The response here is just wonderful; thanks so much to everyone who signed up! We will been finishing up our game prep over the next few days and keep everyone posted. On the matter of logistics, It will be easier to work out teams with a roster of 15 people, so if anyone was on the fence and now wants to PC, we have one last slot open. We are on track to have the game up by the end of the week! As we finish our preperations, we are taking any questions people have about the setting.
To first respond to Discord chatter, the initial setting is the generic, small town of Uffnewt. The game takes place in a light fantasy setting. The town is just the starting point for the story! Magic rarely goes beyond cantrips, and is usually weak and unconventional-- and not everyone practices it. There are no grand magical factions or wizard wars-- but one would often encounter a magus using charms to make their house smell nice or a chef using levitation magic to flip omelets. This strange weather phenomena is magic on a far larger scale than has been witnessed in recent memory.

... Is that last one slot still open? I've actually been on the fence about whether to sign up or not, but I think that might be a sign! (If you've already figured things out without it, that's okay, though!)

And thanks for the clarification! This is going to help solidify my character/persona idea in my head.
(I ended up opting to keep it to myself until it's open. But I will be drawing from a part of myself that doesn't normally make it into my personas, if only because it's a relatively more recent (albeit significant) thing. ^^ )
...Character/persona name, though, will be a challenge. xD

HMMMM might have to tweak my persona a bit for the setting, thanks for the heads-up! Heh, cantrips remind me of my first D&D session, I could use my cleric character from it and fix her up.
