Autumn's better than Summer! Fall brings us pretty leaves and pumpkin-spice sweets. Summer brings us atrocious heat and flip-flops.

Unfortunately there is no autumn for us, so enjoy it for me, guys.
We don't have falling leaves, we have falling rain.

Well today is the 54th of August and I am still enjoying the EXCELLENT heat that prevents me from curling up into a shivering lump and only being able to move an inch at a time when getting ready in the morning, the SUPERGREAT heat that allows me to frolic around barefoot, free as the wind and unhindered by layers of heavy clothing, and I am not looking forward to stepping into overheated buildings and feeling all the drowsy from temperature changes. (yes I like summer heat when it's naturally warm everywhere but I don't like overheated indoors at winter time)

I love rain! They destroyed all the lingering smoke we had.
*sends storm to destroy my enemies*

Killix - Thorn just lives in opposite* land. ^^ *Opposite relative to us.

Opposite Land sounds simultaneously amazing and terrifying.
Like, are scorpions made of candy in opposite land? They're made of stingy pain here.
Alternatively, I fear for all of the things I hold dear and what they might become in such a land.

We don't even have scorpions, that's how opposite we are. Or snakes, or...much in the way of dangerous critters.

Opposite land can indeed be amazing and terrifying! Especially the part of Opposite Land that is Australia.
Scorpions are not made of candy even in opposite land, but are indeed edible! After a fashion. There's even a lollipop out there that has them embedded within. (I had one once. I didn't even like the candy part enough to enjoy it.)
But that's interesting to know that Thorn's part of Opposite Land doesn't have much in the way of those! I would expect that more in polar climates.

Ooh, it's like Reverse Australia! :D

NZ isn't a polar climate, it's temperate (fairly comparable to the UK, actually! My area is especially Scottish, with lots of rain.) But yah, it is kind of reverse Australia! xD With no native mammals besides a couple of bats, a lot of our birds evolved to lose their ability to fly, so we have lots of neat flightless birds. Although our flying ones are cool too, like the adorable kakapo and lovely kea.

Thorn lives in Opposite Land but I live in Very Warm Land. (Never mind that it's raining like crazy right now, by tomorrow the weather will be warm again unless it rains again)
Hi, equator.

Wasn't calling NZ polar, I was saying I expect less critter life like that in polar climates. xD
That is interesting the fauna of NZ, though!
Equator land is strange in its own way.

Gotcha! I misinterpreted, I thought you were saying you'd expect scarier lifeforms in polar climates, like NZ, and that that's why it was interesting to know we didn't have them. xD
But to be fair, any lifeform can be scary if it really tries...I once got chased up a tree by a chicken.
