The Shop Wizard is now more tedious because you can't just refresh and refresh till you get a lower priced option I found a work-around for the time being. I open 10 shop wizard tabs, paste the item I am looking for in each, and then select search. Then I pick the lowest one in the 10 tabs and close the rest. Clunky, but it helps for the Faerie quest cookie.

So far, my first impression for the new site is extremely clunky and not that intuitive, especially when using a desktop. I have forgotten a few times already that clicking on the neopoint amount doesn't send me to my inventory like in classic, but to the bank. I know it's in the early stages right now, but still.
I'm starting to think that the Cloud Jubjub showing up when a page loads will be the equivalent to the Classic site DfM Pteri.

Clunky, but it helps for the Faerie quest cookie. Even better shortcut following a similar idea: 1. Open Shop Wizard & Type in the item you want to search. 2. Right click on the Shop Wizard's tab and "Duplicate" the tab. You'll discover not only has the page been duplicated, but also the text in the search bar so you don't have to type it out each time! And, if you already did a search for the item, you can still duplicate the tab which will take you back to the search page BUT the item your searching for will still be typed in! 3. Sometimes the duplicate tab doesn't copy the text. Don't worry, just close it and duplicate the previous tab again. 4. Note if you want to do a new search you're going to have to refresh the Shop Wizard page. Clicking "New Search" will have any duplicate tab come up as a page error for some reason. Though it should be noted Gutterfoot said when TNT returns on the 4th they'll make it so you can refresh the search result (hopefully making it an actual feature instead of clicking the refresh button on your browser).

1. Open Shop Wizard & Type in the item you want to search. 2. Right click on the Shop Wizard's tab and "Duplicate" the tab. This depends on the browser. Firefox has that feature. Seamonkey doesn't. Edit: I tried that, and once the quest is taken, duplicating the tab results in a quest ban page, so that doesn't work. You have to have the tab open before accepting the quest.

To be fair, the refreshing the Shop Wizard page when on a Faerie Quest was always an exploit which TNT swept under the rug. So now having to fairly do the Faerie Quests would probably be something the original TNT probably would have done if they could (but didn't as they probably didn't want to mess with the Shop Wizard coding). ;P

In these trying times I would like to thank Jellyneo for the Dailies page which is currently the best and easiest way for me to get anything done on the site.
I would also like to thank Jellyneo's Item Database, more specifically, for the link on every item page which opens a Shop Wizard page... with the name of the item pre-filled. Yep.

I'm trying to give the new layout a fair chance, but the missing features are pretty annoying. Where the heck is quickstock (you can still get to it through direct link but why is it not linked on the inventory screen)

I keep waiting for TNT to come out and tell us this is a 2021 Nick Neopia prank.

Me personally, I don't mind the general look of the new site and could grow to get used to it. It just would, you know, be nice to not have to jump through hoops to get to Quick Stock and the SDB...
Of course, I generally don't use very many parts of the site that utilized Flash, either. (I haven't tried them out, but I hear the converted games have problems?) Plus, I can only use the desktop version, since I don't have a smartphone, so I have no idea how well or not well the mobile version works.

Plus, I can only use the desktop version, since I don't have a smartphone, so I have no idea how well or not well the mobile version works. I have zero desire to use my phone or pad on Neopets. It's always been a desktop/laptop thing for me, and while there was some good-natured grumbling when they changed the look and feel many years back, the functionality was minimally impacted. This however is a major retooling and much of it doesn't work, or it bounces back and forth between the new and old format. As mentioned, many important links, like SDB and Quickstock are missing. I have added them to my drop-downs in my browser. Feeding a pet is a pain. If the pet is too full, you can't back-page and select the next one. Regular interaction with your inventory is slow, confused, and if you do anything you have the CJJOD (Cloud JubJub of Doom) to deal with while it reloads the page, no matter what you do. I've already posted my thoughts about the Shop Wizard.

Well, at least they're listening as some fixes were implemented today. While quick stock has been added to the inventory page (it's the icon of a box on a trolley), the actual page has not been converted to match the new site as of yet. Another important note is that the Shop Wizard can now be refreshed via a button at the bottom of the page, although not via browser refresh.
It's a start.

As I mentioned previously, my main complaint was the redesign was clunky and not that intuitive (for example, going through hoops just to reach the SDB, which is currently unconverted). An update released on Jan 27 made some changes to the side menu when you click your active pet, namely adding SDB, Quick Stock and Item Transfer Log to the Inventory, as well as gallery items. The side menu has been streamlined as well to make things easier.
It's still clunky with a lot of unconverted pages, but it's definitely improved.

Hey we've just had an update, and not only is the Wheel of Monotony converted - spectacular - and the clock visible at all times again, BUT!!
they have released the Valentine's Day site theme!
and you know what? it's ADORABLE, it's gorgeous! I don't even like V-day aesthetic and the usual colours but it was so much nicer than I expected! Check it out!

Just thought I'd post this here, seeing as we have no updates to the site in 2 months. Frustrating, yes, but hopefully, it will be worth the wait.
From New Features:
Also, my editorial question, appearing in Issue 935, which pretty much explains the same thing

They've put out the next batch of release notes! My favorite highlight from it is a now-functioning search feature, I've had to get creative looking up users before xD
They also made a number of pages mobile friendly, including site quests, community central, and create a pet (and any newly created pet comes with a cute bandana! =0)
