Well! Seems like every medium with a hair tie is just so keen about helping ghosts pass on, are they? In that case, however, since we're newly acquainted, Pixie, I think I've a small job you could handle. I've sworn not to leave until everything in my town of Creaky Ridge is exactly as it should be. Not a terribly tall order, no? So perhaps you'd care to help me out by breaking into city hall and flipping a manual switch for me? I've been unable to override it through the electrical circuits, and I want to disrupt the meeting before those buffoons vote to add the tagline "Where creeks creak!" beneath the Creaky Ridge welcome sign. It is very much possible! *she offers a little floral teacup to Amani.* Lemon tea, see, it is very soothing. That's why I carry it with me- because people might need it! We drink the tea and have a chat. Sometimes there's other stuff that needs doing first- like my friend Scarlet, right, she tried to kill us. Before she was my friend. She needed a lot of help before I knew she'd be okay. So sometimes tea isn't the only thing you need, but if you want to help bring peace to others, I think having lemon tea and the willingness to listen is a good start! He projects himself into my dreams from his home plane, yeah! It's super cool. Usually he shows me places from my history in dreams- like once, a few weeks back, he took me back to the childhood home I don't even remember! Apparently we lived there before we moved to the city. But he showed me this beautiful meadow and stream one time, and said that it was a place from his home instead of my memories. I'd like to see it for real one day. I'd like to see him for real, but...one day! R-right, well, lemon tea doesn't hurt, at least! *Smiles and nods.* ...*It tapers.* But she... tried to kill you? I wonder how that all happened... Oh, so he does have a home plane! It sounds like a lovely place. Maybe one day you can visit that plane, then, for real! Not that the dreams aren't good, sounds like the next best thing! He sounds like a really good guide... And it can be so special to meet someone very special in person, and I hope you get to one day. He sounds like he gives you his own brand of peace. Maybe they were from the future? Well in the future past the 15000s! This distracted Amani long enough that they miss most of the phone "fixing" until it's nearly returned to them. They gingerly accept it back, startled by a spark.* Well, uh, it's... it's shiny? ...And seemed to send some messages? ...Well, maybe it needed to get it out of its system! But I, uh, I would thank you, but I think I'm going to test it first... *Holding the phone well away.* ... ...Of course, now that I actually want to take a photograph, I can't remember how to do it! So uh, I guess I'll figure out the messages- Amani, I think if you search in something named "the dark web," which is presumabely a place which is not very well-lit, I think you could find many things that can give you peace! I hear that they're not all legal, though. And... the things in that list do not strike me as particularly simple, really. They require a lot of effort, I think! I dunno, "eating well" isn't too hard, and besides, even a really good meal can't bring the Peace I feel! ...But a dark web, hmm? Oh, of course! My Peace is always stigmatized, of course a regular Google wouldn't know it! Perhaps the dark web has more info on it, maybe someone else who's achieved the same Peace I have, or knows how to enhance it! *Gets to their phone, and is shocked by another spark, which opens up a browser.* Ah, of course! That's what the fix must have done, taking me closer to the dark web to get the answers I seek! Thank you, Stuart! Now, to get deep into this dark web to find the Peace I-- [[Amani is dragged away muffled by a very irate forumer, who declares to the rest that Amani is now grounded and is having their phone privileges revoked, and to please excuse them while they deal with Amani and figure this out, dangit!!]] |

Unless you drink it when it's too hot! xP Uh...yeah, yeah she tried to kill me. She had this...adoptive father? I guess you'd call him? Who wasn't very good to her. He made her do a lot of terrible things, but now Scarlet's away from him and helping out my other friend Poppy at her book store. Scarlet's had a rough time, but she's young and has her whole life ahead of her, and I'm glad she has a chance to enjoy it. Yeah, he does! It's a beautiful place. Which makes sense, because Ev is a celestial, and I think he's probably surrounded by a lot of beautiful things. I would love to visit him. Or maybe he could visit me. I don't know- especially now that I've met a celestial properlike, in a world outside a dream, I wish I could meet him that way. Ev's been there my whole life and I still haven't really met him. Like, we've hugged each other and exchanged hi-fives and stuff, in dreams, but it would be nice knowing it was really-real. And then maybe my friends could meet him too. ...say, you speak like you might have a similar sort of friend? =O Oh! Okay, Amani has to leave...okay! Bye Amani! Be safe! ** Surprising probably nobody, the bond listed on Astro's character sheet is Evlavei. =P He's something of a best friend, something of a father figure, or an older brother. Their dynamic is sweet but hard to pin down! |

I wonder if maybe a separate thread for Spirit Weeks RPing would be a good idea? In case people want to continue the RP after switching themes?

Sounds like a grand idea! I'll set one up when I swap the themes over in a few (just finishing watching a movie first! xD) EDIT: new theme begins! From now until the 21st, the Spirit Weeks theme is Virtual Pets. But if you like, you can continue roleplaying your original characters here. Thanks for the idea, PFA! |

For the virtual pets theme I chose a cute kitten from Neko Atsume, a mobile game where you collect cats by placing toys and other fun things and then placing food in bowls. The cat in my avatar is Billy the Kitten, who only shows up if you have the cowboy hat out.

I do! I had Kacheek in the Haunted Woods (his name was Sammy!), the Aisha neopen (Marie) and the Faerieland deluxe (with Crystal the Uni, Cheeky the Poogle and Flame the Shoyru. xD)

Hello, yes, I heard this theme was Virtual Pets? I can help code a virtual pet for you. (Colaina is my Coding Mynci! She's still a bit in development. Not sure where to go with such a character, when I don't want to go into the usual "tied into Dr. Sloth or the Resistance" route.) (I'd also like to note that I change my forum theme for Spirit Weeks as well, and this week I'm using "Ikkin has a Jeran problem..." because it's the most Neopety theme.)

And I just went with my Neopets. The funny thing is that all my pet used to be rainbow, until I get my Vandagyre. Then, I loved the candy Kougra, and it sill kind of fit rainbow. And well, now its to the point that my remaining rainbow pet is actually my LEAST favorite, and I will probably end up with zero rainbow pets.

Digimon began as a virtual pet; it counts!
Examon is nowhere near my favorite Digimon, or even my favorite Royal Knight, but he is the one I'm currently raising on my Digimon Version 20th, so that's why he gets picked for this theme.
