Heya, everyone! It’s been a long time since I was round these parts. A very long time… I once went by Kathleen , although in the intervening seven-ish (seven?!) years since I’ve logged on, I somehow managed to forget both my login info, and to apparently have had the email address I used deleted. Amazing. On the upside, I've got a nice shiny fresh account. I feel brand-new again. Anyway, someone mentioned Neopets to me recently and I got to feeling all nostalgic and thought I'd pop in again, see how things are around here. It sure is amazing to see some familiar names! |

I've been here less than seven years, so our paths never crossed before. But it's lovely to meet you. I'm June, I enjoy writing stories, drawing art, and combining the two by creating comics.

Hey everyone, old and new alike! Yay, Kat, it's super good to see you here; returning peeps unite!  June Scarlet , I did a bit of everything I guess... started out writing for the NT and for a while was really into the Poetry Contest, and the Storytelling Contest (is that still a thing?). I drew a bit, too, but not comics. I used to be on here so much haha, back in ye old days when the 'bloids were super active and we rode dinosaurs to school. Man, proboards really got an update while I was away. In my day, we didn't even have this 'like' stuff and tagging people was unheard of. Status updates?! what is this nonsense, kids these days... |

June Scarlet , I did a bit of everything I guess... started out writing for the NT and for a while was really into the Poetry Contest, and the Storytelling Contest (is that still a thing?). I drew a bit, too, but not comics. I used to be on here so much haha, back in ye old days when the 'bloids were super active and we rode dinosaurs to school. Man, proboards really got an update while I was away. In my day, we didn't even have this 'like' stuff and tagging people was unheard of. Status updates?! what is this nonsense, kids these days... Ah yes, those were the days, 'bloids exploded and we didn't have the mythical "like", although the status update is really just the text under your avatar. Storytelling is still a thing but it's under new management and now they only release one winning entry a day, so stories are much shorter. (My old style of entering and winning won't fly nowadays, my winning entries tended to get really long.) Poetry, under the same new management, is also still a thing but rejection letters barely show up so I feel like all my poems that didn't make it into the galleries without rejection letters have just been stowed into the database. Hopefully. It's been hard to get back into both lately especially after I got punched in the face with hefty NT inspiration after being away from the NT for so long. |

The old Poetry judge was so nice... she used to leave me little personal notes in the acceptance/held-over neomails, and accepted a lot of my wildest poems, I think it had gotten a lot more rigid by the time I quit though (just after New Mgmt TM, or maybe 1st New Mgmt) seemed everything that won rhymed. Storytelling had some of the best writers, you included, it's a little said it's so limited now. I'm glad you've got inspiration for the NT again, though! That's awesome. Hi, Killix! It's good to be back here again. Not sure how long it'll last, but I'm gonna try not to forget my account info again rofl. I'm so glad this place is still around, quiet as it is - so many great memories here. Does NTWF have a Discord these days?

Currently in the prep stage for my Masters dissertation. How's about you? What you been up to? It is a very good place indeed. There's a good community here, like nowhere else. |
