But the suspense is not over yet, ohhhh not at ALL. Because now each of our six contestants must face their own separate battles! Who will thrive? WHO WILL WITHER? WHO WILL BEAR FRUIT? ONLY TIME WILL TELL!But it has still been a battle for the ages, so let's have a ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR OUR SURVIVORS!

I'm so proud of all of our tomatoes.
Jeran, you'd better survive because you are punching me with story inspiration over here.

In the back row, JERAN, SALSA (SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED), and EPIC TOMATO PLEASE DO NOT EAT have all been repotted.
In the front row, PRINCESS SPARKLES, TOMATO, and TOMATOSAURUS REX are still in their original pots. So, for the purpose of any ILLEGAL BETS, these plants are the WINNERS OF THIS ROUND!

*Checks my betting sheet.* ... Woo! Perfect run!!
"But the first two rounds--"
Shh, I've made even!
...Uh, I mean. Of course, I would never make illegal bets! That would be greedy and take the fun out of it! Yup! Now, please excuse me while I don't find the people who made bets and lost so that they pay up.
I'm happy all 6 survived; all the tomatoes from all the sources! That's great. ^^
As for who survives, uh... I want to bet on ALL 6 of them surviving, but uhh, Jeran and Epic Tomato don't boost me with confidence. So I will bet on all the other four besides those two surviving!

Hurray, my favourite tomatoes all live!
Tomatosaurus Rex, is (rather appropriately) a MONSTER. A total kaiju of tomatoes. Way to grow, my friend!
Princess Sparkles is looking mighty tall and regal these days. She will make a mighty Queen!
I think it's heartwarming how Tomato is reaching its leaves into Salsa (Some Assembly Required)'s pot, as if it didn't want to be separated! So touching how these heated rivalries have turned into deep friendships! ;o;

>_> <_< Ssso on the one hand, we're still in the middle of that wee global pandemic. On the other hand, we as a country have long since perfected the art of getting stuff done without having to directly interact with people. Thus, after a few emails and a trek to the package terminal: ( Liou =D)

It's PERFECT.
Also that Tomato Jeran story is already in the development stage. Added challenge: insert references to the other tomato plants in it.
*rolls up sleeves*

Aaah!! It is canon / am ascended fan / I am now a world famous tomato plant label designer!! Sorrynotsorry for contributing to the unreasonable attachment.
(I guess that means you're no longer doing the thing where only Fraze knows which name goes with which plant so that the popularity rankings do not affect Hunty's executive decisions. I imagined that went like when you were both in a mafia game and endeavouring to keep your roles secret in the same household.)

True confession, in The Town I knew Hunty was Resistance from almost the very beginning when I saw her chatting in the Resistance Skype group. I decided that counted as an unfair advantage so didn't consider it when casting my votes. Although in retrospect if she had ghost'd earlier, a lot more things might have been set on fire. But really the nametags are awesome and I'm all for getting attached to plants now that the contest is over. (Rip Viney Fruit Boi and Tomato 2: Botanic Boogaloo, you were my favorite competitors who didn't make it.) We may even reuse the nametags for future plants if we ever do this again. And by "do this" I mean "massively underestimate just how much space and soil six tomato plants require ahahahaha." (Seriously we just online-bought 40 liters of soil and six lorge pots we aren't okay send help)

Yeah, the Town was a lost cause from the start, because either Fraze was going to see me be part of a skype group very conspicuously named LIFE IS NOT-GOOD (I did point out that it should've been named WE LIKE PUPPIES instead, but alas) or constantly see me suspiciously minimize the skype window every time he got near, which still would've meant either me being Resistance or me talking to my hawt mistress. So I pretty much tried my darndest to be sneaky within reason and banked on him being honorable.
The tomatoes were easier in that regard in that I just didn't put any effort in remembering who's who until we got to the point of spreading everyone into separate pots :'D So right now it's just a matter of whether they'll be able to survive individually and I can finally actually learn the names of my babies.
s'just that it only ever occurred to me to check last night how much space and soil ye average cherry tomato actually needs. We're not quite going the whole nine yards with five-gallon pots, but if these viney bois continue to grow the way they have, we might end up with a very jungle-y balcony this summer.

When we started this venture, I was vaguely envisioning something to this effect: Our balcony right now: halp
