 Happy Halloween, friends! This year I ordered some super high-quality candy from the finest online Halloween supplier I could find! Ahh... Unfortunately, some things got mixed up in the mail, and I received this box of decorative Halloween pieces instead. Since I don't have anything else, I guess I'll hand 'em out like candy! (but they're definitely not candy, so don't try to eat them.) Well, perhaps you can put these decorations to great use in your own spooky set-up? Or... at least they might make a fun prop to carry around with you on your Halloween night. Uh. Enjoy! Come on in dressed in costume and request a treat!

Charle the llama is also intrigued. Wearing a cowboy hat and star-shaped badge, the purple llama is excited to know what treat shall come their way.

I couldn't agree more that Halloween has so much to offer beyond sugar. *Reaches into the box.*  Like uh, this chameleon skeleton prop? With a monkey tail, rat feet and... bone tongue? Eghh... Maybe Halloween should actually stop offering these. I suppose the most impressive thing about this is how it glows in the dark! Even if an ethereal green glow is very inaccurate for a chameleon... It fits the Halloween vibe! Happy Halloween! |

June accepts the prop. "I think the worst skeleton prop I've seen is one for a spider. The thing about spiders is they have an exoskeleton and no bones at all, not that it stopped the manufacturer.

A pair of very toned and shapely legs is skipping merrily up to Killix's abode, the large fish head on top flopping haphazardly from side to side with every bounce.
The mermaid pauses in front of the door and straightens their head enough to greet you with an excited tap dance and flipper waggle.

A person wearing a mish-mash of an owl cape, a science-y business casual outfit, and holding a pen and paper, approached Killix and looks her over.
"Ah, a new boney outfit! Very nice. Very good use of recycling too. Same with the Halloween decorations. Look on the bright side; probably not a lot of people get toys for their presents!"
The person casually hid their disappointment for not getting a tasty high-quality Halloween treat, as they were sincere in their commentary. ...But then besides, knowing Killix, it'd probably be a high-QUALITY treat. They still remembered that candy apple...
They shook their head. Well, this treat probably wouldn't end in a taste-based nightmare. Not unless they were going out of their way to grow another grudge. "Well, what sort do you got?"

My Halloween has been great! I love seeing all of the trick or treaters and their costumes! Or, well... an approximation of a frog's skeleton with a lot of artistic freedom applied.
Interesting choice of colour, too. I wonder if it glow- yeeouch!!

I'm going to pretend that this frog was cursed by an angry witch or something. Then it makes sense! Kinda.

Or maybe it was Halloween fate? :O I suppose I do take pride in my unique treats every year. Maybe the mix up wasn't all that bad! Let's see which fated treat Halloween has for you! *Reaches into the box, deeper than before.*  An owl! It's unsettling-ly fitting...? Oh wait, no! The unsettling feeling is coming from those bone feathers and incorrectly positioned toes... and does it have dragon horns?
*Sighs, defeated*
I suppose in the "Halloween Store Alternate Universe", owls have these extremely frighteningly inaccurate features. I have to wonder if whoever made these statues is actually an evil genius.

You're right, it's surprisingly accurate, both in what it's supposed to represent and what it ultimately doesn't! Also the hidden horror if you look too closely. Thank you! I will, uh... treasure this treat! Y'know, as abstract art.
"Happy Halloween to you too and all your skeletal-ness! For now, I must go. For paperwork awaits, and no paperwork will survive the mighty beak of my pen!"
'Night Owl' zooms off, holding their treasure high in hand, until they run right into the side of the door frame.
"Ow," they say, briefly rubbing their face. Then they take one step to the side, bring their treasure high in hand, and rush out once more!
