This animation was slow to load today, and I kept trying to guess the story. It was cute, and nice to see that character again, but I was imagining seeing some of his old friends too. Also... You also find a Count Von Roos Floating Shadow!!! * The Black and White Wearable Army grows...

Day 15: Virtupets HolidayANIMATION: I think I get what they're going for but don't think it was presented properly. Cylara and Gorix (good to see both of them again) are looking around the Space Station yet everyone seems to be gone. But then they press a button and, surprise, everyone is at a fair! However they don't really show how empty the Space Station is so loses some impact. Also feels odd the way the fair is setup on the Virtupets Space Station, like that's a pretty big room on the space station if they can setup random fair stands all around. Think it would have made more sense being placed on Kreludor. PRIZES: Background looks nice (wish the tree looked more Virtupets theme). Tinsel Braid I can see having a lot of uses so good too. GRADE: Day 16: Soup-ceptionANIMATION: It's fine. Soup Faerie gets a random gift of a magical book that shows her making many of her recipes. A nice little memento for her, as long as she's happy we don't need to think too had about how creepy it is that someone has been magically & secretly recording the Soup Faerie in her own home. PRIZES: Wreath is nice but why is the background the Scratchcard Kiosk? Shouldn't it be the Soup Faerie's home in the winter time? Did they mix up some prizes? Also, can't really tell it's the Scratchcard Kiosk's hut (though definitely can tell it's not the Soup Faerie's home as it's not a pot). GRADE: Day 17: Granny Is Coming To TownANIMATION: What was with the ominous music when Granny Hopbobbin showed up? If we were supposed to think it was a dark figure suddenly showing up they should have kept her in silhouette before revealing her face. Unless this is a hint of Granny's true nature! Otherwise a "meh" animation. PRIZES: I can see the glasses getting some use. And more book... wait, "for grown ups". Why? What's in a book of pictures of Granny Hopbobbin's cottage that aren't meant for kids? GRADE: Day 18: Wadjet The Matter?ANIMATION: Cute animation. I'm really liking the variety of past characters JS is using, they're not just sticking to modern characters. Anyway, odd Capara is now Yellow even though the gift based on her is still Red. Is the animation right or the item? And real jerk move, Brucey and Fernypoo. That's like if someone gifted Brucey a plushie of Spectre and Fernypoo a plushie of the old hag version of her. Then again I guess it's a small prank between friends, nothing a little beat-up won't fix. PRIZES: Capara toy looks really low quality (surprised they didn't give us the Wadjet Plushie). Princess Fernypoo dress is fine, can see it being used if someone wants a REALLY pink dress. GRADE: Day 19: Twins All AlongANIMATION: Okay, JS, this was funny and glad you can poke fun at yourself (still doesn't forgive the blatantly re-used artwork but that's a topic for another time). So it's now canon that Atsumi and Mirsha are sisters (possibly twins?) and they also have a younger Blumaroo brother. The jokes here are basic but I still smiled: their home being a mess, Atsumi given the bigger present; actually most of these jokes are at Atsumi's expense but whatever. PRIZES: Surprised Mirsha didn't have an action figure before but instead only had a plushie. But now she does so, even though it's not a Altador Cup Prize, she finally got her due. The background is also nice, though the perspective makes the house look more like a doll house. GRADE: Day 20: A Cup Of Borovan To Pass The TimeANIMATION: A simple Borovan Day animation. Though there's some confusing elements to it like why did the light go out as if they're electronic even though we visibly see the cabin is lit via a chandelier and lantern? Also, I'm not saying borovan tastes bad, but when they're pouring the borovan into the cups it looks like they're blobs of dung. JS, you need to be real careful how you draw brown colored clumps... PRIZES: Background is a bit dark, also I never heard of "The Hub" before. And a book is like all books, nice to get. GRADE: Day 21: A Scare Before ChristmasANIMATION: Ooh, a Ghoul Catcher animation. And not just that, but its seemingly not based on the version of them from the app game; unless this is supposed to confirm that Dr. Boolin still does exist even though in the app game he's been replaced by Glyn. Anyway, nice animation all around. PRIZES: Fireplace looks nice. Von Roo's shadow is alright though I wished at some points it darted across the background like it did in the animation. GRADE: Day 22: Seeking KnowledgeANIMATION: And like with the MAGAX & Nox animation, I also forgot that King Hagan was a member of The Seeker... oh, wait, he isn't? Why not? I would think one of the biggest contributors to The Seekers would be King Hagan and the kingdom of Brightvale. I guess Hagan does have to remain neutral or at least appearing to do so. But yeah, big feast for King Hagan and his guests The Seekers (guess Roberta isn't part of The Seekers, she does seem more like of a "Order of the Red Erisim" character, her mentor is a member of theirs). And I like the attention of detail as you do see The Seeker members mentioned on their Neopedia page: Professor Lambert, Hugo and Lilian Fairweather, Frostburn, Roxton Colchester, & Professor Chesterpot. Well, at least Hugo and Chesterpot. You only see Lambert and Frostburn from behind, and for some reason instead of using one of the many images of Lilian and Roxton they used a generic Xweetok and Lutari that's dressed like them (not helped with them having another generic Lutari character that's a palette swap). PRIZES: Hagan's crown and a Brightvale cape is very nice, especially for any Green Skeiths wanting to dress like royalty. The cake looks neat, designed like its made from books. And I'm sure no one is complaining about a free Dyeworks potion. GRADE:

For the 23rd, 24th, and even today I don't really have much to say about their animations or gifts.
23rd: King Kelpbeard celebrates his holiday by taking his army out for a feast and plays darts with a dartboard that has Scarblade's face on it. Alright. One of the few rare days without a wearable or book.
24th: A little bit more interesting as it focuses on an obscure Neopedia character. Though they don't really do anything with the tale, it's just Samantha putting on a show for kids which I'm guessing is the re-telling of her story with the Brain Tree.
25th: A surprising reference to a long removed site feature. Though not sure what it was about, the kids we've been seen throughout these animations snuck into the old Tower of Turnips field to stack their Christmas presents?
Yeah, kind of shrugged off days.

For today's prizes, the ring is a battledome item.
I'm also laughing at how comically small the scimitar shown in the animation is compared to how it appeared previously.
