Actually I thought of a better idea, partially based on something we discussed on Discord. xD
New Title: Drenched in Steel
Type: Short Story (might be promoted to a series)
Description: Maria, a.k.a. the Slightly Less Evil Drenched sister, is transferred from Maraqua detention to Faerieland detention after good behavior and approval from both King Kelpbeard and Queen Fyora. It is here where she picks up a love for music, mainly hard rock and metal. Soon, the other sisters (Petra and Paulina) join her in Faerieland detention, and after approval from the Faerie Queen, are allowed play concerts and share their music with others. The newly reformed Drenched form the band "Drenched in Steel" and begin to draw large crowds in Faerieland. However, all this attention makes it difficult for the Drenched to execute their more sinister plot...

Okie, the list should be up to date here as well (as far as I know). Feel free to post here if you have any updates/want to join in. I'll add you here. June, Kat, and I have a Google Sheet with Aesop so he knows who is entering. \o/ Huzzah

Gonna make a heads up here too, my series for this collab might change from The Voices of Brightvale to A Hero's Journey: Masquerade (alternate title being A Hero's Journey: Deed It or Beat It) but I'll be sure to let you guys know. The latter was supposed to be my holiday short story, but then I thought of turning it into a series and submitting it if my first idea doesn't quite pan out.
AHJ: Masquerade is about the NQII heroes infiltrating a New Year's masquerade party to recover a stolen public deed for the Neovian village of Nevermore. The performing arts bit comes in with dances and more importantly, battle dances. The moral of the story is, don't swordfight in a formal suit, it's a pain.

I realized that I have 3 performing arts in this series - dance, a string quartet, and the COMBAT ARTS
Final word count: 11,594 words, 5 parts.

My partner and I already submitted the last version of our PA comic (Performing Arts: Poetry?, a very generic title) the other day as well!
Thanks June for the neomail reminder, by the way.

Hi, all! Aesop just reached out to us about the collaborative issue a few minutes ago. Reposting part of his message below: We agreed that next week would be better to give him ample time to prepare for the issue (and to avoid it being a stressful endeavor). Look forward to fantastic content on the 29th of January! Tagging all NTWF folks so that they are aware of the change: Stephanie (swordlilly)homsareggplantDuke PikachuGeo 🇺🇦 🌻HerdyAllisonRielCZWith this in mind, the new deadline is January 27th for the Performing Arts Collab. So far he has 9 articles, 5 short stories, 16 comics, and 4 series! Thanks, as always, for your continued interest in the Great Collabs! Happy creating to all!

A (mostly) original musical in 3 acts, 16k+ words, ~15 original songs (and ~5 songs based off existing ones), and 7-8 allusions to other plays/musicals. I'm not crazy, you're crazy.
And aw man, had I know it'd be extended, I could have had time to notate out and supply some simple MP3s of the pieces before sending it into Aesop haha.
