Liou"Hm, yes, if they're all old and need to be rid of, then it's just a matter of doing it, isn't it? I agree that textiles are a bother to deal with, but unless you want to set moths on them and wait a few years for them to devour the clothes, then it's best to just get it over with." The owl thoughtfully grooms a wing. "Perhaps one could dance while clearing out the closet, to make it less of a chore?"

The ordinary person gently and repeatedly taps their hands together. "Some good ideas, thank you! Let's see, an owl, or some other woodland creature, or an ornithologist, or a writer! Which of these? Hmm, let's see..."
They walk away to ponder. After hours that feels like days, they return. Now they have adorned themself with a cape portraying owl wings, an owl hat, a business casual outfit with a button-up shirt and pens in their front pocket, and a pen and notepad in their hand scribbled with notes and a very child-lik scrawl of an owl.
"Hi! So I took your advice, and I couldn't quite decide between the choices, so I just... made something work! I hope it does work." They twirl around in their amateur-ish outfit.
"Anyway, I wanted to come by to thank you! But I also wanted to talk to you again, because you're here giving all of these people advice. But you have to have problems too, right? So if you have a problem, allow me the opportunity to give you advice! What's on your mind?"

"Whoooooo's that Owl-mon?" Riel, dressed as practitioner of some ancient and clandestine wisdom, starts as he journeys toward the owl.
An owl who grants slices of wisdom? Why, who was more wise than Riel in his wisest, most clandestine form?
"Oh owl fair," Riel poetically waxes, "I shall ask advice thusly: who is wiser, thee or me?"

RielCZThe owl ruffles their feathers. "The wisest of all seeks not to compare their wisdom to others," astutely answers the owl.

Gelquie"A stunning outfit indeed!" says the owl. They then tilt their head in thought. "I did just have a visitor call into question my wisdom. How do I prove myself the wiser one? I did declare myself the wiser of the two of us in a roundabout way, but it occurs to me if they aren't all that wise, it'll go over their head, and if they are indeed wise enough to catch that, then I'll have to further prove my wisdom." The owl flaps their wings. "My very reputation is on the line here!"

Riel ponders this seeming mic drop and is not displeased. "Hmm, you may be correct, wise owl," he starts, nodding, as he wraps his robe about himself. "I would say you've won this round, though that would imply comparison, so say it I shan't." He smiles, self-satisfied.
Before he'd otherwise embark, he hears the owl request assistance from the person with the stunning outfit, so he waits around to hear if anything else relevant is discussed.

The 'Night Owl' had overheard the conversation, and looked thoughtful about it. "Hmm. Well, when it comes to matters of wisdom, I often find it wiser to not involve oneself in such competitions. Competitions of wisdom and concerns of reputation are inherently removed from the subject. So by removing yourself from head-to-head petty competitions, you're reserving your energy for that which matters, which in itself is a wiser approach. Observers may well see that, and you can briefly note that without seeming conceited."
The 'Night Owl' pauses for a brief moment. "But I would go even further to say that wisdom is very relative. You probably know the adage: True wisdom is knowing that you know nothing. Wisdom is gained from growth, be it through experience, reflection, or lessons learned from others. And there's no endpoint to it, or beings would never learn and change. There will always be things one doesn't know or understand, and that's okay; it's part of life.
"But it's not hopeless; everyone knows something. Our wisdom is shaped by our life experiences, and then how much we delve into wisdom. A simple farmer who has never cared for enlightenment will still have wise adages that shape their thoughts and help teach others. We all come from different perspectives and forms of wisdom. If we're open to seeing that, we can continue to learn and grow. If one is not open to your wisdom, perhaps they need a different perspective to become open, even if it's from someone else. You've opened the door; it is up to the student to enter."
The 'Night Owl' stops. "...Wow, I kinda went on there, didn't I? I still have much to learn on the wisdom of brevity, I see."

The owl takes in their costumed counterpart's wisdom and advice. "Indeed, wisdom comes in many forms." Turning to the doubter, the owl says, "Perhaps I have misjudged you, for even the simple farmer has wisdom to share. There's no need to prove myself the wiser, for we each have our wisdom to share. "Besides," adds the owl, "It's better to save energy for more important matters. Such as hunting up a tasty meal. "Farewell, travelers, for the night grows old, and I've still a supper to catch." And with that, the owl swoops into the night, its silhouette strong against the crescent moon.
