD One was this crazy one where a bunch of skeletons were posed under a tall pole from which a mirrorball dangled. Then when we drove by at night, we saw it was lit up with multicolored disco lights. XD The second is more a Thanksgiving thing, but still. (CW for needle mention?) At the clinic where I get my infusion medicine, they had an inflatable turkey sitting in a chair in the lobby, and they'd taped him up to an IV! =O (When I complimented the secretary on it, she said he was getting a marinade infusion. XDD) Did you all see any super cool or really creative Halloween decorations this year? =D

Lizica My Halloween was very understated, but in our new neighbourhood, there was a huge seven-eight foot inflatable pumpkinhead, which was very extravagant. I respect that committment to Halloween.

Did you all see any super cool or really creative Halloween decorations this year? =D My next-door neighbor put up some fake, light-green "goo" and had an open-air candy station surrounded by toy monsters. xd We dangled a giant plastic spider under our doorbell. Most of the decorations seem to have been pretty simple/muted, though. There were four groups of kids that came by over the course of the evening. I was really tired and slept through the first part of the evening but I did manage to be awake to hand out candy to the last group, some little girls dressed as fairies. It was a nice Halloween overall.

I get a long weekend... Of doing nothing in particular because I can't go anywhere. (And of course, it's during this time that my headphones break. I can get it to working condition, but it's fiddly. I have a pair of earbuds if I need it, but I... kinda don't like wearing earbuds, lol.)
Anyway, Halloween decorations! There were a lot of them, really. I saw a cool one of a inflatable dragon with a light inside that looked like flames were really brewing within. Then I saw a really cool tall grim reaper.

I love these Halloween decorations!! XD <3
Also, one more shoutout to a person who's kept up their gigantic skeleton (one of those ones from Home Depot? Lowes? don't remember), and has now draped it in Christmas lights. xP

There weren't many Halloween decorations in my little neighborhood; I think my place had the most decor actually from what I saw xD Pulled a number of items from my parents' basement that they weren't using and thrifted some items of my own, so there was some Halloween tinsel on the front door and window, light-up plastic pumpkins and a cauldron on the front porch, and some jack-o-lantern-themed bags with LED candles on the steps leading up to the door. I also decorated a real pumpkin, but I think I carved it a bit too early as by the time Halloween came, it was already looking rather sad xD (hid that slightly behind a pillar on the porch as a result lol). We don't get trick-or-treaters as there are tons of other, better neighborhoods for the dozen kids around us to go to, but I wanted to decorate for myself lol.
My parent's neighborhood had much better decorations, though. One of the houses also had that gigantic skeleton that's as tall as the house, and one of the houses went all out and filled their yard with figurines, cobwebs, and set pieces xD I took a couple walks in that neighborhood during October and I actually avoided the sidewalk of that house, just because I didn't know if any of those figurines would make noise or move if I came too close lol.

Any nice plans for this week?
It's American Thanksgiving on Thursday for me, so I'll be having lunch with the family at my grandma's house.

I'll be making soup on one of the days and using that for leftovers, and I'll add hawaiian rolls to the mix. My appetite's low and I have some nausea thanks to meds, so I'll just prolong it over several days with a safe food. Got rice, Better than Boullion, various spices that include safe one, then potatoes, green beans, and brussel sprouts. That should last me a good while.
Then after my last work day tomorrow for the week, unless someone wants to do something like a Jackbox game or something, and if I'm not contemplating life lessons, I'll probably find a long video game or activity and put myself entirely into it and just disappear from reality for a while. I think I earned that much.
