Rainbow PoolClothing is archeologists (possibly based on one of the characters from Jurassic Park, if New Features is any indication) I think it's a bit redundant to have a Tyrannian Chomby, seeing as Chombies are originally from Tyrannia. Looks like a cross between My Little Pony and Neopets. On paper, definitely seemed like a good idea, but not in reality.

My gripe with the Tyrannian Chomby is that they went with an ankylosaur, when I feel they should have stuck with the sauropod inspiration. Even if it would be stepping on Pokemon's shoes a little, they could have made it like Amargasaurus, which is what Amaura and Aurorus are based on. Or maybe even Diplodocus, with an extra-long tail.

They updated the design after a lot of the feedback that was given, with the face made to look more like a Chomby, the spikes on its back updated to have correct perspective, and the split on the tail tip removed.
I liked the original design alright, although I could definitely understand a number of criticisms given like the deviation from usual site art and the strange perspective. I do appreciate TNT being able to roll with the critiques and updating the design, since I know as an artist it isn’t easy having to hear a lot of it all at once. I think the changes they’ve made are definitely for the better, it’s a cool design!

Tyrannian Chomby: Oh boy, this one! Should have really posted when this was current but better late then never. Being they changed it to actually look more like a Chomby I won't comment much on the old design, still, plenty of thoughts to have: 1. Dinosaur Tyrannian: Yes, while it does seem strange that a dinosaur Neopet was given Tyrannian, is it any stranger for the few aquatic species we've seen get Maraquan? I'm welcome to the idea if they could do something interesting with it like the aquatic Maraquans, speaking of which. 2. Sauropod to Ankylosaur: I actually like that idea. Just as they make Maraquan aquatic Neopets a different species of marine life, it makes sense a Tyrannian dino Neopet would morph to a different kind of dinosaur. And considering the Chomby's body proportins, I think an ankylosaur was a pretty good choice. BTW, also remember that the Chomby had the back spikes of a stegosaurus, so already the Chomby was taking liberties with being a sauropod. Though that now makes me wonder if they shouldn't have also given the Tyrannian Chomby something additional like triceratops horns or a parasaurolophus crest (or maybe make it woolly like an ice age animal). The main problem with the original was they completely changed the head, the spikes didn't look quite right, and the colors were too bright. But, the new version did address all these problems... even though light blue is still an odd color for Tyrannian but I guess its for the Jurassic World reference *shrugs*. Also, for those who liked the original, I say bring it back as a Petpet, like they did for those April Fool species: Ellie Chomby: I'm also sad that all this controversy overshadowed a great clothing set. Remember everyone, they do move in herds.
