Custom thumbnails made by TNT used to be given to select Neopian Times entries, unique to the stories and characters within them, but it's been years since they were given and unlikely that they'll be coming back anytime soon. Understandable, given the work TNT has on their plates right now, but I feel like the excitement and novelty of having your own personal thumbnail is still possible with today's Neopian Times. Although technically not official Neopets art, I wanted to offer my own artistic services! If you've got a story, series, article, or comic (anything at all really!) that you'd like a personalized thumbnail for, I'd be more than happy to create what you have in mind! I've done a couple before, like this series thumbnail for Mostly Harmless (flufflepuff) back from 2015, and most recently this thumbnail for a pending short story by Carolyn : If interested, feel free to post on this thread or message me directly! This offer is free, so don't worry about paying or giving anything in return. I just want to help give people's stories that extra personal touch and hopefully bring back some of the fun of custom thumbnails! :3

That Rohane thumbnail's going to get mistaken for official art, Twillie!
I have nothing queued up right now, but I might take you up on the offer next time I write a short story or something. Might make for a change of pace. Though I mean, in my case I can do my own art, so it's not as important, it'd just be for fun.

Twillie, I HAVE been considering asking an artist to do a custom pic for my series for the Meridell/Darigan collab, A Hero's Journey: It Takes Two. So I'd like to take you up on this offer. Kat Yeah, I could definitely make something for your series! :3 I can give the first couple parts a read, and I guess it depends on whether you had any specific ideas of what you'd like the thumbnail to be. If you'd prefer for me to come up with the design, I could also peruse the rest of the story for inspiration. Or if you did have any specifics, do feel free to let me know anything you had in mind (can be as general or specific as you'd like), and we can go from there!

Absolutely yes! I really, really missed these from the old Neopian Times and I'm so happy to see custom thumbnails making a comeback like this!
I always wondered what thumbnails I would've gotten for my stories, so I would love to take you up on the offer.

At the moment I'm thinking of having ones for some of my already published stories. Especially for my first NT entry from years ago; Beneath the Haunted Woods (Issues 711 - 717).
Having custom thumbnails for my previous entries, The Lost Tomb of the Old Kingdom (875-877) and The Scorned House (857-859) would be welcome as well.

CrimsonShroud Alrighty, I'll go ahead and look into Beneath the Haunted Woods first then! It'll likely take me some time to read through each of the series alongside drawing for them, especially since I'll be starting a new job the end of this week and into the next, so there may be some waiting periods in between thumbnails. For now I'll focus on the first series, and then we can go from there in seeing how the timeline may look :3
