It would be a fun time. I assume it's sone kind of pokemon/super smash bros mashup? I think I described it as a virtual pet card game combo in the roleplay. XD The inspiration was mostly Digimon/Tamagotchi with a little bit of YuGiOh, Beyblade, and Monster Rancher thrown in, too. |

Last time I did a fan character for Spirit Weeks, I chose The Engineer, from my Infinity saga. While she was a convenient pick considering there's a great custom pic featuring her, she's also a smug and sadistic nihilist, and I kind of wished afterwards that I picked a nicer character.
So this time, I decided to go with Flicker, the main character of Infinity! Because I can't draw worth a darn, I made use of Jellyneo's Customization Wardrobe. Which I'm not entirely satisfied with, considering that there really aren't any wig wearables that match what I imagine Flicker's hair to look like. (Black, short, and spiky. There's the Super Spiky Wig, but it just looks too weird) Oh well.
In a nutshell, Flicker looks like the guy you'd run into in a back-alley that'd punch you and take your money, but he's actually a pretty nice guy; although he does love a good fight and is perhaps too eager to get into one. Nonetheless, he's excitable, curious, and overall kind-hearted.
He's also cursed to age five times faster than normal. Sure, he's still young now, but that's not to last, and that fact causes him no shortage of grief...

That is a very nice thought for Emily! Was it cold? Did Emily give you a coat so you'd stay warm, once you were un-statue-ified? If it was cold, did she give you a fan? How was it like being a rock? I am very good at making things! Um. No coat, or fan, and it was...like nothing? Being a rock, that is. Nothing-like. My name is Astrophelle Valentina Alektos, and I'm an aasimar paladin! =D We are adventurers! I'm meeting so many today, it's just wonderful. I met two other paladins already! One of them was a giant swan person!!!! =0 I have met a couple ghosts. My very good friend Emily is a ghost! So is Mei, but she is...not real friendly...I gave her my tea tin though, and I hope she likes that! It was a real pretty one, I wasn't sure about parting with it, but it's done now and was Worth It! Um...I don't carry sweets with me, sorry, but there are real good sweet shops back in Diamondheart! I like the lil' boiled sweets (the red ones are best!) Maybe we can find you some there. |

I think my gifts help me help...others find peace. Maybe? It's all been a bit stressful for me personally lately, but I have my friends, and I have some tea, and- oh! I sort of help out at the hospital, and the White Chapel- that's Sune's temple here, that's why I wear gold and orange- but I wouldn't say I know Sune. Not as such. But I do know Evlavei! He's wise, but he's also so, so kind, and he doesn't let trying to save people on a broader scale take away from caring about me personally, and my wellbeing. Also he has pretty much the coolest suit I've ever seen, and I kinda wanna know how to get one? But I'm pretty sure as I know him he's just a projection of some sort. In my dreams. I doubt he owns an actual physical suit. So I doubt I'd get a very good answer. Sure, I'll take some tea! Helping others find Peace... That would be nice to do, one day. I-if possible. I should say that ghost hunting is extremely overrated, Pixie, but you're welcome to an attempt at flinging a bedsheet with trite eyeholes over me if it better fits your interests. A time agent, Gelquie? Goodness no, none of that hogwash. A good suit is always in style, regardless of what decade it is. And lovely! *takes Amani's phone and studies it* Well, random things in one's messages certainly are a bother, aren't they? *he reaches a ghostly hand deep into the phone itself, phasing all the way up to his shoulder* *the screen flickers and flashes in shades of static and looses a few stray sparks, until Stuart pulls his arm back out* There! Much obliged. *straightens suit again, smiling* *still sparking and flickering, the phone now shows that someone has hacked the email to send multiple caustic messages to city council as well as to someone named Charisse* The camera's at the top there, be sure to point it well away the next time you accidentally take a photograph. ((Uh, sure, if you want! xD The (neglected) WIP is just a messy thing so far, about a person running a (not very profitable) ghost agency to help ghosts pass on, and Stuart is a side character who's a perpetual thorn in her side. If the next theme is virtual pets then I can stay as Reuben for a few more days if I'm feeling lazy and still comply with the theme.
Yay laziness.
(Or, Kat, you can get off your lazy bum and try to do something for another one of your characters.)
Anyway before the theme ends I'm going to ramble about Reuben.
- He is simultaneously the best and worst big brother ever, despite ahem, some terrible rivalry issues as a kidlet. Supportive and understanding, but also a class A troll when he wants to be and slightly competitive.
- As a kid, he dreamed of becoming a knight before he decided that it wasn't for him, and pursued a new dream of creating and selling weaponry in a small faraway village in Meridell. He has made a name for himself through that.
- I don't know if I meant this but Reuben's RPG class is rogue because he's a proficient knife fighter. He can carry up to a dozen and one blades on his person at one time. He fights like a rogue, but he isn't one. (His little brother would kill him.)
- He fell in love with a writer named Andrea and in the most recent stories about him, he's got a lot of Feelings about becoming a dad.
- His dreams are always really vivid when he's got too much on his mind.

Hmm, not very much like being dead, actually. I'm not supposed to tell you this, but um... *leans in.* I died once, and there was like...this feeling of absolute tranquility? And wholeness. Also a witch and an angel came and talked to me, but I think that was more to do with the coming-back than the being-dead. Whereas when I was a statue it was just...nothing. Like being asleep without dreaming! Sure, I'll take some tea! Helping others find Peace... That would be nice to do, one day. I-if possible. I'm glad you could help! We drink the tea and have a chat. Sometimes there's other stuff that needs doing first- like my friend Scarlet, right, she tried to kill us. Before she was my friend. She needed a lot of help before I knew she'd be okay. So sometimes tea isn't the only thing you need, but if you want to help bring peace to others, I think having lemon tea and the willingness to listen is a good start! He projects himself into my dreams from his home plane, yeah! It's super cool. Usually he shows me places from my history in dreams- like once, a few weeks back, he took me back to the childhood home I don't even remember! Apparently we lived there before we moved to the city. But he showed me this beautiful meadow and stream one time, and said that it was a place from his home instead of my memories. I'd like to see it for real one day. I'd like to see him for real, but...one day! |

Amani, I think if you search in something named "the dark web," which is presumabely a place which is not very well-lit, I think you could find many things that can give you peace! If you're going to Diamondheart anyway, we can visit my favourite tearoom as well. =D There's another paladin there too, she's real good at keeping people safe, but she's usually very busy. Well, being dead wasn't. The actual dying part hurt, but not a whole lot more than other times I've been injured and survived, I reckon. Just this time I was less lucky. It looked so nice too. =( It was a pretty golden ale! And afterwards I tried to teach Mr Slithers to dance, but he didn't want to, but it was still a real nice evening until I woke up in a cell with Emily telling me I nearly died! |
