Hi everyone!
It's been a long time. I was part of this forum in 2009 and published a few pieces in the NT back then. My biggest passion was the Storytelling competition, which I always found to be lots of fun.
Recently, I rediscovered Neopets. I was surprised to see that my account still existed, and I've slowly been getting back into the site. From what I see, the user base has declined a lot and the contests I used to participate in take place far less regularly now. Still, I'm excited to do some fictional writing, as lately, almost all of my writing has been either for work or for my travel blog.
How is everyone doing? I'm looking forward to catching up and meeting everyone who is active at the moment.
Also, I read that there's a Discord where people regularly hang out, which I think sounds like fun. Could anyone please send me an invite link?

Hello! I'm comparatively new so this is a brand-new hello, but I am active at the moment so I'll go ahead and say hello.
I mostly make comics myself, though I started after you were active.
What sort of fiction writing are you planning?

Hello there, welcome back! I don't believe we've met before, so it's nice to meet you :3 Neopets has indeed slowed down over the years, but there's still at least enough people creating to keep the contests running haha. I'm not a Storytelling person myself, but we have plenty of people here who keep up with it, and if you'd like I'm sure they'd be happy to update you on how the contest is run these days!

Thank you for the warm welcome! It's nice to meet you and I'm very happy that some people are still active here. And, of course, that there are still enough active Neopets users to keep the creative contests going. June, I admire everyone who can do comics. I looked through my NT publications recently and realised that I once published a comic. I can't even remember how I did that, as I certainly wouldn't have the skills today. Right now, I'm thinking about writing a story for the Holidays edition (if I can get it done on time). I'm not sure if I'll be able to fit it into the short story format, though. Has anyone every submitted a two-piece series for a special day? Could it get accepted, with the first part coming out in the Holiday edition? I also found a half-finished series that I wrote back in the day that I eventually want to finish. I'm still trying to figure out what I was thinking about back then, because it currently ends with a cliffhanger and I really want to know how it continues...
